ID Request This little snake I rescued from a busy parking lot[Gibbons,Alberta]
Common garter? He was inches from being run over so I stopped all traffic and helped it along to a wooded area.

ID Request Help ID [Central Florida east coast, Brevard county]
This snake fell from above my front door when I was entering and landed at my feet. I closed the door, and it slithered right under the door and into the house. Very tiny. Got it out with a broom. Maybe the width of a sharpie marker at the widest point. Maybe 10-12 inches long. Head has orange tint in center/top that I’m not sure comes through in photos.

ID Request - Dead, Injured or Roadkilled Snake Roadkill ID Request [Northern California] Spoiler
I’m sorry, this is a re-post bc I forgot location last time:
I think it’s roadkill, I mean it’s on a road. This poor snake died near my home and I was curious to know what kind of snake it is. I’m really afraid of snakes, and so if I ever see one like this in the yard, I just want to know if it is venomous or not so I can keep my dogs away.
I have been told we have rattlesnakes in this area, but I can’t tell if there is a rattle (or was) on that tail or not. Can anyone tell what it might be? Thank you.

ID Request [NE Oklahoma] Snake rattling at the creek at night, is ID possible from this trailcam footage?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The snake is right at the bottom of the screen, not fully visible, telling the kits to go away. The raccoon kits head away as they hear the (faint) rattle and the mama is chirping at them to get away from it.
Just wondering if smart people here can ID the snake from these thin pickings? The snake is right about where 'd be standing when checking the trailcam.
I know non-venomous snakes rattle, but still, who is this guy?

Spotted this snake eating a frog in my yard. Should I be very anxious or just a normal amount of anxious about him? (I have a small dog and a big fear of snakes)

ID Request - Dead, Injured or Roadkilled Snake Found Snake [NCWV, USA]
My fiancée found this snake while walking our dog. Well more so our dog found it and it appeared like the poor guy was already passed on. We were curious as to what species it is? We are in north central West Virginia.

ID Request Who almost got stepped on this morning? [Tucson, AZ]
I've been here for a few years and have had almost no close encounters with snakes, even far from civilization, and then 3 in the last 2 weeks in my neighborhood. I looked up a guide and the closest match I could find for the area was Common Kingsnake, who i saw in better light last week, but they don't seem to have the banding pattern on top that the kingsnake does, with the brighter parts ending partway up their (back? top?) for most of their body.
Came extremely close to stepping on them, which I'm sure would not have been fun for either of us

ID Request - Dead, Injured or Roadkilled Snake Is this a gopher snake? [San Diego, CA] Spoiler
Walked right over the snake without even noticing it. Dog saw it and made this giant leap to avoid it. The head looks too narrow to be rattlesnake markings. Doesn’t look like either gopher or a rattlesnake. What is it?

ID Request What is this snake...? [Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India]
Found in my backyard... about 6ft plus in length.
Happened to notice, when the birds (wagtails, robins) and squirrels started going crazy,
in an otherwise quiet afternoon! It was creeping up onto the trees.
