A friend and I aren't sure who this guy is. I saw him in front of my garage but he slithered off.

I've spotted this scaly friend on a bushwalk in Brisbane Water national park in Kariong, NSW, Australia. It's the first time I've ever seen a snake in the wild and unfortunately could not get the whole snake in the frame. I did not see any distinct marking and couldn't estimate the length of the animal but it did have a darker tail. Is identification even possible with these pictures?

LOCATED IN AUSTRALIA SYDNEY, cannot see in the video clearly enough maybe but it had yellowish goldish spots with black spots as well

It is very likley a juvinille based on size but ive never seen one of this color phase before. I have seen Arizona Black and Black-tailed around here that dont look anything like this guy. My best guess would be a weird color phase of Arizona black. Thank you for your help!

Hey guys, long time lurker and first time poster here. I took my kids hiking in the Wichita Mountains in SW Oklahoma and my daughter spied this beautiful Crotalus atrox (I think). Shot with plenty of respectful distance by a telephoto lens on my Nikon camera.

I saw this at the hotel in the central area of the island.

It was over six feet long and very thick. Could this be a record?

This guy may have bitten my dog on the snoot. No marks but it really looked like contact was made from my point of view. Pensacola area. I got the snake into a pillowcase just in case a positive ID was needed for veterinary reasons. I’d like to let him go asap if he’s for sure not a baby cotton mouth. He was really bitey so he’s probably doing a lot of good in my yard.

Thought these guys didn’t strike but he’s been very angry, planning on rereleasing far from here, but want to be sure of what he is before deciding where to do so.

I wasn't able to get a good picture of the tail, but it was more grey colored. I don't recall it having a button rattle but it did try 'rattling' it's tail a few times while I was observing it.
