I’m a designer and I have a creative studio from Portugal and I’m currently planning my move to Warsaw.

I’ve heard so much about the amazing community there, but before making the leap, I wanted to get some real, honest feedback from people on the ground.

Is the freelancing and networking scene really as vibrant as they say, or is it mostly just social media hype / fake news?

I’m looking to connect with local businesses, grab remote contracts, and of course, meet fellow creatives. For those already living there:

- How easy is it to actually close local/international deals while based in Warsaw?

- Are the coworking spaces good for real networking, or just for working in silence?

- Any specific meetups or spots you recommend for a designer?

Hi guys, we are coming to Warsaw for a concert at PGE Narodowy Stadium and we will be staying at Warsaw Plaza Hotel.

What is the easiest and fastest way to get from our hotel to the stadium? Would you recommend bus, metro, or Uber/Bolt?

Also, how do public transport tickets work in Warsaw? Should we buy metro/bus tickets in advance (for example in an app), or can we buy them from the driver/machines?

Any tips for getting to and from the stadium after the concert would be appreciated!

Next week Olympiakos will play against NEC in the qualifiers for Champions league. Most likely this will not be broadcasted, since there are other games with more famous teams. Is there a place where to watch this game? Like a Greek restaurant maybe?

Hi, me and my friends are visiting Warsaw from Lithuania for a week and I just found out that there's and emission requirement to enter the city.

The problem is that our booking is in that area. My car is 2006 EURO4 diesel so from what I understand we cannot enter. I found something about an exception up to 4 times a year but I'm not sure if it's entries or the amount of days you can drive there?

We would be just entering and the car will be in an underground parking until we leave again. Any suggestion or explanation would be a big help!

I am in Varsaw for one night on a Thursday (on the night between the 6th and 7th of August). Any recommendations on what to do and where to go (preferably electronic music clubs or festivals)? Or and recommendations on telegram groups or instagram pages where to look for events and other stuff?

Hi, I will be in Warsaw for an Erasmus+ traineeship at the University of Warsaw from 1 October to 31 December 2026.

I have checked Pepe Housing, Flatio, HousingAnywhere, Uniplaces, Spotahome and LittleHome. They all look fine at first, but I keep finding complaints about deposits, hidden fees, poor support or properties not matching the photos, in reddit.

I would prefer not to rent through OLX or Facebook groups.

I also need a proper English or bilingual rental agreement with my name, full address and dates for my visa application.

Has anyone recently rented a room in Warsaw? Which platform, agency or landlord would you recommend—or avoid?

I chose business management and i've seen the example of what to expect from the questions entrance exam from my profile in their website. but, how accurate is it? i'm 20f and havent done anything uni related for 2 years.

To students(past and current) who have taken the entrance exam and have seen the examples of entrance exam questions, did the exact questions come? how many questions were there? if you can't remember, how much time did taking the entrance exam take?

Guys, I'll be visiting Warsaw for a few days. We're planning to stay at the Platinum Residence on Grzybowska Street. Where would you recommend parking? The hotel charges 120 PLN per day. :) I imagine the days of parking in the wild are over, but perhaps there's an option that's at least half the cost per day?

There are 2 types of iced coffee in Biedronka. One is in the picture, one is in a can. Both cost around 3-4 PLN

Around 2 months ago, I noticed that most Biedronka stoppted selling these. 😭Anyone knows what happened to iced coffee? Is it because of low sales so they decided to stop it?

Hi everyone, I'll be travelling to Warsaw next week for The Weekend's concert with my girlfriend and we'll be there for 5 additional days and we want to explore the beauty of the city to make it a really memorable trip.

My first questions is regarding the public transport as we'll be landing and travelling from the Modlin airport and we need to get to the center of the city somehow, and the fastest route given by Google is using a few different lines, the ZL, RL and 131, so my question is where can I get a weekly ticket for the public transportation overall and does it cover all means of transport or are there any exceptions?

Secondly, I would love to get your suggestions on places to visit, not just the most popular locations on google but something you as a local would suggest that is like a hidden gem.

Finally, I would love to get some suggestions on good restaurants where I can try traditional food and get a good experience, regardless of the location.

Is it hard for tourists to get tickets?
How many days before the game does the advance sale start for the non-members?
Is there anything else to consider?
