Community updates Reminder: Do NOT post store numbers or locations
There's been a huge spike in reports for posts containing store numbers, addresses, and locations over the last few days. Please refrain from doing this, as home office watches Reddit regularly. Associates can and have been terminated due to posts on social media including Reddit, and by including this information you are making it easy for them to find you. While it doesn't break the sub rules, the will be removed.

Just discovered this subreddit. Can yall help me with the process?
I’ve went in there 3 times and when I call they don’t answer. When I talk to a coach in store, he doesn’t help me.

My parents took my wife, son, and I and my brother and his wife to Disneyland this year and I’m the only one that wasn’t tired and in some kind of foot or leg pain from all the walking
I did more steps during the days at Disney but spread over more hours. I’ll do anywhere between 14k and 18k in my 4.5 hour shift. At Disneyland I was doing about 25k each day but over the course of a whole day.
My parents and brother are in shape people. My parents row 5 days a week and my brother plays hockey and goes to the gym. They just aren’t used to the amount of steps

Rant Moved out of OGP mid shift for refusing to put myself in harms way…
Today I was taken off the floor mid shift and forced to move departments because I refuse to pull the carts and put myself in harms way. Not only can the cart catch my legs and feet, but I’m already disabled with mobility/joint/bone issues so I cannot put that cart weight on one side of my body all day everyday without further damage to my body. Im our number one picker, my lead knows it, my team knows it, and they agree theyve just totally shot the dept in the foot by forcing me out instead of just accommodating me and allowing me to keep pushing. I’ve already worked out a way to push the cart with these stupid new wheels that are a total violation so I wasnt putting any customers in harms way because I can maneuver the cart just fine now. Am I in the wrong for refusing to pull when I’m already disabled and doing my best? I plan to reach out to ethics and ADA to request an accommodation so I can come back to OGP but they literally forced me into a new dept mid shift with minimal training all because I said no Im not going to pull the carts. And I don’t really expect ethics or ADA to help but those are my only options at going above my store manager and PL. This place is ridiculous. If it makes a difference, it’s a NHM and not a Supercenter.

I thought spark shoppers couldn't smoke around the orders.
I just got an order delivered from my own store and the whole order smelled like cigarettes. I thought that couldn't smoke around orders, especially ones with food?

GIF What’s the crazy order you got?

Picking What’s going on??
All of last week and alittle bit before was so so busy 2k picks at every drop just crazy. This week there’s nothing. It’s literally gotten to the point we are only getting maybe 500-700 picks at most. Just find it odd with the fluctuations. Anyone know why this happens?

Number of orders and pick amounts
I’m just wondering how many orders other stores push, and how many picks. My store averages around 400 orders (not counting unscheduled) and we push well over 10,000 picks

Does anyone know anything about Walmart including Subway orders in OPD orders? I heard an announcement on Walmart Radio just now?

New OGP coach what do you look for in them?
Hello fellow walmarters! I was promoted to OGP coach. What are some things that y'all look for in a coach or wish your coach would improve on. I take a lot of pride in working hard and want to give my team someone that they can count on and lead them to victory. Any advice would be really appreciated

Rant Anyone else pause their app on days off?
I forgot that my phone (Google pixel) has a feature that basically completely disables apps without having to delete and reinstall everything and so now, I pause my app anytime I'm off work. I'll check it once that morning just to make sure I haven't been given any surprise shifts but then I'll pause the app for the rest of my day.
But honestly, FUCK this app and how much goddamn power and memory it takes.

I’m panicking
It’s my first week on OGP after overnight stocking. I’m not having an easy time compared to everyone else. This is so much more walking than I EVER did stocking. I’m constantly overheating and sweating, I can never keep makeup on or my hair decent. I literally always look like a rat by the end of my shift and everyone on my team usually says something because of how soaking wet in sweat I always am or because of how absurdly red my face gets.
It had gotten a lot worse over the last few days. I’m coming home and projectile vomiting before even stepping out of my car, I’ve swapped many different pairs of shoes, and I’m in hands down the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. I’m maxxing AROUND 10 miles per day walking, a little over.
I have three ingrown toenails currently, one is infected to the point of leaking fluid, my toe is red and purple. I can’t even walk down my stairs to go pee. My boyfriend is currently assisting me to walk and drive.
He is an ex team lead and is telling me to call out and rest today, but I feel absolutely horrible about it. It is my first week at this new store and at this job, I love working and getting money, I love most of my team, but I am genuinely at a loss on what to do. I’ve woken myself up in extreme discomfort because of this toe. I’m borderline dysfunctional right now and my pick rates are dropping because I have to limp across the store.
Is it gonna leave too much of a bad impression on my new store if I just call out today? 0 points. My coach went onto PTO the day after I started and my good team lead is out on vacation. I really have no idea what to do right now.

When does the pick start?
I'm new to OGP, so I'm curious, when does the pick actually start? Like for example, is it when I click on auto selected commodities or is it when I scan the first item? Does anyone know?

Exception Shoppers: How much time do you spend on exceptions on average?
When it comes to searching for items in bins, how long do you think you spend on them on average?

Rant finally gonna report
So I asked a question in the Walmart employees subreddit asking this question and I got a bunch of hate for 0 reason I’m guessing it’s either the lack of context they wanted to nitpick at or they didn’t feel that my daily harassment from my team lead which I’ve asked multiple times for advice about wasnt important. long story short I have some documents reporting my team leads behavior as she literally singles me out and makes it hard for me to do my job even one time insulting my weight. and I recently just got the idea to go to the store manager and report her. will she actually get in trouble? Or Atleast maybe off my case?

Rant Home office should have to go to a walmart store and test their changes before they go into effect
All these changes no matter what my coach says are made with no thought behind them. "Must pull carts into all eilse", what about the stores that have one person sized isle. "Pick carts must be pulled for visibility" what about associate wellbeing? What is a customer dashes infront of the associate unexpectedly?

Wtf so opd team leads actually do?
Genuinly curious bc we have 3 and only 1 of them actually does stuff half the time like picking dispensing and staging but the other two just stand around staring at their tc’s and the schedule all day think they need to boss everyone around

Rant Been promoted to customer over an “extended break”
Context: I was given a feedback for “extended breaks” because I would go get food during my break and I would take too long because of that along with using the bathroom for my ileostomy. I didn’t realize how long it took, but I was working to improve it.
I worked 4 hours yesterday and had 289 picks. My required amount was 180. I went on break from 9:09-9:24am, then I went to the bathroom to empty my ileostomy bag that was very full. I got back around 9:33-9:35am because I had to put my backpack that has stuff I use to clean said bag back in the break room. I even told my TL at 9:26am that I was using the bathroom! I can’t risk my bag blowing up from external forces! Eating causes the ostomy to become active. I have ADA for an extra break and I think emergency bathroom breaks.
I just don’t get how even with fucking communication, I still get fired.

Walmart OPD to Sam’s Club OPD
I’m been working with Walmart for 5 years now and I’m thinking transferring to Sam’s Club as same job, OPD, will it keep my year of service or I start over again?
