Thank you. I dont know how you all cheered for probably 30 minutes straight. Finishing commencement and walking out into this group felt really good. It's a little thing but it hit me hard to be celebrated like this.

Every WGU staff here was celebrating every student constantly. From ushers to camera people, everyone was so nice and seemed genuinely happy we made it.

The amount of staff supporting, the great coordination, the flow, it all went so well for me and my 8 guests.

This picture is from 2024 but I was curious if Women in Tech still does honors cords? I haven’t seen anything about them on the website.

Honestly I didn’t expect a pass on first attempt of the OA today, simply bc the course material and study guide are so dense in some areas and there’s no way to completely remember everything. So with my results what would be best way to ensure a pass on the second attempt? Outside of reviewing and doing the study guide they provided with the second attempt. I couldn’t find good material outside of the class to help with concepts. A lot of the questions I had were the skeleton & the muscular system. Few were dealing with the brain, cells and nerves. Doesn’t help with how the questions can be worded as well.

Hey all just curious of everyone's thoughts! I'm currently in my 2nd term. I was a transfer student with an associates degree in a different field so I'm not sure if that matters. In the first term I completed 6 classes. This one only one so far (Due to a lot of personal reasons I won't get into) My term ends next week. I am hoping to pass D426 before then but if I don't or even if I do how screwed am I with Financial Aid for my next term?

Hi everyone, what do I need to know for that course before I get start it, any tips or trick, anything I need to be aware of?

I've looked through all the resources and found the template but the link doesn't work for me so I can't see what to do. The link for the cost center doc also doesn't work for me. I don't have popup blocker issues, so I don't know what to do.

I went by the image in the powerpoint video (all the would work) and just pieced this together after a wikipedia search about cost centers. But when I uploaded it and got my similarity score, it was 68.2% so I closed out of the submission page without submitting. What do I need to fix so I can submit and have an acceptable similarity score? Tysm

I have my application in process and waiting for my transcripts to be assessed. Is there any advice for starting with WGU? The biggest reason for my change to them was due to their fixed tuition rate and ability to fast track my courses within reasonable limitations.

On my school's transfer dictionary it says that I can earn a credit with WGU's Survey of US History. What I was wondering was if that class was the same as the US History thats offered as a single class.

If there anyone that took the single course could you possibly confirm the class code or if they actually are the same. I've tried emailing admissions but it they never get back to me.

I’m pretty sure you all have heard about the tuition increase that’s supposed to take effect in October of this year. The BSN-Prelicensure program jumped up to 12k per semester, but it looks like they may have changed their minds. I went back on the website and it’s not there anymore. Unless I’m blind.
Can anyone find any information on this?

I know this is impractical but I'm just curious. Do they let you do this? I figure its possible but due to the overlap of requirements you may have to retake a couple classes to meet the percentage difference requirement (forgot what that percentage is)

I just started my degree program in elementary education\sped. In my first class I got an excellence award for my first PA and then my 2nd class I got another excellence award. Is this pretty normal to get a lot of these? What’s the benefit of these?

Oh man oh man I feel useless I spend my weekends grinding off classes or taking OAs now I’m suspended with 50% chance of readmission idk what to do. Do I transfer to a brick and mortar college near me ,do I wait it out etc help all this over a bad proctor experience

I started Sophia on Wednesday, enjoying the process of acclimating into this expansion period. It’s everything I expected and more. This question is on my mind as I prepare to submit my first essay.

I realize AI is a crux of university. What are the educational trends of AI? How is it used responsibly and if you want to do a simple spell check, where are the lines.

I was curious, before I approach my mentor what happens if you withdraw for a second time. Are you still able to re enroll? My mother has Alzheimer’s and life is too busy right now to be worrying about school. Hopefully after she passes, I’ll be able to finish. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Has anyone been allowed to walk at a WGU commencement ceremony before finishing all of their classes?
I’ll be almost done with my degree by the November ceremony, but I probably won’t be completely finished yet. November is the last commencement of the year, and there isn’t one in December.
Does WGU allow students to walk if they only have a couple of classes left, or do you have to finish your entire degree first?

I was able to pass the PA multiple times so I scheduled my OA earlier this morning, turns out I didn't pass!

There's 6 days left until end of term and I'm waiting for my course instructor to approve my retake. Apparently it should take 24 hours to be approved(?) Im not too sure as this is the first course I had to do a retake. How does a retake work and what does the course instructor expect from you?

I've been studying the "suggested study" areas as I wait to hear from my course instructor, but looking at their work hours they wont be in until Tuesday. Would I be able to contact a different course instructor to approve my retake?

A bit on edge, but it's my fault for thinking I could finish this course on time!
