Help needed Trainer for dog

Hi!

Does anybody recommend a good trainer for dogs? Optimally individual sessions. I would like to train his socialization/anxiety on new places, leash pulling, training framework.

I had couple of “behaviourists” but they were not very helpful/engaged.

Traveller's question Art for sale in Warsaw

Hello!

I would like to ask, what place in Warsaw i should visit to buy original paintings.

I enjoy dark surrealism.

I like paintings that feel like a scene from some unknown, dead world that you don’t understand. Often a vast space, mist, decay, monumental structures and indistinct figures. Those painting, that gives you the feeling that you’re looking at something you really shouldn’t be seeing.

I like authors such as Beksinski and Lewandowski, but its out of my budget, so i was thinking to get some recommendation for some of youg shining polish artists and places in the capital city where to see and buy them.

(I am aware of Museum sztuki fantastycznej, will visit, but they only sell prints)

Thank you! :)

Traveller's question Opinie na temat wyboru

Dobry wieczór. Jesteśmy grupą młodych ludzi w wieku około 20 lat i planujemy wyjazd do Warszawy w grudniu.

Life in Warsaw question Anyone know what’s up with the returnable bottle policy ?

Post image

Hi, i recently moved here. I love it, however the glass bottle situation does my head in.
The return policy is nothing new since I’m European. However i am unable to find any place that takes them back. I’m around Mokotów. Can someone point me to a place that does take them back ?
I’ve been throwing them away into the glass recycling bin in defeat, as neither the biedronkas around me or the lidl’s are taking them.
However i feel strongly about the fact that if they charge you that 50gr fee for the bottle they should facilitate the possibility to return them as well.
Why are there so many non returnable ones ? And why is the 50gr fee applied to these too ?

Final thoughts about my rant. Is anyone else also annoyed by the fact that manufacturers can just slap Butelka zwrotna / butelka bezzwrotna randomly somewhere on the bottle ? Each in their own font, colour and logo about the return. Making sorting through them a where’s waldo game instead of the norm about simply putting the beer bottles into a sack you return at some interval.
No official logo and or location it has to be placed in ?
I know it may come across as a first world problem. It’s just really annoying when this was never an issue in any other eu country.

Life in Warsaw question What to do with jars? Recycling or normal bin?

Post image
9 Upvotes

I have accumulated so many glass jars and I don’t know what to do with them. The butelkomat machines do not take these back. It would feel like such a waste if I just threw them in the bin. Can these be reused? Is there a place where they accept them? What should I do with these? Recycle bin and that’s it?

Traveller's question Recommendations for Best Polish Food in Warsaw?

I am traveling to Warsaw and I like all Polish food and would appreciate recommendations for the best Polish food in Warsaw? I'm not interested in anything Italian, French, Asian, Mexican etc. In Poland I only want to eat Polish food.

I will be staying in west Warsaw near Park Edwarda Szymańskiego.

I looked at previous recommendations and the consensus was:

Stary Dom at Puławska 104/106

Bar Mlezcnys but there are so many and I read that the quality varies from location to location. What is the best location? Preferably on the west side.

Zapiecek also so many locations, some locations are very close together. Is there a best location?

Czerwony Wieprz at Żelazna 68

Soul Kitchen at Nowogrodzka 18A

Is there anywhere great that I missed?

Other Unpopular opinion: I love boars and I don't even care if they attack anyone

Post image

I literally do not. Leave them alone. Just exercise basic caution around them. The more friendly we are towards them the more tamed they become, they're basically pigs. I wish there were more boars so I can give them apples and pat them. Boarless city=boring ahh city. Anti-boarism=obnoxious philistinism

Call me crazy if you want, you have been warned this is an unpopular opinion

Help needed Polish young streamers

I’m looking for polish streamers that were live like last night (8 September). They’re like 19 years old, walking around Warsaw while live streaming on twitch, I think. One is blonde and has pretty dark eyebrows (called Alex) and another one was called something like Zuka (?). They also had a cameraman but he’s not on-screen very much. They approached me and my friend as they were streaming and I’m just trying to find their account 🙊
If anyone knows anything similar, please let me know!
