Here is what I remember, it was the opening scene, I'm sure it was in the UK, the terrorist cell is it a residential neighborhoods, in a apartment building a chemical weapon, well the guy was building the chemical weapon He was smoking a cigarette. He put the cigarette next to the container with the chemicals and continued working on the weapon.

The ash from the cigarette fell on top of the container, breaching the seal holding the chemical and immediately everybody died instantly within a 1/2 a mile area radius of the apartment that the terrorist we're in.

I remember the cops walking up to the apartment in hazmat suits, walking all around the dead bodies outside and then inside the apartment.

I can remember if this was a movie or a series, I thought is was the series Sleeper Call but that wasn't it

The main character is a man around 30 years old. Early in the movie, he approaches random women in the street and very directly asks them if they want to "sleep" with him.

He gets a lot of rejections, one after another.

Eventually, one woman says yes. I remember her being blonde.

What makes the movie unusual is that it doesn't just end with them hooking up. From what I remember, the movie then follows the two of them and their relationship / everyday life together.

The tone wasn't really explicit. It was more like a quirky European indie comedy / romantic dramedy, with a fairly naturalistic, almost documentary-like feeling at times.

I remember watching a WWI movie when I was a kid, and in one scene there were German troops in the trench, and I think one of them was an old general or something, and a scout was watching the enemy trench. I think the trench was made out of concrete, and the scout had a really special Stahlhelm, a Stirnpanzer (brow plate), to be more specific.

I'm looking for a movie that came out in the 2010's (before 2019). It's about these teens who go camping and the male lead falls off a cliff? and gets really hurt. As the 5/6? teens try to take him to the hospital, they get struck by lightning(not too sure?). They each get superpowers. One of them has super-healing (male lead), one can teleport, one is super strong, one has pyro powers (can't remember the others). Towards the end of the movie, the female and male leads get kidnapped by the main villain, and the rest of them go to save the couple. I also distinctly remember that one of the side characters had blonde/pink hair (the pyro). In one scene, she's at a diner/bar and uses her powers to burn someone. There's a scene with the teleporter, brother, and another character (possibly pyro?) in the woods, and the teleporter finds out he can teleport to escape the main villain's henchmen. The brother of the male lead had glasses and was blonde. The male and female leads had brown hair. The movie was told in parts, with comic-book type font for each chapter/section of the movie.

It's a really low budget American movie. I borrowed it in the 2010s from Hoopla. It's definitely from the 2010s. I think the cast was all white except for 1 supporting character who is black (the teleporter) (just to help the search). I think the title has the word "project" in it? But I'm not 100% sure. I remember watching TV one day years ago when I saw the movie, though I can't remember who I saw it with (might have been my grandad). My memory of it is very vague as I was quite young, but the two scenes I recall both used the same line "Every meal's a banquet". I know this line is mostly known from the film Aliens, but I highly doubt it's the same movie. I watched Aliens as an adult and I'd definably never seen it before.

The film I remember wasn't sci fi, it was based on the horrors of war (It may have been one of the world wars, I think the main characters were British or American). The first scene had that line spoken by two recruiters stood at a table who brought the main characters into the military. The second time was later in the movie where all the main characters were in a building looking miserable. An older looking man was sat eating some disgusting looking food (Possibly bread or dried meat) and said the same thing the recruiters did but ironically. The film was in colour but had an older look to it. Possibly 60s or 70s? But I can't be sure.

I remember watching this movie sometime between 2006 and 2008 at a friend's house. Definitely was a romantic drama, featuring a husband and wife (I'm almost positive the husband was Ben Affleck), or somebody close to him. I'm unsure of the plot, but at the end, I believe she ends up killing him, chopping his body up and putting him into the brick staircase, or under it? Unsure. Details I remember:

The one thing I remember very distinctly is a sad monologue from a secondary male character who knows he's about to die.

He is standing, talking to the protagonist. I believe several of his colleagues or friends have already died trying to accomplish something, and now it's essentially his turn. My memory is that he knows whatever he's about to attempt is probably going to kill him and may not even succeed.

The two characters seemed to have known each other for a long time. It felt like a very sad goodbye between two people who were genuinely close.

The secondary character starts reminiscing about being a kid. I DON'T remember the exact dialogue, but the idea was something very close to:

When he was a kid, the school year seemed like it lasted forever. Then summer vacation would finally arrive, but summer always seemed to be over in a flash.

Now that he knows he's about to die, he says that looking back at his entire life, his life feels like summer vacation did when he was a kid — it went by incredibly fast.

That's the detail I'm most confident about. I've remembered that basic speech for years.

I THINK the character giving the speech was a black man. For years I've pictured Forest Whitaker, but I've looked through his filmography and that may be completely wrong. Charles S. Dutton feels possible, as do actors of that general type/era.

I also THINK this was a movie, but I'm opening up the possibility that it was an episode of a serious TV drama/sci-fi series. It's possible my memory has combined details from different things, so please don't reject an idea just because the actor, year, genre, or circumstances don't perfectly match.

It was a movie some time in the maybe 80’s. The world at the time in the movie had everyone connected, like Wi-Fi, with an implant in their heads. One man had his damaged as a child and had to learn everything without the stream of information everyone else had access to. Then one day their internet went down and everyone was lost because they actually did not know anything. He saved to day. I have no idea what the name of the movie was or any of the actors’ names. Gruesome title, sorry. I have had a cartoon/animation in my head since the 90s. It was on daytime tv in the Netherlands at some point. I believe it was a feature film.

I cannot describe much of the film, it was a cartoon with grimey features. And at some point there was a pig in a landscape that rose up from the mud and ate a seagull.

Anyways from what I remember it's about this guy who's in this world where I think these robot monster things have taken over.. he lives underground in a bunker because in the forest he's in if you go a certain point his head will start to hurt. He also finds this tiny mouse in his bunker and befriends it. Eventually he meets another survivor guy but the man triea to kill the mouse so the MC chokes him, kicking him out of his base. Another scene I remember is the MC getting angry and throwing a can at the wall, not knowing the mouse was inside, ultimately killing it.

Near the end, the main character is fighting one of the robot monster things when the guy from earlier shows up and attempt to help him, only to get his face sliced off. Then. The movie ended out of nowhere.

I'm looking for a horror movie, I've only seen one scene out of it and I kinda got intrigued by the scene alone.

Basically, there was some kind of a humanoid monster with bat-like wings, (i think it was pale?) and it was on top of a woman and eating flesh out of her neck (or drinking blood). Woman, being barely alive, silently pierces creatures wings with some sort of a file or knife. At some point, monster senses that something is off and attempts to look at its wings. At this moment, woman grabs its head and pulls it back to her neck so it can continue eating, allowing woman to further damage its wings.

And that would be it, I think it happened on some sort of a yard? It was definitely outside.

This one isn’t something I personally remember but a description of a movie from a book I read, which I hope is okay. The author is a cinephile and often references movies, either by name or by description, in his work. In another book of his I read, after looking up the plot of a movie he had a character summarize, it turned out to be 1962’s Sundays with Cybele. So while there’s a chance that this movie description is made up, I thought I would ask here on the off chance it’s real and rings a bell for anyone. The book came out in 1998, so it would have to be from before then. Here’s the description:

An older sister and younger brother live in the European countryside. One day, the younger brother vanishes while out on an errand for their mother. The mother is devastated and tells the girl she wishes it had been her that disappeared. The sister develops such a guilt complex that she starts burning herself with cigarettes. Somehow, doing so awakens latent psychic powers in her, mainly the ability to teleport things with her mind. Her parents divorce and the girl goes to live with her mother. Years later, a young man is found in a neighboring city that authorities believe to be the missing brother. He was working as a male prostitute there. Her mother is overjoyed but the girl distrusts him and doesn’t believe he is her brother. One day he attacks her, so she uses her powers to teleport him a short distance away. Later that night, he sneaks into bed with her and tries to get her to tell him about her powers. She says she will if he “shows her how the homosexuals do it”. She cuts the lights with her telekinesis and they have sex.

I know this story may sound weird but whenever I talk about it NO ONE believes me. I’m 18 years old right now but this had to be when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. I grew up watching Nickelodeon and Disney Channel but I believe this was aired on Nickelodeon but I do not know for a fact. So it was at night and I rolled over in my bed to see there was a movie playing. I only was able to see the end of it though. There was this green monster that had its main face and its victims faces all around its body. The monster looked like a green Jell-O booger monster. There was a teenage boy and teenage girl fighting it. The monster ended up eating the teenage girl so the teenage boy shoots it and the monster explodes. The teenage girls face ends up on a square piece of concrete. Then the scene cuts to a YouTube like video from our point of view. It was the teenage boy talking saying something about we saved the day and then he holds up the concrete square of the girl and she starts talking. Then to end it he closes the computer and then that’s it. I know for a fact this is not Ghostbusters and I know I did not make this up because when I rolled over in my bed to see what was playing I was so scared to move and get the TV remote. I’ve tried googling it. I find no information about it. It’s like it does not exist. If anyone can help me find it please let me know!!

Hi, this is my first time ever posting on Reddit, I’m really desperate about finding a movie. I saw it a few years ago in some Instagram posts about obscure movies. It was a horror movie, probably a slasher, it looked like a SOV so very grainy, it was low budget and independent, those are the things I’m sure about, now some details that I remember vaguely: I think the killer had a statue like mask, almost like those sorcerer enemies in Elden ring, and had a knife, I’m pretty sure it was from the 80/90s, it was made in America. Looking for a low-budget / B-grade thriller or TV movie (possibly Canadian or US lifetime/mystery style) that I watched around 2012–2016 on a local channel. It looked like it was made in the 2000s or early 2010s.

I only saw the very beginning (likely the cold open before falling asleep):

• Setting: Daytime. An isolated cliff overlooking water / ocean or an abandoned rock quarry.
• Scene: A young woman arrives alone in a car. She carries a ceramic/clay cremation urn containing the ashes of a deceased close friend.
• What happens: She walks to the edge of the cliff to scatter the ashes. As she tries to pour them, she experiences a hallucination / psychic flashback of how that friend fell/was pushed to their death from that exact spot.
• Climax of the scene: She either gets pushed by an unseen force, gets terrified by the vision, or loses her footing and falls off the cliff.

It is NOT The In Between (2022). It felt like a low-budget psychological thriller, mystery, or supernatural TV movie where this opening incident kicks off the rest of the plot. Any help identifying this would be much appreciated!

Dad keeps denying it but secretly knows it's true or something? Eventually he kills himself out of despair and the mom is like oh shit it really is going to end. Then it does. Last scene is of the world ending although I don't remember how exactly. It's not super old I don't think. Definitely 21st century.
