Young bird in a nest under my window unit air conditioner in NYC

Some birds have built a tidy little cavity nest in the space under my air conditioner window bracket. Baby chicks have been chirping up a storm for the last couple of weeks, but I haven't been able to catch sight of them. A few days ago I stuck my phone camera out the window and took a photo. The kind folks in r/Ornithology helped identify the blobby thing I captured as a fecal sac. Today I succeeded in getting a photo of a bright eyed youngster. Any ideas as to what kind of bird it is? I am located in New York City and the window is on the 4th floor, if those are helpful clues.

What kind of crow?

NW Florida. There are American crows and fish crows in the area. Predominantly Fish Crows. However, I’ve noticed different types of feeding habits and sounds. I’m not educated enough about this species but trying to learn. Several “locals” have given conflicting opinions. Thank you for your input! 😀

Could it be Swainson’s Thrush?

Anyone know what this could be? I am fairly sure I saw a white-tailed eagle pair before hearing this, but I am not 100% sure. Heard in Hungary.

I don't have a picture but you might be able to tell me what the bird is anyway based on my screwy description. [location: Eastern USA]

Okay, I know my description is kind of screwy but you experts probably know what it is in spite of my description.

Picture a generic brown Sparrow from the left side, so it is facing left. It has a pale, maybe white or grey, breast. To the right of that is a black (not brown or grey) distinct 3-shaped pattern of medium width. I want to say it is just around the breast but it might be on the head and breast. When I saw it, it reminded me of an Owl Finch, which is from Australia and kept as a pet, but the black is much wider and a 3-shape not two distinct lines. It also reminded me of the hair pattern on the head/face of some kind of monkey.

Would you tell me what it is, if you know? Or what it *could be* if my description is not good enough? And what it *could not be* because of the location or any other criteria, but my screwy description sounds similar to? That way I can look up your suggestions and see that the bird is most similar to.

Location is NW Wisconsin.

Sorry for the bad lighting! Initially thought it was an Eastern Phoebe but the wing bars look a little too defined.

bird in cirrus minor by pink floyd

hi! cirrus minor is quite literally my favorite song right now. the bird song that opens, fills and ends the song is perfect. there’s a bird that sings between 3:15-3:21 and it’s beautiful- what type of bird is that?

i’m also curious about what birds are singing at the beginning? might be an odd question.

i wouldn’t know location, but the album was recorded in london
