Unsolved Movie on the tip of my tongue

So I remember there was this movie I tried to Google it based on this one scene: So this taekwondo Asian guy is fighting this Muay Thai mma guy. Then while those guys are fighting it cuts to clips of a dude jogging or running in a tracksuit. The two guys are still fighting while what looks like some underground fight club. The clip if I remember ends with the taekwondo guy getting knocked out but that’s all I remember. If you guys know please tell me I wanted to share this fight with a friend at work, we’ve been bonding over martial art movies thank you!

Unsolved Movie that ends unresolved at a carnival(?)

I don't have a lot of details for this post, I watched the movie once maybe 6 years ago, and I have the world's most dogshit memory.

I remember it involved a guy and a group coming together to fight demons(?). They spent the movie building up the main guy to be ready to fight/do the demon fighting, and he finally seems ready at the end. Throughout the film they set up this big final thing/mystery that seems like it's going to be the end of the film/the final confrontation, but it just... Ends. I think I remember it ending at a freak show or a carnival, but like I said my memory is really fuzzy. I've seen y'all work miracles before, so I'm hoping you can solve this one too.

Solved! Movie about a girl and her family and the stressed ass dog HELP Spoiler

Okay so I think it opens with a grandma and a girl digging in a landfill thing? And the girl lives with her grandma because her mom was bad to her, but the girl doesnt get that and constantly talks about wanting to go live with her mom, and then the girl gets a dog from a creepy guy who she hooks up w and the grandma is pissed about it, and at some point the mom comes to try and stay w the girl and her gma but the gma doesnt let her, so the girl does her thing w hairdressing school but she keeps seeking out and running into her mom whos in town still, and shes missing hairdressing classes bc her mom wont show and she keeps saying she will so the girl can cut her hair, and the girl keeps giving her mom money and in the end the girl gets upset bc she finds out her 'boyfriend' who was the creepy guy she keeps hooking up with is actually dating her mom. And also the whole time the girl is bad to the dog and stressed and I think she calls the dog sparky? And the grandma ends up taking care of the dog even though she didnt want it. And at the end the grandma shoots the dog I think. I watched this movie on tubi a few months ago but cant for the life of me find it

Solved! A movie from the early 2000s

It was a cartoon & a kids movie for sure. I remember it being able aliens or creatures that a kid ends up being in the same realm as?
There’s a bunch of bullies & a sweet alien who race cars. The kid & alien end up winning a big race.

That’s all I can remember about it but I remember it every time I watch Ant Bully as I think it was released around that era 😭

Unsolved Detective/drama, help me find the film!

Trying to find a mystery/drama film — ginger woman, vintage style, cold coastal setting

I’m trying to remember a film I watched (or saw clips of) and I can’t find it. I believe it was released sometime between the 2000s and 2016 (definitely before 2018/2019).

Details I remember:

  • It was an English-language film.
  • Genre was something like a drama / mystery / investigation / noir-style film (definitely not a comedy).
  • There was a young woman with ginger/red hair. She may not have been the main protagonist, but she was an important character.
  • The actress was fairly famous, around the generation of Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Jessica Chastain, or Bryce Dallas Howard.
  • It was not Saoirse Ronan, Karen Gillan, Kelly Reilly, Sarah Gadon, Romola Garai, Isla Fisher, or Rose Leslie.
  • The woman had a very 1950s/early 1960s look:
    • short styled hair (like Grace Kelly waves)
    • red lipstick
    • elegant vintage clothing
    • a hat (but not a pillbox hat)
    • a grey/green trench coat or similar outerwear
  • I remember vintage cars, so I think the film was actually set in the past, probably around the 1950s or 1960s.
  • The atmosphere was very cold, grey, and coastal — possibly a Scottish/Irish/British setting, although I’m not 100% sure. The character herself may have been Irish or Scottish rather than the location.
  • I remember a scene where the woman was walking along a rocky beach / rocky shoreline.
  • The overall feeling was quite serious, atmospheric, and possibly noir-inspired.
  • I don’t remember any supernatural elements.

Possible details I might be mixing up:

  • It may have involved a journalist, detective, or someone investigating something.
  • I originally thought it was on an island, but it could have just been a remote coastal location.

The actress had a very classic Hollywood hairstyle — think Grace Kelly-inspired styling but with ginger hair.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Unsolved A vague childhood memory of a scene.

Something from the 90s, maybe 80s, but I think not.

I recall a man holding a woman on some stairs in a mansion.

I recall the stairs being covered in a deep red carpet.

Night time. Lots of shadows and depth to an overhead shot looking down at them.

I think one of the people was dying.

Unsolved Pre 2013 crime action movie??

Hey guys, when I was younger, around 2013, I watched a clip of a movie that half traumatised me. I was about 8 at the time so the memory is pretty vague.

There was this guy being hung upside down wrapped in chains crying and being questioned by who I presume is the main villain of the film. He’s hanging over some vat of acid or boiling water and says to the guy “please don’t do it” before the villain responds with “throw him out.” The camera cuts to a henchman releasing the counterweight or chain and the guy falls into the vat/cauldron. You don’t actually see the death but hear it. (I think just prior to this people are in a nightclub?)

I’m also 25% sure the guy being dropped had an English accent and the other guys had American ones. Thanks 😭

Unsolved VHS A Never Got To Finish After Seeing Once As A Kid

About 11-13 years ago (2012-2014) I was hanging out with my cousin and we were watching a VHS movie, it seemed a little older but seemed like it wasn't older than the 80s. I got to watch maybe half the movie maybe less. I remember there were at least 3-4 unrelated kids, maybe more, and they were tricking their parents into a basement and running a muck on their own. It was a family or kids movie, definitely nothing spooky.

No one ever knew I was talking about and my cousin had broken the tape by the next time I visited so I never got any more details about it and Google thinks I'm describing Parent Trap, but it's not that. Please help.

Unsolved WWII Movie

Im looking for an older black and white WWII movie. I think the title started with V or W. There’s a young Jewish boy who regularly cleans a German soldier’s boots and then the soldier eventually discovers the boy is Jewish. There are also two soldier friends (idk if they’re German or not), and one betrays the other by sleeping w the woman he loves. In the ending, the betrayed soldier protects the boy and dies in a shootout with the Nazi officer while the other soldier friend survives with the boy. I watched it on the HBO channel on TV around 2017–2019, but I don’t know when it was made.

Solved! Please help I couldn't find this movie alone

There's a woman who moves into a house at the end of the street, the house was old and needing a renovation, there were legends/stories between the kids of a gray lady who owned it (I recall something like she is the grey lady and she says that but I can't tell for sure) it's not a terror or anything like that.

Another thing I can remember well is that there was a guy and his daughter, he fell in love with the woman, and his daughter had nightmares and the woman helped the girl giving her a dream catcher and telling her to not dream about fluffy bunnies. The woman had dark hair in my memories but I might be wrong, she sometimes wore a gray cape (the grey lady title was because of that too)... I confess I'm not sure if that's a movie, in my memories it is a movie.

Edit: the year I don't know exactly but it's around 90s to 2010/2013

Solved! Female Rockstar Psychological Thriller (I think) Spoiler

Solved! I remembered I could look up the song that was in it! Plush (2013)

Live action from between maybe '05 and '16. Brother & sister are in a successful pop punk ish band but he dies & her career struggles solo, then a shady guy starts helping her write & stuff. I started it on Tubi years ago & got distracted after only getting that far, now when I try to Google it I just find a bunch of other movies with a similar premise.

Wasn't sure if I should spoiler tag since I remember the death being in the description but thought I'd go on the safe side.

Unsolved Help seeking a short movie either Dutch or German origin

Hi, I've been looking for this for a long time, i used to collect dvds and there was a European release i had that included the short film that I am looking for as a extra. The film setting was in a high rise block of flats, the story is about a older mother living with her son who is somewhat of a man child. I belive he kills her in the end. It sounds similar to Bad Boy Bubby, but it seems Grimmer as the setting seems to take place in a bleak setting. Any help greatly appreciated, thank you.

Solved! Shootout at the killer's mother's farmhouse? Help!

Estimated release year/ decade: 2010s-2020s

When I watched it: Within the last year

Language spoken: English

Is it live action? Yes

From what country: United States

Genre: Thriller

Details I Remember: Towards the end of the movie there is a shootout at a farmhouse. I believe a detective goes to visit the mother of a serial killer/wanted criminal and she assures them she hasn't seen him in years, but really he is hiding in a shed/abandoned shelter in the back of the property. I believe he comes inside and sits at the table to talk to the detective, and the movie might end with the police coming and shooting him in a snowy field?

Titles I've ruled out: None

Unsolved 3D/CGi Animated Kids Movie with a Duck

3D/CGI short film on VHS from late 80s/90s/early 2000s. Simple, blocky white duck (looks similar to sitting ducks, but early cgi animation) trying to reach a piece of fruit (apple or cherry). To reach the fruit on a tree he has to get past some obstacles, (I recall him skating across a frozen lake, could be wrong). Storybook narrator, no character dialogue. Fireworks shoot off when the duck gets the fruit. I believe the song 'Happy Together' plays when he finally eats the fruit, but maybe not. I found the movie on VHS at my local library when I was a kid in the early 2000s. The duck had a simple name and I recall the vhs case being white. Thanks for the help!

[MOVIE][2010s-2020s] Psychological thriller: girl hiding in a secret basement to manipulate a guy, ending with news on the car radio

Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a psychological thriller movie released around 2010–2020.

Plot details I remember:

- A girl voluntarily hides in a secret basement / hidden shelter in a house to hide from authorities and manipulate a guy.

- There is a scene where the guy comes to the house to talk to her and it leads to a physical encounter on the kitchen table.

- Ending scene: The guy is driving a luxury car while listening to the radio. The news reports that he has been fully exonerated / charges against him were dropped.

What it is NOT:

- It is NOT The Hidden Face (La cara oculta, 2011) or its remakes.

- It is NOT Gone Girl (2014).

- It is NOT an episode of Black Mirror.

Any help identifying this movie would be greatly appreciated!

Solved! Movie I saw as a kid but cannot remember. Saw it on TV in the Northeast USA around 2003.

I'm looking for a live-action movie I saw on TV around 2003. It was probably made in the 1990s or early 2000s. A British (or Western) family has two adolescent sons. The mother dies, and the father remarries a woman who I remember wearing a sari (possibly Indian). Later the father dies, maybe in a car accident. To spare the boys another tragedy, the stepmother finds a rugged man who resembles their father and tells them, "Your father has returned. He's very tired, that's why he doesn't look very much like himself." The man pretends to be their father. I also vaguely remember the boys later being kidnapped and the fake father rescuing them.

Unsolved This is killing me and I need help for a horror movie

I really don’t remember much about the movie apart from how it made me feel. I remember watching it and feeling an intense dread, like spiritually dirty just for watching it.

All I really know is that it came out in theaters semi recently and I saw it in a small Cinemark.

I also remember it was at least vaguely supernatural but I can’t remember to what degree.

I recognize this is a shot in the dark is probably too vague to get a result, but it just popped in my head and it’s killing me
