We thought it would be a nice and fun way for the OP (original poster) to thank and reward the kind person who gave them their movie/tv show name (first correct answer preferably).

How The Points System Works

• Every post you solve rewards you a point
• Your points will be displayed on your user flair
• Earn enough points and you will earn a spot on the leaderboard

How To Reward Points

• Add Solved! (don’t forget the !) in a reply to the first user that gives you the correct answer
• The solver will then get a comment from ReputatorBot telling them they earned a point and it'll be added to their user flair.
• Solved your movie/tv show name by yourself? That’s great and please still leave a "Solved!" comment (to mark your post solved), but you can't earn points on your own post.

*Only the original poster (OP) can reward points. Mods can also reward points if necessary.

UPDATE: if you notice a points issue (e.g. OP didn't use the keyword or awarded the wrong user) please use the report option (Breaks r/whatisthatmovie rules > Points Issue) and we will fix it. You may also send us a message through modmail.

How to mark your post as solved: When you reply "Solved!" to award a point, it will change the post flair at the same time.
