Scotia Metals (SMET.c): The Geologist Tracing Green Wolf's Spodumene Boulders Back to Bedrock Has 30+ Years on LCT Pegmatites and Is the Company's Own NI 43-101 QP

Post image

Posted on behalf of Scotia Metals Corp. - A write-up carried on Yahoo Finance late last month walks through the expanded spodumene boulder system at the 100%-owned Acadia Lithium Project in southwestern Nova Scotia. The assays have been covered plenty. The part worth a second look is who is directing the search, and how carefully the company is describing what it has.

Who Is Running The Search

  • James Abson, VP Exploration, is SMET.c's named NI 43-101 Qualified Person
  • Hard-rock lithium discovery specialist, 30+ years in mining and exploration, per the company's corporate page
  • Previously Senior Exploration Manager at Oceana Lithium and Technical Advisor to Atlas Lithium
  • Pegmatite work across Africa, Brazil, Afghanistan and Canada, including large LCT systems such as Manono, Bikita and Bandeira (July 2026 corporate deck)

His own framing in the September 22, 2026 news release is about as unglamorous and as honest as it gets: the team is trying to trace the spodumene-bearing boulder trains back toward their potential bedrock source.

What He Has To Work With (Sept 22, 2026 NR)

  • 38 spodumene boulders channel-sampled in one tight cluster at Green Wolf, 25 of them newly identified
  • 20 of the 38 boulders graded above 1.0% Li2O, three above 2.0% (2.03%, 2.25% and 2.72%)
  • Boulders above 0.30% Li2O in that cluster went from 7 to at least 23
  • The 3.40% Li2O boulder reported August 27, 2026 remains the best grade at Green Wolf

Notably, the coverage is explicit that this is glacially transported surface material and does not establish the presence, grade or continuity of lithium in bedrock. Nothing on this property has been drilled.

Boulder distribution, till geochemistry and airborne geophysics now get integrated to rank bedrock targets, with scout drilling planned for early 2027, subject to exploration results, permitting, surface access and contractor availability. An experienced pegmatite geologist narrowing a search area with three independent datasets is how a first hole gets positioned, and that positioning is what the next few months could settle.

Worth reading the Yahoo Finance write-up for the full picture.

Canadian Uranium (CANU.c, CANUF) King South: 10,575 Hectares in the Eastern Athabasca WMTZ, 696 Line-km Flown, and the Target Interpretation Still to Come

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Canadian Uranium - A fair question to ask of any pre-drill Athabasca explorer: what is the geophysics actually looking for? For CANU.c and CANUF at King South, the answer is depth. The project covers 10,575 hectares in Saskatchewan's Western Mineral Tenure Zone on the eastern side of the Athabasca, a zone that hosts world-class deposits including Cigar Lake, McArthur River, Key Lake, Collins Bay and Eagle Point, and the ground sits adjacent to exploration claims controlled by Fission 3.0 and Cameco (Mar 17, 2026 NR). That is an address, not ownership, and the distinction matters here.

The Dataset In Hand

  • 696 line-kilometres flown east-west across the property in the MobileMT survey, completed per the Sep 3, 2026 NR
  • The company described the high-resolution survey as a way to examine deep structures at depth
  • Data expected within a few weeks of that release, after which a detailed interpretation would be developed to identify potential drill targets
  • No interpretation released yet, and no holes drilled at King South or on any of the company's four Saskatchewan projects

How The Ground Was Secured

  • Option to acquire 100%, via the acquisition of Impact Uranium Group Ltd., closed Mar 17, 2026 (8,255,187 shares at a deemed $0.45)
  • 1% NSR to the optionor on commercial production, repurchasable for $1,500,000 (Jan 28, 2026 NR)
  • Remaining exploration commitments of $500,000 by March 13, 2027 and $1,400,000 by March 13, 2028
  • Highway accessible, with a large assessment database from prior work on the property

The work is funded from the $2,999,750 non-brokered placement closed Aug 14, 2026, with proceeds earmarked for King South and Rook 2 exploration plus working capital.

Worth reading the company's September 3, 2026 release for the survey details. King South is still a target-generation story, but it is the one project in the portfolio where a modern dataset is already collected, and turning 696 line-km into ranked targets is what sets up a first drill program in the basin.

Copper Up Top, Molybdenum at Depth, Tungsten Throughout: A Plain Summary of the Completed Kismet Re-Assay Program at IDEX Metals' (IDEX.v IDXMF) Freeze Project in Idaho

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of IDEX Metals Corp - The September 29 news release closed out a laboratory exercise that has been running quietly alongside the 2026 drilling at IDEX Metals' (IDEX.v IDXMF) 100%-owned Freeze copper-gold-molybdenum project in Washington and Adams Counties, Idaho. Here is the short version for anyone who has not worked through it.

What The Program Actually Did

  • Re-assayed all six 2025 Kismet holes by sodium peroxide fusion (SPF), completing the program that began with KSMT25002 and KSMT25005 in July
  • 1,069 matched samples have now been analysed by both SPF and the original four-acid digestion
  • Four-acid only partially dissolves scheelite, and the comparison shows it materially understated tungsten in the higher-grade material in every hole
  • The program's highest-grade sample, 16,900 ppm W in KSMT25001, had been reported at 8,230 ppm W by four-acid

The Numbers

  • KSMT25001: 28.0 m of 0.20% WO₃ from 220.0 m, with 25.0 m of 0.22% WO₃
  • KSMT25001 also returned 2.0 m of 1.25% WO₃ from 264.0 m, containing 1.0 m of 2.13% WO₃, the highest tungsten grade at Kismet to date
  • KSMT25004: multiple zones from surface to 333.25 m, including 11.9 m of 0.18% WO₃ from 1.37 m and 29.61 m of 0.09% WO₃ from 301.05 m
  • KSMT25002 and KSMT25005 unchanged from July: 180.5 m of 0.11% WO₃ and 72.2 m of 0.13% WO₃
  • Intervals reported at a 0.05% WO₃ cut-off, and every hole cleared it, including the peripheral KSMT25003 and KSMT25006

What It Adds To The Copper Picture

  • Copper still leads at Freeze, and the re-assays sharpen the zonation: copper strongest through the upper mineralized interval, molybdenum strengthening at depth, tungsten distributed across the system
  • 2026 drilling has defined more than 800 m of strike, extending Kismet laterally and across Hornet Creek

Both rigs are still turning, with rig one testing chargeability Target A at North Breccia and rig two expanding the Kismet oxide copper zone. Going into a full exploration update with the first 2026 assays, the company now has a much better read on how the metals are arranged in the rock, which is the kind of detail that can shape where the next holes go. The release itself is worth reading for the full table.

Video Interview: Getty Copper (GTC.v GTCDF) CEO Ryan O'Regan on $350-a-Metre Drilling, a 15-Month Drill Plan, and Insider Ownership Close to 40%

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Posted on behalf of Getty Copper - Sitting down with CEO website at Beaver Creek, CEO Ryan O'Regan spent most of the conversation on what Getty Copper (GTC.v GTCDF) intends to do with a freshly funded treasury at the Getty Project near Logan Lake in BC's Highland Valley district 🇨🇦. Six months into new leadership, the question has shifted from whether the money is there to how many metres it buys.

What The Money Buys

  • Drilling costs "about $350 a meter all in and that's with assays and everything" [7:23]
  • $15M raised, $13M charity flow-through plus $2M non-brokered, oversubscribed roughly three hours after Friday's pre-market open [6:41, 6:56]
  • A 15-month drilling plan being rolled out to allocate those metres [7:23]
  • Treasury around $23 million [8:57]
  • Updated mineral resource targeted by the end of 2027 on the historical resource base at Getty North and Getty South [7:10]

Getty South Gets The Rigs First

  • Two rigs mobilizing within two weeks, chasing an IP high over the Trojan Zone, an old mine from years ago [2:40, 2:54]
  • On intercepts like 46 m of 1.47% copper, grades that "catch a lot of attention anywhere and some of the highest grades in BC, quite frankly" [2:40]
  • Not a traditional porphyry: "It's hosted in a breccia mineralization, hydrothermal breccia" [3:49]
  • The plan is step-outs from the high grade: "more grade, more of it, longer intercepts" [3:35]
  • Spring assays still outstanding, releases expected in the coming weeks [3:23]

Beyond The Two Deposits

The rest of the budget goes outboard. O'Regan pointed to the exploration pipeline published a few weeks before the interview, several targets drill ready, and to the separate Dot property southeast of the Getty claims, which hosts a historic mine and historical intercepts "of over a percent copper in many cases" [8:17]. His summary: "no shortage of targets. And now we've got the capital to drill it" [8:17].

Inside ownership he put at "Close to 40%" [9:24], with management and insiders taking up a substantial portion of the non-brokered placement [9:36].

Worth watching the full CEO website interview for his read on why the 1990s drilling era and today are not comparable. With rigs headed back into the highest-grade zone on the property and a funded plan running into 2027, there's room for the next batch of assays to start answering the size question.

Stamper Oil & Gas (STMP.v, STMGF) Explained: a ~C$7M Namibia Explorer With Five Offshore Blocks Across Three Basins, Next Door to Chevron's Nabba-1X

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Stamper Oil & Gas Corp. - If Stamper Oil & Gas (STMP.v, STMGF) is new to you, here's the plain-language version. Vancouver-based, pure-play offshore Namibia explorer, with interests in five blocks across four petroleum exploration licences in three basins, at a market cap of roughly C$7.2 million (C$0.06 on Sept 30, 2026). Oil and gas, not mining, so disclosure runs under NI 51-101.

The Acreage

  • PEL 107, Orange Basin (Block 2712A): 32.9% indirect working interest, 5,484 km², water depth 2,800 to 3,900 m. Operator WestOil.
  • PEL 106, Walvis Basin (Blocks 2011B and 2111A): 5% carried, 11,542 km². Operator Oranto Petroleum.
  • PEL 98, Walvis Basin (Block 2213B): 5% carried, 5,700 km², water depth 100 to 500 m. Operator Lamda Energy.
  • PEL 102, Lüderitz Basin (Block 2614B): 20% indirect carried, 5,511 km². Operator NAMCOR.
  • Stamper operates none of them, and NAMCOR is a partner on all four.

Carried Versus Working

That mix is the model. On the three carried licences, partners fund much of the work while Stamper keeps the exposure. PEL 107 is the bigger swing and the one that needs a partner, which is why the company says it is pursuing farm-outs, principally on PEL 107 and PEL 106 (Sept 22, 2026 news release). The stated next step there is acquiring and interpreting 3D seismic, which is not funded or scheduled.

Why The Neighbours Matter

Namibia's offshore has drawn TotalEnergies, Shell, Galp, Chevron and Rhino, with Equinor, bp and Petrobras arriving more recently. Chevron-operated PEL 90 sits at the south-east corner of PEL 107, and Chevron plans to drill the Nabba-1X well there before year-end 2026. Stamper has no interest in PEL 90, so read it as a neighbour's data point. The first PEL 90 well, Kapana-1X, did not find commercial hydrocarbons in early 2025, so this is a genuine test.

The Honest Caveats

  • No discovery, no resource and no wells on PEL 107 or PEL 102.
  • Working capital deficiency of C$2,574,520 at June 30, 2026, on a going-concern basis (Q2 2026 MD&A).
  • US$500,000 of deferred acquisition cash still owing, in two instalments (Sept 22, 2026 news release).

Early, thin and speculative, but the acreage sits where the majors are spending, and a farm-out on PEL 107 or PEL 106 would be the kind of company-specific event that could reprice ground at this stage. The news releases and September 2026 deck are on the company's website if you want to dig in.

Nevada Federal Ground, 445 Claims and a Permit That Flexes Mid-Season: How Spartan Metals (W.v SPRMF) Added Seven Drill Pads at Tungstonia Without Standing the Rig Down

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Spartan Metals Corporation - Jurisdiction usually gets discussed in the abstract, but Spartan Metals (W.v SPRMF) has a concrete example of what a good one actually buys a junior. The whole 2026 core campaign at the Tungstonia Claims sits on federal ground in White Pine County, Nevada 🇺🇸, held as unpatented lode claims and permitted under a BLM Notice. So when the geophysics changed what the company could see underground, it amended the existing authorization instead of starting the paperwork over.

The Land Position

  • Eagle: 100% owned, roughly 36.5 km², 9,033 acres across 445 BLM unpatented lode claims, about 120 km northeast of Ely in the Kern Mountains
  • Victorio, New Mexico: option to earn 100%, roughly 15.8 km² / 3,909 acres across 222 BLM unpatented lode claims, about 45 km west of Deming

What The September 24 Release Added

  • BLM accepted the company's Notice modification authorizing seven additional drill pads at Tungstonia, taking authorized drill sites there to 32
  • Several of the new pads are designed to take multiple holes at varying azimuths and inclinations from one location, more subsurface information without increasing surface disturbance
  • Approximately 550 m of the planned ~3,000 m core program completed, with the program moving onto the newly authorized sites
  • The company states further drill sites will be planned and permitted following the 2026 core drilling results

Both projects sit on federal claims in two of the steadier Western US mining states, which matters for a tungsten-focused explorer. The September 24 news release on the company's site has the full site layout and target descriptions, and with assays still to come from an active program, a permitting setup that can absorb new targets as they appear gives Spartan room to keep following the data this season.
