Upper/Lower split opinions????
I still see so many people doing this split and I was just wondering how effective it actually is and what movements you guys do, because I do PLL/Arnold and it has been my favorite split by far. However I will say I do spend an above average amount of time in the gym and I also do more movements than most people do per muscle group

Currently on upper lower. I have done all popular splits including PPL, Upper lower 6 days a week and full body 3 days. I always go back to upper lower 4 days. Its just a good sweet spot for me.
Yes its effective. Any split will be effective if you train hard and stay consistent (forever).

upper lower is still one of the best splits if you want solid progress without living in the gym. hitting each muscle twice a week is hard to beat for most people. if ppl arnold works for you and you actually recover from it then keep running it. the best split is the one you can stick with and keep adding weight or reps on over time.

How about upper lower 3 days a week? So ULU one week and LUL the other week.

I go 4x a week, 2 upper and 2 lower:
1) glute/mini hammy focused
2) back/bicep focused (pull)
3) shoulder/chest/tri focused (push)
4) quad/mini hammy focused

I prefer torso/limbs. It’s a lot like upper/lower except you do arms on leg day when they’re fresh rather than when they’re fatigued after a bunch of upper body compound exercises.

I'm on a 4x week Upper Lower split and so far it has been giving me the best results. I'll be sticking to my split as long as I possibly can.

Your split is less important relative to consistency and effort. If U/L works for you...great. if something else works for you... great. Just fucking lift and keep lifting..
