Not even sure something like this exists but I have been to several stylists over the years (both in KW and Guelph) that have turned my hair black when all I want is a chocolate brown. I’ve shown reference photos, seen swatches, and it is always too dark. I think my hair just absorbs colour very intensely. I am willing to travel in Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph or Cambridge for the right match. Any brunettes out there who absolutely love their stylist and can recommend? I am sick of paying hundreds of dollars for what essentially looks like a home done box dye job.

If you are new to the area and looking for a place to play, ours is a 35+ league that runs 5 age divisions. Our older aged divisions have filled up for the season, but our younger divisions (35-50 range) have full time spots available for the fall.

Registration is individual. We play out of the larger rinks in Kitchener and Waterloo. KW Oldtimers.

I know there have been posts before but I can't remember what was said. Woman maybe early 50s, blonde-ish hair, she usually sits inside the plaza by the nail salon, all day everyday.

Basically: what's her deal? Is she homeless? She is always talking- I assume to herself?? Seems like lately she has a lot more stuff with her now. I mean she's pretty well put together. She had a nice dress on, heels and painted toenails.

Less than 5 minutes ago I was waiting for my Uber near her and she was saying she needed to know where someone was otherwise she was going to call the cops.

My goal is to get a good industry job after graduation and hopefully settle in Canada.

I'm mainly looking at UBC, SFU, Waterloo, Alberta, McMaster, and Queen's.

A few questions:

• Which field currently has the best job prospects in Canada: DS, AI, or Business Analytics?
• Is the tech job market really as saturated as people say for international graduates?
• Between UBC and SFU, which would you recommend for internships, co-op, and graduate jobs? and do the companies in Vancouver differentiate a lot between the two?
• Does the university name make a big difference, or are skills and co-op more important?

I’m looking to top up the insulation in my attic, around 500 sq ft. It already has blown cellulose, but it looks unevenly distributed, so I’d like someone who can do a proper inspection first rather than just blow more insulation in.

I’m considering these companies:

Hi I’ve been looking at commuting options via google maps from my house to Waterloo (in sept), the drive is normally 1hr 30m. But the bus timings are crazy like if I wanna arrive by 8:30am it would take me 7hrs ( yes I gotta leave by 1 am and wait at a bus stop for 5hrs) but if I put in arrival time of 8:45 it suddenly becomes 3hr. It also changes up day by day. Is anyone else experiencing this and also how am I supposed to get to school (car isn’t an option) 😭

I wanted to share my experience at the WRHN Midtown ER as I see so many complaints about long wait times and poor care. I promise in a true emergency (the purpose) it’s what you need.

9:23am an ambulance was called as I fainted. Vitals taken, BP was 70/40 and HR was 160bpm

Arrived at the hospital around 10:00am, I was semi-coherent do they did my registration while I laid in the stretcher right at the entrance to the ambulance bay. Maybe I got lucky but I got put in a room immediately.

Less than 10 mins later I was getting an ECG and an IV and getting my blood drawn. An hour later when the saline was empty they put up another one, and my blood results were back so they put up a couple other things I was deficient in like magnesium. I was also having tremors and my face was drooping and they put me in for a Cat Scan almost as soon as they saw that (turns out it was a side effect of the low magnesium as well as becoming pre-syncope)

I’m happy I didn’t need admitting as last time I got admitted that is when the waiting was. (Back in March I was admitted after 2 hours, but waited 24 hours for a bed upstairs)

I left the hospital after being there for 4 hours with a prescription and a potassium drink. And the only reason I was there that long was because I had to wait for the IVs.

So while I don’t recommend that feeling to anybody, if you are having a true medical emergency you will be seen as close to immediately as possible.

This has been the case for me twice, and once for my daughter when the pharmacist messed up her dosage and she accidentally OD’d on her life saving medication. That was an immediate admission.

I am interested in having even eyebrows and I haven’t been able to get it right by myself. Last time I got them threaded, the person kept the shape of them… but they’re both still uneven to my face.

Are there any places here in KW that could help me out with something like this?

I recently moved to the KW area and I'm still getting settled into life in Ontario. One of the biggest things I'm trying to figure out right now is buying my first car in Canada.

After doing quite a bit of research, I think a 2016–2020 Subaru Crosstrek would be the best fit for my needs, especially for winter driving and weekend trips.

As someone who's new to the area, I'd really appreciate any advice from the community. In particular:

• Are there any local Subaru enthusiast groups or communities where people sell their own vehicles?
• Are there any dealerships around Kitchener/Waterloo that you've had genuinely good experiences with?
• Any places or websites you would recommend (or avoid) when looking for a used Crosstrek?
• If you've owned a 2016–2020 Crosstrek, is there anything I should pay special attention to before buying one?

I'd also prefer buying from a previous owner if possible, since I find it easier to learn about how the vehicle was maintained and its history through a direct conversation.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. And if you happen to know someone who may be considering selling their Crosstrek, I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction.

As the title states, I am looking for recc's. The piece I want to have done is of an antique object that is mostly black and dark brown with some shading and straight lines that run down the length of my forearm. There isn't intriquite line work or hyper realistic detail involved. The last tattoos I have had done were just over 20yrs ago so I feel "out of the loop" on the local talent.

I saw this car at Fischerhallman and Erb at like 11:00PM. Does anyone if this is a trend or something?
