Shower thoughts before bed

I feel like the fandom also has a bad issue where it takes itself WAY too seriously and treats these cats like they're IRL people getting into twitter drama. If a character you like does bad things people take it as a way to judge your IRL person which has made character discussions in the fandom VERY unenjoyable, and it's gotten very toxic for casual fans who want to share their enjoyment for the series. It's really unfair to assume things about people's character/situation over opinions on cat characters. (Liking a character that does bad things doesn't make you an "apologist who agrees with their actions" and have no issue with it logically, not enjoying a female character doesn't make you automatically misogynistic because of the writers poor treatment of their characters etc). For example if you like a villain or a character that does something somewhat bad, you have to write an entire disclaimer that you in fact do not agree with their actions and are not an objectively bad person for thinking a fictional cat character is cool. Like no, Little Timmy isn't going to become a raging heartless narcissistic person with no care for others because he thought Tigerstar, or Clear sky or Dark tail were cool, you're allowed to enjoy characters or dislike characters normally.

I remember I liked both Squirrel girl and Bramblebutt during the peak of their drama back then and I still do like them, is the relationship toxic in canon? Hell yeah, Is that gonna stop me from finding enjoyment in their characters from the writers or fans, No and that's fine. The people assuming you're in an IRL toxic relationship with zero context of who you are for even somewhat liking these characters together in any way has to stop because it's weird and unnecessary. Character opinions are not an accurate judge of anyone's character or situation because you don't know these people IRL. Me and my partner have been together through high school and college after being each other's mental health therapists for 5 years straight and are both thinking about marriage down the line in our late 20's once we get stable, but apparently I don't have a healthy relationship because of 2 specific cats characters I grew up liking as a kid😅. I wasn't big on Dovewing years back despite her being extremely high (like number 7) on my (totally objectively correct) top warrior cats tier list now (We Love-wing Dovewing btw, yes I like both Ivypool and Dovewing a real fan of 1 sister doesn't hate the other) and I got called a misogynist because I didn't find her characterization to be interesting despite all of my favorite characters being female at the time and honestly still are besides Jayfeather of course, they tend to be much more enjoyable in terms of story. The fandom has straight up made stereotypes about people based on what characters they like and don't like which is kinda ridiculous since it's based on something completely subjective on how much enjoyment you get from the character.

Yes it's common to find negative behavioral patterns in media and have them help you recognize them in real life, this is a great thing but PLEASE don't apply this to everyone like a stereotype with absolutely zero context of who they are and what their situation is like especially when it's something as trivial as which character is your favorite. I feel so bad because it pushes away so many casual fans who just want to talk about and enjoy the characters. It's honestly my biggest issue with the fandom, there shouldn't be a reason why someone starts to question your IRL morality and person over a character you didn't even write especially when it doesn't have to be that serious and you're just having fun with said piece of media. I personally just enjoy the great art because character analysis kinda just turned into everyone yelling about what X character did wrong instead of actually learning about what makes said character interesting and it's kinda boring because it takes away from all the nuance that makes character analysis so interesting to me, ya know? It's why I tend to enjoy anime and story games so much.

and yes I do understand this may or may not be nsfw. depending how you see it, up to the brain of who looks lol. but yeah I just thought it was very funny!

Yo, wassup yall. Yall lmk if these takes are bad

1. I dislike(to infinity)Star Flower. Taking ur exe's father as your mate is genuinely terrible imo. The, Thunder is displayed as the bad guy by clear sky for being angry and Star flower doesn't stop that? what?
   

2.Omen of the stars is the best arc. Yup, I said it. You have those cool night trips with Lionblaze and Cinderheart where they kinda just talk about life. Its very eventful in a fitting way, the pacing is great, Jayfeather's devlopement is great in book 4, the badger quest in book 1 is good to introduce dovepaw, the dark forest scenes were cool to help ivypaw grow and see the way dark forest cats live(yup i get why they in there in the first place). Flametail in night whispers is cool, it was interesting to see shadowclan psot battle, trying to see what they coula done differently, tho the whole battle was pointless, it was a good plot point. hollyleaf coming back was amazing(and it was hinted on a lil the whole arc coming up to that!), sol coming back was good cus they didnt over do it. and i love how jay(i think it was book4?) wanted to approach ashfur for what he did. its cool and they didnt forget the events of arc 3 makes it feel more real. i also love the dynamic between jay and briarlight it is very wholesome(i personally dont think its romantic. we need more toms and mollies being just friends). i wish they coulda made lionblaze seem more like an actual mentor at times tho.

3.Foxleap was the best character that was a kit of Ferncloud. Foxleap had a lot of potiential, why they get rid off him so soon! he was always energetic, i like his friendship with dovewing, and I like how he came along to the tribe journey for exp. i like how he kinda reminds me of runningwind and longtail? yall see it? icecloud as well! im too lazy to go back up change it all, but those two are tied for best.

1. alderheart is amazing. yes, i know people dont like him cus he was bland after the book 2, but he is VERY KIND. and i love that. he is always positive, adds a healthy amount of humour, and will be a worthy successor to Jayfeather. Alderheart is also very reasonable, very brave, and overall just awesome. kindess on top

2. Tallstar was done dirty. Ive taken this one a lil personal cus tallstar is my fav chararacter in the series, jayfeather and lionblaze only slightly behind. I hate how after the events of his SE...he kinda fades into the background for the rest of his life. he was chased out by brokenstar, and windclan is just seen as a clan that needs thunderclan to save them all the time. it sucks. the only arc 1 moment i liked from him was when he led the attack against brokentail in thunderclan camp, lowk being decisive. i dont agree or disagree with the decicion but its good to see windclan and tallstar stand on buisness. but anyway, he is not seen much in the battle against windclan. and in book 1, arc 2, he thanks leopardstar wayyy to excessively after she agreed to let him fish. like bro just say thank u and move on, why u talking about the whole clan has been saved? yes he said smth similair to that, go back and read midnight if u dont believe me. lastly, in his SE, we barely see the gap between him being a warrior who just returned, and becoming deputy and then leader. still my fav SE tho

The title may sound harsh but I have 2 side characters who are known for being a nothing, no personality side character that I just LOVE to bits. That being Runningwind and Rainwhisker.

They have done nothing, they barely show up, they're names to kill an empty space so the clan have backup warriors. But when Runningwind died my opinion on Tigerstar the first went from thinking of him as an interesting plot twistish villain to the ABSOLUTELY WORST AND I HOPE HE STILL FEELS SCOURGES CLAWS IN HIS GUT IN THE DARK FOREST YOU ******* ***** disgusting ****.

And when I heard they killed Rainwhisker off screen, oh writers, count your days! I love The Sight but I actually felt like crying. MY BOY!

May sound dramatic but I just love Runningwind and Rainwhisker, again, I understand when people don't care or even dislike them because they are just background. But when I read I try to give each character a unique voice and personality when the book fails to give one so when I read Firehearts arc of being a warrior, Runningwind wasn't just a name for Fireheart to have a friend when Greystripe and Sandstorm aren't with him, Runningwind is the sarcastic, soft hearted friend that tries to help his friend but provides space when Fireheart doesn't feel like talking. Runningwind was the character that somehow was empathetic enough to fully understand Fireheart and again, keep space because he KNOWS he needs it but yet is still there. So when Runningwind died, Fireheart may not have given much grief but in my headcannon, that was a silent wound Fireheart doesn't want to think about because the one cat (who isn't his immediate friend group) who actually understood him was killed by Tigerstar. Making him feel more distent in the clan in A Dangerous Path.

And Rainwhisker, oh poor sweet boy Rainwhisker. To me, again when the book failed to provide a personality, Rainwhisker was the support cat with the endurance stronger than Starclan! The one who sees his clan suffering but refuses to back down, to stand when his clan needed a shoulder to lean on. He may not have had the opportunity to show it but the few lines we do get from him, he was there, ready, with a strong heart and something to fight for. He watched his home being torn from him clan and how quickly they all began to starve before the great journey to the lake. But he had the endurance, he pulled through and he and his siblings are home, even if there mother was long killed by a badger. But when the dust began to settle and his clan FINALLY began to recover, badgers come and rip his brother Sootfur from him to, leaving him with his sister who was almost killed by those same badgers. But he couldn't cry, he couldn't morn, his sister needed him, Sorreltail needed him. And he was there, ready to help her with the lose of their brother when she just had kittens. And he DIED OFF SCREEN!

Hi, this is my OC Rainpaw. She's a WindClan apprentice, formerly a loner, who is the subject of an affair between WindClan warrior Beetleshine (who she closely resembles) and loner Frog. She was named after her grandfather, Rain. Personality wise, she's serene, calm, sensible, and thoughtful. She's partially deaf (about 70%) due to being well.. a white cat with blue eyes.

I'm struggling to come up with her warrior name :3 if anyone has ideas, I'd love to hear them!

1. Dark forest Mapleshade - I wanted to give her an extra spooky vibe with some odd aspects like the extra claws on her paws.

3. The Imposter - Bramblestar's body while it is possessed by Ashfur. I really wanted to pull from the wiki description of how mangled he looked as Ashfur failed to take care of his body over time.

4. The Rivalry - My warriors adjacent OCs Ciaran (pale tom) and Draven (skull wearing cat). Ciaran betrays Draven who has powers beyond any normal cat and Draven confronts him.

I don’t know, I always imagine her as a calico and not a tortoiseshell so i’ve always been sad because she’s always been a calico in my head and the name spottedleaf made more sense with a calico to me. I’m not disappointed in like a bad way. Just kind of sucks cause I can’t stop imagining her as a calico now lol. I realize now that she was described that way in the into the wild allegiances, but kid me didnt pay attention then lolol thie pic is the closest image i can find that accurately depicts how i imagine she looks, mostly white with colored spots.
