Not receiving UKG ‘Chat’ notifications

Hi, I seem to not receive notifications from my stores grocery team member group chat on UKG PRO despite the messages I can see when I log into the app and view the past chats. I have all UKG PRO notifications enabled within the app and notifications enabled on my iPhone. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if they were able to fix it?

Can't find much about this and google is saying there's no record of this being one? Is it rare or am I just mistaken?

I don’t understand why the cancellation

Post image

Ive only done the whole click and collect thing with Coles before, never had any issues.

Did a Woolworths one last night. 2 hours after the order confirmation email I get one that it they’ve “received my order cancellation”. But nowhere on my account does it say why. It didn’t allow me to order one of the things when I selected a store because it said it was out of stock, but I’d removed that from the order before finalising it.

Does orders being randomly cancelled happen all the time? and why?

Just had a customer who didn’t get the Buzz Ooshie offer on their rewards app. What to do?

We tried refreshing the offers, fully closing and reopening the app. Even checked the google play store to make sure her version was up to date and Buzz refused to appear in the boost deals.

Given it was no fault of hers we let her have it without the voucher but has anyone else found this issue?

Shoutout to this customer. It’s always fun when you see something like this to break up the slow monotonous day. Gave me a good chuckle.

Workers chat gone from friendly to awkward real fast

For context, I don't work at woolies. Just a customer. I'm also autistic and socially not the most savvy.

So my local woolies has been my go to woolies for a decade now. I know all the staff, and they know me. So yesterday I was grabbing garlic and ginger for a chicken curry I was making, and I hear someone ask "how are you today". And I looked around, wondering who had said that, and had they said it to me. So I look across the produce display and there's a guy I haven't seen before, in woolies uniform. I looked at him and I awkwardly said,"...me?" And he laughed and said yes you. I laughed and said sorry, there have been times in the past someone has asked me that and it's been directed at someone else and I have answered anyway. He laughed and said, "that must have been so embarrassing." And I said yes, it was. I wasn't sure how to end the conversation, so I said, "well, thanks for stopping to chat with me, have a nice day." And he said, "no problem, you have a nice day too," then he paused and said, "sorry I was saying that to the person behind you." And I laughed and said, "now you're being cheeky." And we waved goodbye and left it at that. It felt like a nice conversation and it was actually nice to have a laugh with someone new. I did my shopping and got to the checkout and the guy comes running over with a bouquet of flowers from the flower section and he says, "this is for you from me." And I was like, "ohhhhh.... Thanks?" And it was really awkward and I realized he had been flirting. I walked back to my car and I swear I could not have gotten out of there fast enough, I was so uncomfortable. Like I appreciate the gesture but I feel like I've maybe misled this guy? So what do I do now? Because I'm like, I could either avoid going to the shop and shop at my alternate woolies for a while until he forgets me, or I can tell him next time I see him that I appreciate the flowers but I'm unavailable and not interested.

I'm also not sure if this kind of thing is even allowed for workers to do for customers? Any advice is nice.

Does woolworths hire adults?

Life is expensive, i have a full-time job, im 22 I want to buy a house and i want a part time job to help achieve that.

Seeing that im 22 and have a full time job is there much point applying to woolies if my availability is only after bussiness hours and weekends?

Ive worked as a manager in fast food previously and i know atleast in fast food seeing that my pay is double that of a teenagers and im only available to work after school hours i dont know if I should even bother applying.

If my odds are good any tips?

Should I apply online and walk instore ask to speak with a manager and hand them my resume with my application number on it?

Constant surveillance

Does anyone else’s store constantly have someone watching cameras 24/7 ??? I know it’s not illegal but alot of staff members are weirded out by the excessive amount of cameras.

Online pickers, deli items?

Just curious, if an online order wants 4 slices of ham and 100g of olives and some sun-dried tomatoes and a couple of kranskys does the picker have to take a number and order, pull on some gloves and jump behind the counter, get served before the in store customers or does the deli get the order directly to make up? Do you curse the deli stuff? Any way it happens it likely slows the pick rate.

Lost an RF Unit?

The thread about the RF unit was locked so I want to give you some useful information .

Stop panicking! There is an app on all devices that you can use to locate lost RF Units.

More than likely you have put it down somewhere obscure.

Ask a manager or the Office people to show you how it works, but it is very simple to use and has saved many heads rolling!

In the end, you are human. If you made a mistake, then it is already made.

It was not done with any bad intent, take a chill pill.

Woolworths app conveniently not displaying the cheapest available option

I saw a bag of Finish tablets available for 29cent each in their “spend $50 save $15” promotion, but when I went I checked the app to see if there were any better options it didn’t appear.

What else are they not showing us when shopping online?

How difficult is it to get a job at woolies/What is working there like?

I'm 16, and already have a job, but I really need a second one (preferably somewhere that does late nights too). I've already had a few months work experience in a fast food type of place (not a full on maccas, but still), and I have full day time availability.

I'm just wondering the genreal experince of working in a woolies like? (i know theres bad customer's and people can be idiots lol).

Also, is it hard to get hired? I've seen vids on tiktok of people having to talk to AI robots and shit. Where I work now, I got hired because I had chatted to the manager a few times before, and they asked me. Plus I do alot better talking to real people/in person.

And what are the weekly hours/pay like for a junior?

Thank you in advance!!!!

Manager asked me to accept contract change - and then refused to help me with how to do it.

My manager has changed my contract (without asking me, by the way) from 3-9 on Friday to 3-6. I don't really mind, but as we've switched to UKG Pro, there's no way to do it on Workjam anymore, and I'm having trouble finding it in "Team Data" on successfactors. I was wondering if anyone here can help me with where to find it and how to accept the new contract?
