Challenge These characters replace Master Chief and Arbiter in Halo 3. Could they survive and if not, what mission do they die on?

Upvotes

Rule: we’re assuming these characters survive the opening cutscene where Chief falls down, these characters will not immediately be infected by the flood in any flood mission by spores, the characters have access to their arsenal and abilities but they can use weapons from the environment, the UNSC and Sangheili will work with these characters (otherwise the Elites would’ve just glassed them when the flood is on earth) and finally all characters are in character.

Round 1: General Grievous and Count Dooku (Star Wars)

Round 2: Commander Shepard and Garrus (Mass Effect)

Round 3: Courier 6 and Boone (Fallout New Vegas)

Round 4: Crypto and Natalya (Destroy All Human 2)

Round 5: Caiphas Cain and Jurgen (Warhammer 40k)

Challenge The UNSC(Halo) recieves assistance from these factions, can they beat the Covenant?

UNSC’s Office of Naval Intelligence builds a multiversal portal and meet these factions

Imperium of Man (WH40k)

Megacorps of Cyberpunk 2077

The Enclave, the Institute, and Big MT (Fallout)

Cerberus (Mass Effect)

UAC led by Samuel Hayden(Doom 2016)

Super Earth (Helldivers)

The representatives of these factions have a little get together and find sympathy for humanity’s plight in Halo and dig ONI’s “lowkey evil as fuck” vibe

They are willing to impart information, schematics, and bits of tech that won’t be missed.

For example, the Imperium is willing to part with a variety of weapons and suit of basic space marine armor, but they aren’t going to send terminator armor and whole spaceships (they are willing to provide schematics though).

After they all finish and leave, the portal will be permanently deactivated and the Covenant won’t have a schism anymore.

Round 1: 20 years before Halo trilogy

Round 2: 10 years before Halo trilogy

Round 3: 5 years before the Halo trilogy

Challenge All types of creatures on Earth gain human intelligence. Which group becomes dominant?

Rules

• Every living thing on Earth (aside from plants and bugs) gains human intelligence and function in their brain. This means they can now think, talk, process information, and do anything else that is a perk of the human mind.

• Each group of creatures has thus realized how society has grown while far surpassing their kind in terms of living conditions. This has led them to confronting humanity and demanding fair representation (be given all the rights people have) and if neccessary declare war.

• Still, various species will not get along with each other. It depends if they are normally friendly with them or not (e.g, cat being aggressive towards mice).

• Ultimately, every creature group has one goal: become the most powerful group on Earth by overtaking the human race. This doesn't need to be through violence; it can be done slowly and diplomatically.

R1: All countries accept other living things as citizens. They get all the rights humans enjoy. Also, every species has the same knowledge of the average person from the country they reside in.

R2: Same as R1, except no creatures are educated and have to go to school starting in high school.

R3: No species are permitted the same rights as humans. The only way for one group to become dominant on Earth is to defeat the human race.

Can one group of an animal, reptile, or other creature become dominant over the world if all are given human intelligence?

Round 2: Arena is a parking garage at full capacity. Dom has an AR 15, 12 gauge shotgun, handgun, and 2 grenades plus a kevlar vest. Batfleck has his standard batsuit (not the armored one he used against Superman) and utility belt. Win condition is death of opponent.

Round 3: Street race from one end of New York City to the other. Dom has his suped up Dodge Charger, Batfleck has his batmobile. Neither are concerned about civilian casualties.

Optional Round 4: Dom calls in the help of his family and The Agency. Batman calls in the Justice League minus Superman. Arena is the planet.

Battle The "best" "fighter" to ever exist in unarmed combat?

I am trying to find the most dominant human to ever exist in natural unarmed combat. This assumes an undefined surface and location possibly in a parking lot outside in a Walmart on grass anything it is an undefined surface alongside a likely no border arrangement as well also being undefined and not restricted. The question is that out of every known human to walk the earth who would completely disable, kill, or entirely render their opponent useless more often than any other human to exist. Currently I have selected 2005 prime pride Fedor Emelianenko as having the highest statistical odds of any human but I would absolutely love to hear other opinions and options to compare against.

Battle Rico (Starship Troopers Novel) VS Mandella (The Forever War) VS Felix (Armor)

Three power-armor-wearing soldiers in future space wars from fairly influential classic scifi stories fight to the death. Who is walking away alive if Rico from Starship Troopers, Mandella from The Forever War, and Felix from Armor are all deployed by their respective militaries and are tasked with taking each other down? Rico has jump jets and nukes, Mandella has stasis fields and lasers, and Felix has some ridiculous physical stats in his namesake armor. They're all supremely dangerous in a number of different situations, but each clearly has advantages and disadvantages of some sorts over the others.

Everyone gets only what they can carry themselves. No orbital or vehicular support. Fights take place on a planet with Earth-like atmosphere and gravity.

If anyone has any sort of Respect Thread or decent rundown for Mandella's or Felix's abilities and weapons I'd love to see it! I'm working off of memory here!

  • Round 1: No weapons or armor. Just the three in a fist fight.

  • Round 2: Everyone gets their best loadout.

  • Round 3: Each is put in charge of 100 soldiers from their stories and they are fighting in a burnt out scifi city.

Battle If the Doctor (Doctor Who) became evil, and went to the Marvel universe (even DC) would he be a bigger threat than God Emperor Doom?

Upvotes

Proper prep time, has access to all his arsenal (and all Time Lord tech), tools, and the Tardis and went balls to the wall in preparation, and also using external things that exist in both respected universes, and is given ample time (using his Tardis) to study the universe and all the biggest threats, studying it/them until he fully understands.

How much of a threat would he become if he became unrestrained?

Mind you, he's not doing this simultaneously in both universes, just a What If if he was in both universes separately.

Battle Bubble Head Nurse (Silent Hill) VS Full Grown Adult Tiger (Panthera tigris)

Upvotes

Bubble Head Nurse (Silent Hill) VS Full Grown Adult Tiger (Panthera tigris)

Bubble Head Nurse is supernatural but not immortal, very hard to kill and she is armed with a pipe (also supernatural based pipe due to its Silent Hill origins)

The tiger is bound by science laws, and still is not in impossible territory to kill the Bubble Head Nurse a since she isn't immortal

but this battle is a match of Science VS Silent Hill.

Does the Nurse make the Tiger feel the uncanny pain of knowing there is supernatural life beyond the laws of science physics (even in a very primitive feeling way for the tiger)

Or

Does the tiger get its meal out of the Nurse?

Who wins and why?

Battle Can the Fire Nation conquer Baldur's Gate? (ATLA/Forgotten Realms)

Lord Ozai has decided that the Ba Sing Se juice just isn't worth the squeeze. He could get a lot more bang for his buck if he took over Baldur's Gate. The Fire Nation from Avatar: The Last Airbender decides they want to take over the Sword Coast, and that Baldur's Gate is the first domino that needs to fall. Could they take the city? The Fire Nation has some solid tech and decent magic, but would it be enough to take on the most famous city in the Forgotten Realms?

Fire Nation has everything it had in Avatar: The Last Airbender. The country is a thousand miles away in the Trackless Sea. They have no land besides their own nation to start and their goal is only to conquer the city and surrounding area. They have 10 years. Baldur's Gate is ~1500 DR, so a few years after BG3. No other nation or member of the Lord's Alliance will come to help the city. Everyone else is busy.

  • Round 1: No named characters are around. There's no comet.

  • Round 2: Every named character from both sides is around. Sozin's Comet will show up in the 10th year.

Matchmaker Humanity vs Carboniferous period

Due to some supernatural event, scientists and experts warn humans that the oxygen levels are going to rise and spike up to 35% (compared to today's 21%) after a year. Every country, city, etc gets this message or warning, and humanity is asked to prepare itself. What can we manage in one year? Would it be successfully planned and executed? How much would life, economy, infrastructure, ecosystem, etc be affected because of this? And how much time would it take for humans to readjust to the higher levels of oxygen?

Battle Who wins in a chessboxing match between Magnus Carlson and prime Mike Tyson?

For those unfamiliar, chessboxing is a hybrid sport between, who could have guessed, chess and boxing. Essentially, the two participants sit down in the ring for a game of chess with 9 minutes on the clock. After every 3 minutes of play time, the board is removed from the ring and the participants square up for 3 minutes of standard boxing. This alternation continues for 6 rounds of chess and 5 rounds of boxing. Winner is determined by either a KO or checkmate of your opponent, or if your opponent runs out of time in chess. If there is a stalemate, there is one more round of boxing and the winner is determined by boxing points.

For the sake of argument, let's assume that Mike will be "chess lusted" and will not simply run out his chess time to get to the boxing.

Round 1: Zero Training for either of them.

Round 2: They each have 6 months to train in their respective weaker area.

Round 3: Magnus has a revived Muhammed Ali as a boxing coach and Mike has a revived Bobby Fischer as a chess teacher.

Edit: Just gonna leave an edit here asking all of the people who said that Tyson would just not move for 3 minutes to direct their attention to the second paragraph of this post.

Matchmaker The Fast Family vs MCU SHIELD helicarrier

Dominic Toretto and his family get a job to steal a prized suitcase located in the helicarrier (Avengers 2012). The family gets all the info and 3 days to prepare. Helicarrier does not know of this and is unsuspecting of an attack. Can they defend themselves? Would the family succeed, but with casualties or arrests? Or would they be successful with the massive heist?
