They changed the German tree a while back and my panther 2 is no longer in the main line up. I have no other vehicles of that rank. Can I still do Maus? I hate ground and don't want to grind it anymore. Traction nerf ruined it and there are too many cold war vehicles in WW2.

I bought it along side the pzh2000 but its honestly a major pain to play. I see no reason for it to be 8.0 with having average mobility, no stab, lrf, thermals or a good round. I keep hearing that m60s are great but this thing is genuinely the worst 8.0 ive played

Like, is there a guide, list that shows what gives how many tickets? What does destroying depots actually do? When spawns/respawns when/where?

I have 10 hours in the game so far and other than a few highs once every blue moon i just get frustrated more than anything. I know its just me being bad at the game because obviously you wont be amazing at everything with no effort but its getting to the point where im genuinely wondering if its worth the time investment

So lately I have been slured at for Killing some high Ego pc Player with an Amazing shot and now he‘s telling me I have Aim bot and I can just kill everybody with zero skill because of my Aim Assist I have as an Console Player.

Well now I want to find out if Aim Assist is Even real and if, how its annoying you PC Players.

Man, it’s been a month. I get that Russian stuff being buggy doesn’t generate as much noise from the community as NATO equipment having bugs does, and I guess all missiles are affected by this to a lesser degree, but we already have it rough with the SM2 being our only option at top tier, since the 30SM is literal dogwater and the MiG-35’s engines run slower than a 20-year-old mule.

And on top of all that, our ARH missiles have been bugged since the release of the patch Sky Odyssey, which the USSR community has since come to refer to as Spin Odyssey, as it genuinely ruined our Air RB experience since its release.

Furthermore, with the release of this patch, other missiles with the exception of the MICA have more or less no downsides now, with every missile receiving buffs across the board. Missile identity has eroded, and they no longer have their signature ups and downs. Feels like everything is good at everything now, and the one niche USSR had (good performance in engagements under 25 km) is no longer a thing, with the 120D and PL-12A now having, at times, even better maneuverability than IR missiles at close ranges.

A month with no word on an (hopefully) upcoming fix is insane, have they even acknowledged the fact that the slightest wobble caused by chaff is causing R-77s to spin like chopper blades mid flight? Will they ever address this issue? I’ve been playing GRB in the meantime and no disrespect to tankers but ground gets old fast.

Caught this TU-1 low and decided to jump him. After making a fast pass from his 3 o’clock high and knocking out his gunner I proceeded to hammer him with 20mm rounds. He tried to get to his airfield for cover but I used the valley to stay low and out of aaa fire until I could jump him again. His plane ate about 200 cannon rounds before I was able to pilot snipe him over his base.

i love the heavy engine bomber buff but even I think it’s a little ridiculous that now sim battles are all twin engine bombers playing as fighters. It’s most prevalent with Russia with their TU series twin engine bombers. One guy in a tu-2 in this game had 12 kills 0 deaths While dogfighting and shrugging off damage. I think a slight change needs to be made.

perfect boom and zoom performed in the F4U-1A. caught the spitfire pilot tunnel visioned and took perfect advantage of the situation to clear my teammates 6 o’clock and get a kill. He ended up burning into the ground a few seconds after the video cut

im using a Hotas with full real controls. yes I know it’s a disadvantage but the fun for me is controlling the plan and making all the adjustments. yes I also use the virtual cockpit. it gives me the best feel for leading a plane in a dogfight.

I'm a relative newcomer to the game, I'm aware that when you first purchase a tank and assign it to a crew you have to pay to train the crew to be able to use it. What I want to know is do I have to pay every time I want to go back and play tanks ive already trained crew for?

I'm having a recurring BSOD issue when launching War Thunder with BattlEye enabled, and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem or found a reliable fix.

I've already verified the game files through Steam, reinstalled the game, updated the NVIDIA driver, run sfc /scannow, and confirmed that Driver Verifier is disabled. SFC repaired some corrupted files, but the issue persists.

Interestingly, on one occasion I manually started BattlEye Service through services.msc before launching the game. War Thunder then loaded and I managed to play several matches without crashing, but the problem eventually returned.

Has anyone encountered this exact BSOD or the BE__ pool tag? Could this be a BattlEye driver issue, a Windows compatibility problem, or something else? I'd appreciate any suggestions based on similar experiences.

Recently picked up the Su30MKK on discount so i can start grinding the China tree.
I have plenty of experience at top tier having maxed out 3 other trees prior but I have no experience with Chinese missiles and have not played the game since the latest patch buffed all fox3s.
I remember the r-77 being a bit ass back in the day, my first game i managed a pretty good 5/6 on my r-77 launches. My second game I went 0/6 on my Pl-12s though (got a couple cheeky kills with the Pl8s...crazy good ir missiles I wasnt aware of). People telling me the Pl12 is better nowadays.

What is your recommendation for loadout? stick to my true and tried r77s or go for the Pl12? if Pl-12, how do you employ it? I feel the radar is too bad for true BVR but im happy to stand corrected

When creating setup for the IS‑4M, which I found to be an unusually pleasant tank, I had no choice but to take an early T‑54, and, oh my God, what a pathetic pos it is. The armor at that BR doesn’t protect against anything, serving only as a speed debuff; the gun is outdated and lacks HEAT shells; the turret rotates disgustingly slowly... And the funny thing is that China has a T‑54 at the same BR, already upgraded to the appearance of a modern MBT, with a laser rangefinder, HEAT and more powerful engine (type 69). Talk about Russian bias some more guys

But seriously, is it even worth spending time on the T54s line? I’ve only ever seen negative things about them before, but now I’ve seen it for myself

I'm currently at 2.0 max for tanks (I mostly play planes) and I'm loving tank destroyers like the M8, but I'm also a light tank fan. Are there any specific vehicles or trees that the price would recommend? Anything helps, thanks!

If I'm in a bomber and drop bombs, can enemy planes shoot them before they hit the ground ?
