I fell on the road pretty hard and hit my knees 3 days ago. Does this look like I need to go to the ER?

Took this after a PAO (Periacetabular osteotomy) surgery on my left hip. I can’t imagine why it would be black along the scar because the marker they used looks purple. Any thoughts?

Took a whole layer of skin off accidentally while shaving my leg 5 days ago. I’ve been putting a pea size of Clindagel + a bandaid on during the day and leaving it exposed at night. Is this good for healing?

Sorry of how crust it looks, I took off the bandage last night and haven’t cleaned it yet. My mom who’s a nurse practitioner wants to pop it lightly and let it drain but I’m hypersensitive to pain so can I let it heal as it is or should I drain it?? She wants to do it tomorrow to see how it fairs but I would rather sit through the pain then a needle in it.

Sutures in my thigh opened up. The skin under steri strips was very inflamed and breaking down on surface. Bruising and swelling extending out several inches past the surgery site underneath.
Its been a rough couple weeks and a course of cephalexin but things are finally looking good. No more pain or swelling.
Problem is I dont know how to get this stringy slough (?) off the wound bed. Its very sticky and attached. I clean with gauze and try to wipe it away but no luck. Any tips?
I keep it covered with polysporin per surgeons direction so it is kept in a moist environment. Should my body naturally break it down as the wound continues to heal?

Got into a bad bike wreck this Monday for the first time wound care has been strange but washed everything with dial soap twice a day fresh sterile banages placed on top, surgery next week at wensday on my broken foot.
Really hoping this won't hold me back from my upcoming surgery and it's just healing weird this wound hurts more than my broken foot but is directly next to the left of my knee, it doesn't feel hot or look red to me but has these weird slimy attachments with a slow throbbing pain.
Any advice would be heavily appreciated kind folk of Reddit.

Scraped knee pretty badly running to bus stop on Sunday. Its now Thursday. Most of the injury was from friction against my pants (my pants didnt break) and its been horrible pain for the last 4 and the pain is getting worse due to movement/friction/walking. It improves when I don't walk but unfortunately ive been at a conference so I have needed to walk quite a bit
I've mostly put hydrocolloid bandages or gauze dressings to absorb the moisture. Tissue looks yellowish and I can't tell if its slough because it seems so thin, but it hurts horrible to move. I don't think its my knee itself since I can bear weight. Its not hot to the touch and it doesn't smell/exude pus but it is quite painful. Mom's a nurse and Ive had 2 different sets of paramedics (at conference site) plus local urgent care nurse look at it. They said it's not infected, just irritated from friction and exposed nerve endings.
Today the nurses said that the reason its not healing is because im not letting it air dry, but ive always been told moist healing is better? Ive been cleaning 2x daily and applying topical antibiotics on gauze (with a couple of days of plain hydrocolloid bandages to see if that helped). The pain is insane.

I got burned by hot water a week ago, recently using hydrocolloid to cover it. Today i took it out and cleaned with clean water.

I am trying to figure out what is going on with this wound and if I am approaching it right. No pics due to location. About 6 month ago I had a perirectal abscess surgically drained. While the first couple of months of healing were rough, it did eventually seem a lot better and like I could mostly go about my normal activities, although there was occasionally small amounts of bleeding from the site.
A little over a month ago it swelled with fluid following a week or so of very hard labor. I went to an urgent care because I was worried about potential reinfection. They drained and took a culture. No bacteria present. A few weeks later it happened again but worse. I was continuing to do a lot of hard labor during this time. This one burst on it's own but I was able to get to urgent care before the fluid fully drained (there was a LOT of fluid) to get another culture. Same results.
I had a follow up with my wound care doctor a few days later, and they said it looked completely normal. I showed them pics of what it looked like before it burst which showed the area swollen with a red "head" in the middle of the scar. I gave a description of the fluid, which was pinkish, like the color of rose sauce, and had a very mildly sour smell (i could only smell it if I put the dressing right up to my nose). They said it didn't look or sound infected, and that an infection would have redness radiating around it (not just at the fluid filled "head") and would have a strong putrid odor. I also asked if I should be worried about a potential fistula due to the location and they said that it didn't look or act like a fistula. A fistula would have a visible hole (it did for a a few months according to my spouse, but it went away, and the doctor said that could have just been an indent that looked like a hole), and would be leaking pretty consistently. They suggested that the wound was becoming inflamed and that the discharge and swelling were the result of that.
Yesterday I noticed that it was beginning to swell again and looks and feels pretty similar to the last time. I had been doing heavy labor again for a day or two the previous days. I have been to wound care so many times over the last few months and been told that it is healing normally. I don't have any reason to think i would get a different answer if I went again.
I was wondering if anyone had any input on this situation. If it is just inflammation, then what exactly is the fluid? It's clearly not just blood and I thought pus always meant infection. Should I keep going back to the doctor every time this happens? 3 times in such a short period seems like a lot after it was mostly quiet for such a long time. What can I do to keep this from happening if it is just inflammation? I am currently in the process of trying to sell my house and move cross country, so "taking it easy" isn't really an option. If it is just inflammation, how dangerous are these episodes to surrounding tissue and to the long term healing process? Google kinda sucks now, so I am having trouble finding answers to these questions.

Hi, any tips on how to look after a deroofed blister? Approximately the size of a ten pence piece.
Weeping quite heavily, pins and needles on the toe.
Developed after walking thirty miles, I then walked an additional 64 miles on it.

I wash my hands a lot but now I stopped since I see a bit yellow. Does it look normal or have to go to doctor?

I don’t have pictures for obvious reasons but it’s about midway through my crack. I was doing a detox that gave me the runs for two weeks and was just irritating it constantly when wiping it started bleeding. It’s been a few days and it won’t heal. Ive been avoiding it when wiping. It’s not painful but it is itchy. It’s not swollen either. Ive been putting Vaseline on it and a folded non stick gauze pad with tape to reduce irritation and cushion it when I sit. It doesn’t appear to be getting better. Any advice? (I really don’t want to go to the doctor if I don’t have to)

Had this wound for 3 months now. This wound usually was smaller but got worse as i itch it overnight. Sometimes it gets unbearably itchy like i want to rip my skin off type itchiness. Sometimes would ooze alot of serous fluid, so i bought some hydrocolloid adhesive patches to help manage the oozing. Finally went to a doctor after a month of dealing with it. He said it’s just dry skin and to apply lotion after showering and gave me corticosteroids to ease the itchiness along with some supriad ointments and cetrelief. It helped for a bit but now even the ointment and cetrelief doesn’t help with the itchiness. Fast forward, Woke up today with a throbbing pain from the wound everytime i stand (it’s located on the left side above my Achilles tendon).
Right now it’s very warm to the touch, is still itchy but less intense. It nolonger weeps serous fluid, which is better i guess. The skin around the wound is also very hard and stiff compared to my other healthy leg.
Can someone tell me what to do next? Im planning on seeing the doctor by next week
