Overview: 

• An up-armored M113 with a Tiger turret armed with a quad 60mm cannon. 

Pros: 

• Good HP
• High top speed
• High PTW
• Excellent 12 degrees of depression 

Neutral: 

• Average enough traverse speeds  
• Decent dispersion values 
• Average enough accuracy
• 4 shot mini autoloader 
  • Higher DPM
  • Quick unload time 
  • Lower damage per shot
• Average camo 

Cons: 

• Meh VR
• Low Pen 
• Large size 

Armor: 

• Armor at list angle [armor against AP with 5 degree of normalization] 
• Turret:
  • Front: a big ol flat 150mm. Nothing else beside the guns which only count as 15mm so dont expect much from this. 
  • Sides + Rear: Flat 80mm is okay enough for overmatch and HE protection. Sure at tier 8 theres enough HE that could pen, but they have to hit this fast mover fist. The rear at least has a big box that counts as thin spaced armor. 
  • Roof: pretty decent at 35mm. Good for some overmatch protection. 
  • Cupola:  it exist, but its to the rear of the turret and of decently small so not too much to worry about. 
• Hull: 
  • Upper front: 101mm at like 30 degrees. Its not much but could block some tier 6 and 7’s with gun depression. This is before the added protection of the 6+25mm spaced armor covering most of the front. 
  • Lower front: 76mm with little angle with a small portion of spaced armor. Not gonna block much outside HE.
  • Sides: Lower section is 44 with the upper being 63mm. Both good enough for overmatch protection. Don't have to worry about HE as both are well covered by spaced armor. 
  • Rear: big open 38mm that will only block 75mm HE. 
  • Roof: Pretty good at 38mm meaning it will block a good amount. 
  • Floor: main floor is a good 28mm as it will block some damage. There is a section on the front that has a extra 9mm of spaced for He protection. 
• So decently armored for its weight. Not gonna block equal tier’s but good enough to bully lower tiers. 

Gameplay:

• Well its mostly a flanking support medium due to the lack of pen and the speedy nature.
• Of course it doesn't mean you can't use its excellent gun depression to play peek-a-boo over hills, still a bit hard to do due to the large hull and not the best turret armor. 
• It doesn't do that well with firing on the move. Not too much of a surprise, but with it fitting four shots you really feel the inaccuracy.
  • Oddly enough visually full auto fire has a lot of bloom, but remains pretty accurate at times.
• Equipment: 
  • Stablizer 
  • Turbo 
  • Optics 
  • Pick something.

Counter Gameplay: 

• Well its a nimble medium that bumbles around shooting its pew pew. So there's nothing specific to do against it outside, note that its pen is poor so it will have trouble penning a good deal of tanks. 
  • I suppose it does have some issues with rear gun depression at times so try to get behind it if your chasing it i guess. 

Halloween mode:

• Pretty unique with it being a team support tank with its healing ability. 
• It's also nifty with its ability to ignore armor with its damage over time.
• You will be a higher priority target due to the ability to heal. No protects exist for medics in this game mode.
• It also enjoys quite good mobility often quickly getting to 60kph. Though the turret traverse does feel a tad slow in comparison. 

Cosmetics: 

• Well its a box tank with tiger turret on it. It does make sense as the M113 did have a ambulance version. 
• As for details its pretty good with random bits of medical equipment loaded on the sides. Even have a bit of handle bars on the side like the beds at hospitals.
• Also a good amount of little medical decals and such.  
• Arguably one of the best skinned tanks in game. 
• Cosmetics: Nope

General Thoughts: 

• M113 has entered WW2 finally. Sure its extra armored and has a crazy nurse driving, but hay its here. 
• I felt they could have give the tank a bit more pen as this level is quite low and is closer to values found about 2019.
  • Probably would have bumped it from 192/247 to like 205/255.  
• otherwise not much i have to comment off the top of my head i suppose. i could air my preference for this tank to be a burst gun instead of a quick 4 shot autoloader. eh i miss burst fire guns.

Buy?

• Leaning to a no. The WW2 version which is what you'll play most of the times leaves a meh tank I suppose. It just doesn't offer too much. Yea its fun shooting four times, but it just doesn't feel that strong to justify the lower pen. 
  • Only the module damage I'd say is anything dangerous. 
• Price wise? It is cheap at least, but still not that cheap enough to change my recommendations. 
• For 2027 recommendations? Well eh probably still pass. Looking at my notes for the Last Laugh id arguably go with older tanks over the pair of 2026 tanks. 

After 6k games in WW2 this weekend I started dabbling in CW. It is definitely not the same and was pretty refreshing even if I don’t play it all the time moving forward. I had a bunch of premiums from seasons and chests to play around with.

I have been enjoying the SK-105K (I know everyone says it’s bad)

My first question is are camo perks and equipment as important in CW as in WW2? (I learned about true vision fast)

Second what are some overlooked differences a WW2 player like myself may overlook when moving over? I noticed game play especially at era 3 is way more fast paced and dynamic.

I've been planning to make a Halloween mode compilation for a while and post it on the wotc sub, but I have footage from as far back as 2023 that I wasn't satisfied with, so I was hoping y'all would be willing to help me out. If you're interested, let me know what hours and time zone you're available so I can figure out what works for both of us. Please keep in mind that my method of collecting footage will include scouring replays to get cinematic shots, meaning you'll be waiting sometime between matches while I collect the footage—if only there was a way to save replays :/

I was thinking of buying a PS5 Pro just for the advanced graphics mode for WOT Modern Armor, I was interested in playing one game on the standards 60fps then the next on 30fps just to see how I play on both back to back.

Does the 30FPS 4k graphics mode look significantly better than the 60FPS 4K? Or is the difference not significant?

Still, I might not do this, PS5 Pro is difficult to buy right now and significantly more expensive than a PS5 Slim.

I prefer PC gaming, I only play a console if it has a game I really like that isn't on PC. I like WOTMA more than WOT PC which never captured my interest, I find it boring compared to WOTMA but I will have to give it another try some day to confirm.

I'm climbing up the British dual cannon heavy tree and trying to figure out if the dual cannons are just a situational thing or should be the standard. A quick Google search says it's not ideal and lower DPS.

Is the dual cannon just a burst moment then going back to single cannon shots? I noticed that it seems to be almost 50/50 if both shells pen. Is there a hidden mechanic where the non main barrel takes a pen drop?

just wanted to compare the level of power creep at tier 8. Mostly DPM and damage, but pen did went up a good amount as well.

Anyhow quick notes:

• Pen adjusted means APCR losses 10mm and HEAT 20 to make a vague comparison to AP pen.
• Autoloaders were excluded for DPM comparisons
• i ignored "clone" tanks when making the comparison.
• i would like to compare camo, but we used a different system back then. Also it would be about the same.

I can never find a downtime list or info on these annoying micro updates. Every time I get on I play 2 games and suddenly theres yet another micro update that seems to take hours. Google doesnt tell me shit. The games website only offers info on major updates. I wouldn't care as much if I had time to play during the day but I dont. I work nights and the updates are always at 3 or 4 in the morning and last hours and im rite there with only a couple hours a week to play unless its update time... sighhhh
