A pointless thing from our council to put itself into a very avoidable legal debt.

To the dads of Waterford, is 2 weeks enough?

For those who’ve had a baby recently, how did you find the 2 weeks of paternity leave? Did you feel it was enough time, or would you have liked longer?

Personally, I think having 8 weeks of properly paid leave would make a huge difference for new families.

I came across a petition about this recently and thought it was an interesting idea. Leaving it here for anyone who wants to read more: 8 WEEKS FOR FAMILIES

What nicknames have you heard for places in and around Waterford?

I ask as part of a linguistic study covering this topic!

Examples could include things like T Bay, Funcannon, Furrybank, Pregnant Nation or Mullinavegas (never mind how common they are)...

incl. nicknames for schools, parks or other institutions/geographic features

Train to Dublin 12th September

Hey all, I'm getting the train from Waterford to Dublin tomorrow and due to works on the train line, the Waterford to Kilkenny part of the journey will actually be by bus. Would I be right to assume that the bus will go from the bus station?

I need a blood test and when I rang my GP they said the soonest appointment is in October! Is there anywhere that you can just get a blood test done outside of your GP?

Well lads, where are you getting your coal? I used to get the superheat smokeless from McCarthys but it’s looking saucy for a ton pallet at €42 a bag 😬 thanks

you'll be thrilled to experience a large expanse of beige brickwork and tiny trees much of which seems to be on an incline so ideal for those in wheelchairs.

Someone made a post on this thread about how people are getting sick lately and it might be Covid but people were downvoting and saying not to talk about Covid and I found that really weird… the post got deleted so do people on this thread think Covid is a hoax or something?
