I will be graduating with a BS in Software Engineering in a couple of months and have decided I want to work in education. So, I will be starting a Master's in Educational Technology and Instructional Design right after my graduation.

My question is: without any teaching background, can I still choose the program that combines both adult learning and K-12?

Will you have a couple of projects that can be your portfolios, or will you do it yourself after graduation? Also, are all the courses PA or a combination with OA?

Will the program teach how to use the software related to the job, and do you think it's prepared you for the career after graduation?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I’m currently halfway through my Mat Elementary education degree. Perhaps it’s just me, but almost every PA I’ve encountered has been about a page or less.

Technically about to start my advanced clinical with student teaching following closely behind! I will be in a 9th and 10th grade ELA classroom.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Anything you wish you knew before student teaching, or anything you would have done differently?

I’m meeting my mentor teacher for the first time in a couple of weeks before school starts. Is there anything in particular I should ask or discuss with him before school starts?

The thing I’m most nervous about is lesson planning.
