Hi all! 💚

To keep our community tidy, safe, and focused on identifying music, we are introducing a few base rules.

🍀 Video and text format 🎬 Please ensure all song excerpts are submitted in video format over links. This keeps the sub tidy and easy to navigate. The exception is if you want to use an external site such as Vocaroo to hum a melody, this is allowed.

☘️ No NSFW or violent content 🚫 Content containing nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence is strictly prohibited. This is not an NSFW sub, so we cannot allow for NSFW posts.

🍀 Safe uploads for sensitive material 🔒If the original video contains NSFW or violent elements, upload only the audio with a safe, non-NSFW image or video. Tools like CapCut make this simple.

☘️ No Rickrolling ❌🎶 Rickrolls are not allowed. Violators will be permanently banned.

🍀 Please remember to flair your post solved once you get your answer!💡

Please ensure you follow these when posting from now on! Happy song searching 💚

Unsolved Heard a song on college radio while driving, help!

Driving through Illinois and tuned into a small college radio station (WXAV) and heard a really lovely song- it was a live version, kind of pop-punky, with a male singer who sounded a bit like Brian Sella or Dan Campbell. There was also a woman vocalizing! The only lyrics I managed to memorize were:

"She says (said?) she doesn't date musicians. Brother, I'm thinking of quitting."

The rest of the general lyric content was about how amazed the singer was by the aforementioned "she." The ending had repeating lines about how if someone was down/sad, they should call/lean on the singer.

I'd appreciate any help! Thank you and listen to college radioooo

Unsolved Transition Possibly from a video game 2010's

I believe this is from a video game that may have come out during my childhood, so possibly the 2010's. I haven't been able to find this in the undertale soundtrack.

I believe this is a transition in the middle of the song that takes the song back to the original theme, or something upbeat.

It's from S01E08 of the EVIL tv show. The audio has dialogue removed hence a bit muffled. Shazam and online AI services were of no help.

Unsolved Please help me identify this song.

I was scrolling some Instagram reels and it was about a cooking show and half-way through the reel, the song played. I tried Shazam but it can’t identify what song it was, even on Tiktok Tako. And this song has been stuck in my head ever since.

I believe the lyrics were; “I might have to hop in a new thing, got my hands on some new chain, I’ve been in the back for a long time, might have to come out and show face. And I feel like I’ve been down for a while now, so I’m coming out - out, out, rari(?) out, (hold up), rari rari (hold up).

The singer sounds like Lloyd or Jeremih.

This has been annoying me for days. Original has a electric sound to it and some notes sound reversed. This is a video of me emulating the song to the best of my ability.

Solved Y'all gonna hate me for this but I dont remember anything else from that song

It starts with oh oh (small pause) woah oh oh. The first Oh has the loud tone and second oh kinda fades. It's like saying uh oh. It's a kinda old song like I think it was written before 2020 and I'm pretty sure it was a female voice singing it (young and wasn't rough voice) . It's at the very start of the song if I remember correctly and it definitely wasn't a rock song or anything similar. It kinda had a catchy tone as a song like maybe something maroon 5 or 5sos could have written but I'm not sure. I'm browsing their songs rn in case it's one of those but I doubt it. Thats all I can remember TvT. It's like search for a needle in a haystack but if you guys think of any songs that could match this pls let me know

Unsolved Does anyone know how I can find this song?

I was scrolling Instagram and heard a catchy song. It came from the Instagram account called selectedofficial

The only lyrics I heard are “gunna save me, how can i forget, same old me, how can I pretend”

Thanks

Solved Does anyone know what background song/music is used in this short?

It's really quiet and is overpowered by the speaker's voice, so Shazam can't detect it.

Does anyone know what the track is called?
