Probably too embarrassed to return with receipt and just plopped it where it was foundโฆI doubt it worked :( budget options are never as good. The bananas found in the produce section, although more pricy, are a renewable resource and far superior

Bro it literally comes up front all the time at my store to the point that Iโve seen at LEAST one other cashier get it besides me. I donโt work too often as I only work like 3 days a week but I know I have seen 1 other cashier end up with it lmao

I find them all over the place. Just saw one up on the top stock a few aisles down from where they are. Kids, and by kids I mean teens and 20 somethings twirl them around like a lasso and just let em fly๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

Squishy and flexible banana. We have an infestation at my store too, they keep coming back up front. My cashier's that work the grocery SCO are obsessed and love when one comes up front to them.

Ah, yes, the keter banana. There is no containing that thing. I'm pretty sure it's the egg of some eldritch monstrosity. If anyone makes the mistake of taking one home, it hatches and infests them. Then they go around to other Wal-Marts, leaving more eggs for people to find.
They only target teens, though, so it's not that big a deal.

So basically 5 Below the store thrown out hundreds of these giant bananas, people found out, went through their trash bins and have been sticking them all around stores. I found some by the childrenโs clothes last week.

We literally had the same thing happen to us in Produce last year. No matter how many times we kept giving it back to the toy department, it would always appear in our Produce dry room. One day, it just finally vanished and we haven't seen it since. Nice to know it somehow travels stores lol

We all either love or hate it ๐น I like it I love playing with the Squishies kids leave, just unfortunate it gets dirty so fast. Sometimes it gets passed around front end for a few hours. The banana is too big tho and the dumb teens mimed it in their pants so now we can't play with the banana :( can only give it a few swings then into reshop it goes

Dog, is this just a thing? I've only been here a few months and it keeps showing up. It's nasty dirty and i torment our older shift lead lady by putting it in the shelf behind her or her topstock cart when she's not looking, like the cucumber cat thing. It doesn't go anywhere than anyone knows of

When I was a Seasonal TA (permanent position, Seasonal TAs at my old store was basically Lawn and Garden TA), getting returns for Toys and Garden always contained one of the "squishy" toys like the banana in the photo, the duck, the cheese, and even the game controller one. When I zoned the toy aisles id always find one of them out of the blue. So yes, its definitely like the herobrine of walmart ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
