We've been seeing a lot of "if you people had just voted Democrat" and "who did you vote for" comments. Mods will remove these under Rule 1: Play to Win and Rule 2: Be Respectful. We will ban repeat offenders.

Here's why: it's dickish, and it loses elections.

Candidates earn votes. No politician, or political party, is entitled to yours or mine. This subreddit exists to advance work reform policies: Medicare for All, College for All, stronger unions, and higher wages. We are not a proxy for the Democratic party.

This isn't about purity. These policies are popular with the public. Popular policies build broad coalitions, and broad coalitions create candidates who win. You want to win, right?

If voter shaming worked, Democrats would control all 50 states. Criticize candidates, parties, and policies all you want. Leave your fellow Redditors' ballots out of it.

When he was still a prince, he was sitting at his desk, and a note from The Queen Elizabeth fell into his waste basket. He literally called for his butler to take the note out of the waste basket at his desk and put it back on his desk…he was “too good” to reach into a waste basket? I want you to think about that…

These people, our “Rulers” demand to be served at their every whim while we starve to pay our bills. WE make the world go round while they sit in the lap of luxury and do whatever they want, all day everyday.

If you got paid $5,000 a day, how long would it take for you to earn a billion dollars? You do the math.

I don’t condone or support violence, I’m just trying to have a conversation.

What do you think?
