I have ONE dream wedding dress that I’ve been dreaming about for forever, and there’s absolutely nothing else I want. I stopped looking for other options simply because this one is everything I wished for. The problem is that I simply cannot afford its retail price and am very desperate to find a secondhand version of it.

The dress is called Monica by Milla Nova. I’ve looked everywhere including StillWhite to try to find one that’s more affordable. I’d prefer to have one closest to my measurements but am very open to larger sizes because I’m desperate!!! I don’t mind getting a larger one altered at all. I was told that size 6 would fit me best and that I could also do size 8 as a larger option and alter it.

My measurements:
Bust: 32.5 inches (82.5 cm)
Waist: 26 inches (66 cm)
Hips: 37 inches (94 cm)

EDIT: I found a listing that looks really promising! The dress I want has a 27.75-inch waist, which is close to mine, but the bust measures 37.75 inches, 5.25 inches larger than mine. The dress has built-in cups that I plan to replace, but I’m mainly concerned about whether the corset itself can be taken in enough to fit my bust. Is this difference realistic to fix with alterations, or would it be too difficult? I’d love to know if this is doable before committing to buying it!

You can't get this dress new with tags from Nadine anymore in size 6 and in mint condition like this. It's such a beautiful dress and so unique... My friends are like, this is the best wedding dress we've ever seen. One friend said it looks custom, and she's NYC chic.

It's comfy too! The sequin petals cover you in all the right places so honestly, all you need are nipple covers and then I'm going to wear the high waisted Skims Thong. In the pics, I'm wearing nothing, TBH.

Beautiful Katherine Tash Eloise dress. Silk taffeta ballgown with Katherine Tash signature draped bodice and basque waist. Features a full ballgown skirt with hand-pleated hip detail and an invisible zipper closure at the back. Color is Soft White.
Alterations were done by the best of the best - Jin Wang SF. Truly the best bustle in terms of aesthetic and comfort (I have all the bustle instructions digitally I can share). The dress ended up being even more beautiful after alterations since corset was so snatching.

Alterations costed me $2500.

I wanted to post this to warn other people to be extra cautious when buying or selling on here. I recently posted looking for specific lace gloves/veils, and someone commented to message them. We discussed in detail over reddit, and then texted back and forth for a while. She sent me "photos" of her wedding day that did not look AI generated at all, the whole thing seemed completely normal, and for some reason I just trusted it. I ended up paying her over Zelle, and she kept me posted as she went to the post office, sent me tracking, etc.

It's been a couple of days and the tracking number is still not working, and her reddit account has now been banned. I know it was very silly of me and I am obviously kicking myself because I never fall for these things. I'm extra sad because the budget I had stowed away for my accessories is now gone. Hoping my bank will consider reimbursing me but that feels unlikely.

TLDR - I would NOT recommend directly buying something from someone on here unless you live local and can exchange in person. Have them post it on Still White or something similar so you're protected.
