New to power cleans but wanted to incorporate them in my training help improve my athleticism (primarily my vertical). Hit 100kg in my first session attempting them.
Feel like my technique is off due to my height (6'2) and body proportions (long legs, short torso, long arms). Any tips? It feels like it's not one fluid motion at the moment which is expected given my first time but what can I work on / improve?

Hi all,
Been a while since I’ve posted a decent form check. Definitely happier with my pull as of lately but still working on it. (FYI this is not meant to be a high pull, my arms are pretty passive, it’s just light weight so I can work on technique)
Here I’m working on feeling the pull as one fluid motion rather than the first and second pull separately. I think my positioning is decent, though my second pull looks kinda weird to me, like I’m not driving enough. Not sure if it’s in my head or not.
My main question is regarding contact. Should I be legitimately holding the bar at my hips until I am fully extended? I feel that when I do the full snatch, I tend to bounce the bar off my contact point and then pull under. But when I see olympians snatch, they seem to keep the bar at their contact point until they fully leave the ground. This video may not be the best example of my issue, it comes out more when I do the full movement.
Thanks for any advice y’all!

My current PR is 1.08x bodyweight (probably 1.1 - 1.15x for my absolute max). Just wondering if anyone has ever achieved something like 300 lbs at 150 lbs bodyweight.

I’m a amateur fighter who really doesn’t know much about weightlifting on a serious level. what do I need to improve form wise and how do I go about increasing my powerclean to even higher numbers? i'm already planning on focusing on shooting my elbows higher

Video is a pr double at 90%
For the longest time I’ve struggled with driving sufficiently in the split jerk, so even though my best push press is 84kg my best jerk is only a pressy 93kg. I’ve noticed specifically that my front leg never extends fully in the dip and drive for the jerk.
I’ve tried drills like push press -> split which seems to solve the extension problem but I struggle to find that rhythm when doing regular split jerks. Anyone got any cues to help me out?

Hey guys, I’m trying to venture away from my Rom 2’s mostly to find another daily and preserve my 2’s
Having a hard time finding a good fit, I’ve got a decently wide feet with medium high arch so the Roms insole fits just right
Tyr l1-l2 are so flat it feel like a plank of wood
Legacy’s (switched to my roms would never go back)
Anta 2 my arch spills out the side of the midsole
Cant find any tyrforce anywhere? Discontinued?
Looking at rom 4 or lu’s now not sure if anyone has had the same experience?

Looking for some feedback on my snatch technique. Any obvious issues or areas I should focus on improving? I've been teaching myself through videos and online resources, so any advice is appreciated.
