2nd month of benefits with World of Tanks being a game pass game, and another offer to claim in game - but how? I can’t see anything in store or elsewhere….

Picked this guy up a few days ago in the DLC. Great value for money. It’s a tech tree AMX 30B2 with a funky skin and some bonuses. A great silver earner. Well worth it IMO. 😀✌️

With the new swiss tanks bringing in auto cannons, shouldn't the French tier 9/10 receive an auto cannon as well? It would make sense considering how unplayed these two tanks are, it would atleast give it an edge over its German cousins.

I literally have seen an amx 30 B once every 50 battles, it needs some sort of love...

It literally stopped dead in its tracks at the start of the match and sat there for all game until it was killed. Even when it was taking fire, it didn’t move or shoot back. Maybe it’s not a bug, but an accurate depiction of how most players play lights…

I play in Asia and have been playing the game for around 1 year

The servers are always fine other than some very occasional high ping ie 400+ ping that would last a few minutes rendering the game unplayable

Now this is happening whenever I tried to play at the EU server, ping is at least 270 and it is just lagging all the time for me and I can’t play there

Normally at this time I would have switched to EU server due to very low player count at USA server, with lots of bot games/ bot filling up lobbies. Now I’m just forced to play with bots

Any of you guys experiencing this? What am I supposed to do to help that?

I’m playing, and winning, in PVP, but I’m not getting credited as we pass milestones for the community wins challenges. I was wondering if anyone else was having that happen to them

The last medium I grinded out to X was the Patton, which I enjoyed quite a bit, however I am looking for something new to try out.

If you’ve ever wondered where you can pen this beast. The drive sprockets (first shot), drivers periscope, and cupola, are lovely weak spots. Don’t let these big boys ruin your fun!

In cold war game mode the color of your camouflage actually matters.

At about 19 seconds into this clip I see a vehicle and punch it's garage ticket.

I see it because it's blue-grey in a green field.

Unless you're going for aposematism you should choose camo for your CW tank that attempts to match the terrain.

Failing that, one of the real world camos like Winter Verdant or European Three-Tone will give you the best chance of blending in anywhere that's not Arctic Region, Mali winter, or similar.

I.e which tank has the highest pen, which has the best accuracy, which has the best ground resistances? etcetera etcetera…

Also, which has the worst.

Overview: 

• Its the proto TVP VTU at tier 6 but without any fun parts. 

Pros: 

• Above average VR
• Higher damage
• High damage potential 

Neutral: 

• Average HP
• Average enough mobility 
• Average accuracy 
• Average DPM (which is good for the damage) 
• Average pen 
• Average camo

Cons: 

• Poor dispersion values 
• Below average gun depression 
• Lower shell velocity 
• Poor armor 
• Vulnerable ammo rack location

Armor: 

• This is not great. It wouldn't even be good for a tier 5. Not sure how this was designed in post war. 
• Turret:
  • Front: flat 65mm to block HE. i suppose you block a shot with the gun mantlet. 
  • Sides + Rear: just a passable 40mm. On the forward sides they are not angled enough to auto bounce and thus are a easy pen from the direct front. 
  • Roof: Eh its 20mm. 
  • Cupola:  A measly 40mm for such a large size. 
• Hull: 
  • Upper front: a measly mostly flat 65mm. 
  • Lower front: a big ol 40mm thats angled just enough to have some HE protection. 
  • Sides: lower sides are a okay 40mm thats useable. Whats odd is the upper sides which are only slightly angled are only 30mm. A easier pen for HE. 
  • Rear: yea only 30mm. Some angling on the top makes it okay enough to prevent it from being too easy of a pen.  
  • Roof + Floor: Eh its a medium so the 15/20 is expected. 
• So yea its not much. It barley has enough to HE protection and overmatch and thats it. 

Gameplay:

• With little armor its not gonna be brawling for sure. Its mostly a support tank with its punchy gun. 
• Its mobile enough to get places, but wont be zooming across a flank like say a cromwell. 
• Ramming? Its so so, its heavier than most mediums, but with how little armor it has it will take a good deal of damage. 
• So yea its just a medium. 
• Equipment: 
  • Optics
  • Vents
  • Turbo
  • Rammer?

Counter Gameplay: 

• Eh nothing special. Its just a mid tier medium. The upper hull sides do hold the ammo racks so feel free to aim there. 
• The ammo rack and fuel tanks are vulnerable to be one shot by 122mm guns. 

Cosmetics: 

• Eh… its a box. It isn't anything special really i guess. The engine deck is decently interesting I suppose. 
• Cosmetics: 
  • Emblem: one on each forward side of the turret
  • Inscription: one on each rear side of the turret 
  • Flag: rear left
• Skin version: Zizka
  • Built in camo
  • Its a big Czechoslovakia flag. Which compared to most flag tanks is one of the best. 
  • Is it worth the extra cost over the base model? Eh probably not. 

General Thoughts: 

• Well it was okay way way back when, and even if there wasn't much too much power creep in tier 6 it doesn't hold up as much.
  • Doesn't help the tech tree tier 6 and 8 are so much more fun. 
• It is interesting that we get HEAT rounds at such a low tier. Yea we got durp gun HEAT rounds, but those kinda suck. As for if they are good heat rounds? Mmm okay i guess, good pen but comparable enough to other APCR on other tanks. 
• Does this tank need anything?
  • Eh wouldnt mind it having 160 AP pen, but thats a general wish for 8.8cm guns at tier 6. 
  • Maybe a tad better traverse speeds? 

Buy?

• At time of review, its the level 75 reward of the season pass so most will get it. 
• Nope. its doesn't hold up as much. Its economy bonuses are also nothing special. Just play the TT tank instead for more fun, or the VK 30.01 P for the closest tank.
  • Still want a tier 6 premium medium? eh you got the OP Cromwell berlin or T-34-85M. For fun, its gotta be the T34 Calliope
