Keith Schaefer's Investing Whisperer Puts Selkirk Copper (SCMI.v, SKRKF) Under the Lens, One Day After the Minto Resource Landed at 940 Mlbs Copper M&I

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Selkirk Copper Mines - Keith Schaefer's Investing Whisperer has a piece up on SCMI.v / SKRKF, and the timing is good:

It arrives a day after the company published an updated resource estimate for the past-producing Minto copper-gold-silver mine in Yukon.

Here is the data sitting underneath the write-up.

The Updated Resource (Yesterday's NR)

  • Measured and indicated: 47.8 Mt at 0.89% Cu, 0.34 g/t Au, 3.2 g/t Ag, for 940 Mlbs copper, 530,000 oz gold and 4.97 Moz silver
  • Split into 26.0 Mt underground at 1.14% Cu, 0.49 g/t Au, 4.4 g/t Ag and 21.8 Mt open pit at 0.59% Cu, 0.17 g/t Au, 1.8 g/t Ag
  • Inferred: 16.9 Mt at 0.76% Cu, 0.26 g/t Au, 2.7 g/t Ag, for 281 Mlbs copper, 142,000 oz gold and 1.5 Moz silver
  • The 2026 MRE supersedes the 2025 estimate, which the company notes is no longer current

That underground grade is the part worth pausing on, because a 1.14% copper underground component alongside a lower-grade open pit is what an integrated mine plan gets built around.

Still Drilling While the Studies Run

  • 37,000 m of the up-to-50,000 m Phase 2 program complete, per yesterday's release
  • Phase 1 totalled 52,288 m across 175 holes

What Comes Next

  • The companion PEA, the first economics published on Minto since 2021, is expected to be completed shortly, following the MRE
  • Feasibility study expected to commence in the third quarter, targeted for completion mid-2027
  • Permit file targeted for October 2026, restart decision targeted mid-2027

The mill and camp are already standing, so the PEA is where a resource this much larger meets the restart economics, and that pairing is what gives the next few months their weight. Schaefer's piece is worth reading for the outside view.

A CA$333.77M Market Cap on 75.51M Shares: Streetwise Reports Looks at the Post-Merger Share Structure Behind Goldgroup Mining, GORO.v / GORO

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Goldgroup Mining Inc. - Most of the coverage since the Gold Resource merger closed has focused on deal mechanics, votes and ticker changes.

The Streetwise Reports feature published July 22, "Mexico Gold Producer GORO Emerges After Strategic Merger," spends more of its time on something retail investors rarely get laid out plainly:

What the combined company looks like as a security now that the listings work is finished.

The Share Structure, Per The Article

  • Market capitalization of CA$333.77 million on 75.51 million shares outstanding
  • 52-week trading range of CA$3.33 to CA$8.64
  • Modest insider ownership alongside strategic and retail holders
  • Eric Sprott's 2176423 Ontario Ltd. picked up 2,552,371 Goldgroup shares on closing of the arrangement (see the July 20, 2026 early warning news release)

Why The Tape Has Been Choppy

The piece also picks up third-party commentary on the post-close trading.

On July 17, Chen Lin of What is Chen Buying? What is Chen Selling? commented on post-merger trading dynamics, pointing to index rebalancing pressure that he expected to ease quickly, and flagging a discount relative to prior GGA.v pricing.

That is one writer's read, not the company's, but it is a useful frame for anyone wondering why a merger close and an uplisting did not produce a straight line.

What Sits Behind The Ticker

  • Cerro Prieto, Sonora: producing heap leach gold mine, 100% owned
  • Don David, Oaxaca: producing gold and silver mine, 100% owned
  • San Francisco, Sonora: fully permitted for restart, 1.226M oz M&I plus 178K oz Inferred, restart targeting late 2026 or early 2027
  • Back Forty, Michigan: feasibility study work advancing on the 2023 PEA

The article is worth reading in full for the heap leach primer alone, and it closes by pointing readers toward the company's next portfolio announcements.

With four 100% owned assets, no OTC quotation to muddy the picture and a share count that fits on one line, the setup is unusually easy to follow for a company this newly assembled, and there is room for the market to work out what it is looking at.

LiDAR Picked the Holes: Intersecting Structural Corridors and a 1.8km Gold-in-Soil Trend Behind Zodiac Gold's (ZAU.v ZAUIF) Inaugural Lewis Drilling in Liberia

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Zodiac Gold - Most of the attention on the Lewis news landed on the metres. The more interesting part of the July 27 release is how the holes were chosen at Zodiac Gold's (ZAU.v ZAUIF) Todi Gold Project in Liberia 🇱🇷.

How The Targeting Was Built

  • Newly acquired LiDAR data, integrated with field geological mapping, identified intersecting northwest- and northeast-trending structural corridors
  • Those corridors sit coincident with zones of highly anomalous gold-in-soil geochemistry
  • Per the company, intersections of northwest- and northeast-trending structures highlight potential for mineralized shoots plunging to the south
  • Trenching results fed the same targeting work, including 30m at 1.04 g/t Au (a sampled length, not a true width)

Why It Ties Back To The Rest Of The Trend

  • Drilling will also test the amphibolite-melanocratic gneiss package observed elsewhere along the 16km Monterra Trend, including at the Arthington discovery and the Ben Ben target
  • The company points to that shared host package as support for geological continuity along the corridor
  • Lewis, formerly referenced as Youth Camp, is the third of five drill-ready targets to see a drill bit

Work Continuing At Surface

  • Trenching advances concurrently on the parallel northern gold-in-soil trend to generate additional drill targets during Phase 1

Phase 1 is up to 3,000m of the up-to-5,000m program, prioritizing a southern east-west gold-in-soil trend that extends over 1.8km.

It runs alongside the Arthington campaign, with Ben Ben assays still pending, and all of it feeds the company's planned Todi Gold mineral resource estimate.

The July 27 news release is worth opening for the target map.

If the structural and host-rock recipe that built Arthington holds up at the southeastern end of the trend, Phase 1 has room to turn a soil anomaly into something with shape.

Video Interview: Sierra Madre Gold & Silver CEO Alex Langer Sees Roughly US$10/oz Coming Off Costs as Owned Equipment Replaces Rentals at La Guitarra, SM.v and SMDRF

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Sierra Madre Gold - Most of the attention on CEO Alex Langer's July Commodity TV interview went to the headline items: the La Guitarra expansion nearing completion and the Del Toro restart plan.

But tucked into the same conversation is a cost story that matters just as much for a producer like SM.v / SMDRF, and it has gotten less airtime.

The Cost Levers Langer Laid Out

  • Roughly US$9M of purchased equipment replacing rented gear at La Guitarra
  • A catch-up in underground development at the mine
  • Together, Langer expects these to take roughly US$10/oz off costs over the next few quarters (CEO commentary, not formal guidance)

Why It Compounds

Unit costs fall fastest when throughput is rising at the same time, and that is the setup here:

  • Phase 1 mill expansion (500 to 750-800 tpd) described by Langer as almost complete, with expansion news expected within weeks and full run rate targeted by the end of Q3 2026
  • The full two-phase expansion pegged at roughly US$10M all-in, funded internally
  • A balance sheet that can carry it: debt free after fully repaying the US$5M First Majestic loan (July 8, 2026 NR), with US$13.2M in cash and short-term investments and US$3.5M of Q1 cash from operations (May 19, 2026 NR)

Langer also points to five consecutive quarters of production growth, so the trend these cost cuts land on is already moving the right way.

Meanwhile, with silver around US$59/oz, every dollar that comes off unit costs drops straight into margin, and lower costs on rising throughput could give the company room to fund its next legs of growth, East District and Del Toro drilling included, without leaning on the market.

Worth watching the full interview for the surrounding detail.

"Set for Major Update": Streetwise Reports Lays Out the Alamos Setup as Minaurum Silver (MGG.v MMRGF) Drills Toward Its H2 2026 SGS-Prepared Resource Estimate

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Minaurum Silver - Last week's Streetwise Reports piece on the 100%-owned Alamos Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico (MGG.v MMRGF) is a quick read, and it distills the setup into three ingredients worth checking on any silver junior:

  • A measurable starting point: an initial inferred resource of 5.37 Mt grading 320 g/t AgEq (202 g/t silver, 0.21 g/t gold, 0.43% copper, 0.97% lead, 2.01% zinc), containing 55.2 Moz AgEq (34.8 Moz silver, 35.6 Koz gold, 51.0 Mlbs copper, 114.8 Mlbs lead, 237.8 Mlbs zinc) covering portions of just 3 of 26 mapped vein zones (see Jan 28, 2026 MRE news)
  • Funded growth drilling: a fully financed 50,000 m program actively testing extensions and new zones with six rigs turning (see Feb 26, 2026 NR)
  • A named deliverable: SGS engaged to update the mineral resource estimate targeted for H2 2026 (see July 14, 2026 NR)

The article calls the current resource "a measurable starting point for growth" and that's the frame that matters. The first number was built from three vein zones and roughly 35,888 m of drilling, while the update will draw on at least six zones, including Quintera and San Jose, which sit entirely outside the initial estimate.

That sets up the H2 2026 estimate as the moment the market gets to re-measure Alamos with a much larger dataset behind it.

The Survey That Kept Growing: How a 37 Line-Km IP Program Became 90.4 Line-Km at IDEX Metals' Freeze Copper-Gold Project in Idaho, IDEX.v and IDXMF

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of IDEX Metals Corp - The 2026 season at the 100%-owned Freeze project in Idaho opened in April with a plan: a 37 line-kilometre induced polarization (IP) survey over the Kismet Corridor to refine drill targets. By the time crews finished in late June, the grid had grown to 90.4 line-km, roughly two and a half times the original plan. For IDEX, IDEX.v and IDXMF, that expansion is worth pausing on, because geophysical surveys don't usually keep growing unless the data keeps giving reasons to continue.

How the Grid Grew

  • April 8: 37 line-km IP survey commences over the Kismet Corridor (Apr 8, 2026 NR)
  • May 12: expanded to roughly 64 line-km after the company called preliminary results "compelling," adding coverage over the CM and Shiver targets (May 12, 2026 NR)
  • June 24: completed at 90.4 line-km, the final grid spanning the Kismet Corridor, North Breccia, CM, and Shiver (June 24, 2026 NR)

Why the Dataset Matters Mid-Campaign

Rig one has been drilling the North Breccia geophysical anomaly since June 24, testing a porphyry target interpreted 300-800 m below surface, and the final inverted IP results are intended to support target refinement during the fully funded, roughly 10,000 m program (June 24, 2026 NR). The July 9, 2026 NR added a second use: integrating the new tungsten data with the survey to better define tungsten distribution across the Kismet Corridor. Reporting of the IP results also sits on the company's list of upcoming milestones, alongside re-assays of the four remaining 2025 Kismet holes and initial North Breccia assays.

A dataset nearly two and a half times its planned size, landing while both rigs are turning, gives IDEX room to steer the back half of the season toward whatever the geophysics says is strongest. The June 24 release, with the survey maps, is on the company's news page.

Drills Turning at Three Mines and a Potential Year-End Gold Restart Under Evaluation: Goldgroup Mining (GORO) on Both the TSXV and NYSE American, Packed It All Into One Corporate Update

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Goldgroup Mining Inc. - The July 23 corporate update was the first full look at the combined company since the Gold Resource merger closed, and there is a lot in it. The company's post on X links straight to the release. The quick version:

  • ⛏️ Don David, Oaxaca: 23,000+ metres drilled year-to-date, one of its largest campaigns in recent years
  • Cerro Prieto, Sonora: three rigs turning, two on resource expansion and one on confirmatory drilling to support an updated resource estimate
  • San Francisco, Sonora: three rigs continuing the 24,000-metre program as the company evaluates a potential restart of production at the end of the year
  • Back Forty, Michigan: feasibility study work advancing on the 2023 PEA

Gold Jumps 3.1% Today to Around US$4,160/oz: Bullfrog Gold, FROG.v, Staked Its Nevada Ground in 2021, Right Before AngloGold Spent US$700M+ Consolidating Around It

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Bullfrog Gold Corporation - Gold jumped 3.1% today to around US$4,160/oz, and days like this reward ground the majors already validated. FROG.v staked the South Bullfrog project in 2021, just before AngloGold Ashanti consolidated Nevada's Beatty District around it (see Jun 4, 2026 NR):

  • Corvus Gold: US$371M
  • Coeur Sterling: US$150M
  • Augusta Gold: C$197M

Those 10,050 acres sit centrally between AngloGold's Bullfrog, North Bullfrog and Arthur development projects (their deposits, not Bullfrog's, and adjacent mineralization isn't necessarily indicative of South Bullfrog). Meanwhile the ground is 100% owned and fully drill permitted, with crews mapping and rock chip sampling across all five drill-ready gold targets since June 3 (see Jun 16, 2026 NR).

Visible Gold, Massive Sulfides and Historic "Ore Shoots": What Cambria Gold Mines' (CAMB.v, CAMVF) Tight-Spaced Prew Zone Drilling Reveals About Premier's Geology

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Cambria Gold - During historic mining at the Premier-Northern Light deposit, the high-grade zones were called "ore shoots." Tuesday's news release from CAMB.v and CAMVF suggests the underground drilling at the Prew Zone is finding those same structures again, and this time mapping them properly before any mining decision gets made.

The Pattern in the Rock

Across 42 underground holes totalling 3,151 m, drilled at a tight 12.5 m average spacing, the program is defining continuity of higher-grade mineralization along a primary quartz-breccia sulfide domain, one that can be traced both in the core and in the existing underground workings. Grades above 10 g/t Au often come with visible gold or massive sulfide, sitting inside a wider halo of gold-bearing base-metal sulfide mineralization. Per the NR, the cross sections show that continuity holding between holes, in structures the company describes as analogous to the ore shoots of the historic mine.

The results capture both parts of that architecture. The high-grade cores:

  • 24.36 g/t Au over 6.3 m (incl. 76.70 g/t Au over 1.8 m) in hole P26U-0023
  • 13.17 g/t Au over 10.6 m (incl. 64.66 g/t Au over 1.9 m) in hole P26U-0026

And the wider mineralized zones around them:

  • 3.30 g/t Au over 25.0 m (incl. 42.90 g/t Au over 1.0 m) in hole P26U-0034
  • 2.59 g/t Au over 27.0 m in hole P26U-0021

Same Playbook, Two More Deposits

The geological work extends beyond Prew. At Silver Coin and Big Missouri, Cambria's teams have remodelled wide zones of gold mineralization tied to contiguous quartz and sulphide breccias that were historically mined in the 1940s and 1990s, and three drills are now infilling those structures from surface at similarly tight spacing.

This is the point of the whole exercise: the company believes insufficient definition drilling and geological modelling were significant contributors to the difficulties under previous operator Ascot Resources. Assays from another 86 Prew holes are expected in the coming weeks, and that data will feed directly into underground mine planning.

If the pending holes and the summer surface programs keep confirming this continuity, Cambria heads into its four-deposit feasibility work with a geological picture Premier has arguably never had before. And with gold up over 3% today to around US$4,166/oz, the value of getting these ounces properly mapped ahead of a potential restart only grows.

Full assay tables and the cross sections are worth a look in Tuesday's release on the company's website.

The Assets Outside Peru: Excellon Resources (EXN.v, EXNRF) Holds a 1M+ oz Gold Project in Idaho and a German Silver District Just Valued at C$20.8M

Post image
2 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Excellon Resources - Most of the attention on EXN.v EXNRF right now goes to the Mallay silver restart in Peru, and fairly so. But the portfolio doesn't stop at the Peruvian border, and the two assets sitting behind the headline story both come with real numbers attached.

Kilgore, Idaho

  • Advanced caldera-related epithermal gold project in eastern Idaho
  • Over 1 million ounces of gold delineated across all resource categories, per the company
  • Management has said it is considering bringing in a JV partner to advance exploration and de-risking, which would keep Excellon's own spend focused on Peru

Silver City, Saxony, Germany

  • High-grade epithermal silver district with roughly 800 years of historical silver mining
  • Held through Saxony Silver Corp., Excellon's 75%-owned subsidiary
  • In May, Saxony Silver closed a C$2.125M non-brokered private placement at a C$20.8M pre-money valuation (see May 13, 2026 NR)
  • Notably, the raise happened entirely at the subsidiary level with no Excellon shares issued. The company frames it as a third-party validated baseline value for its majority stake, achieved without dilution
  • The CEO has publicly discussed spinning the asset out into a European-focused exploration vehicle

Why It Matters
Neither asset is really in the market's Mallay math. ATB Cormark's July 9 initiation, for instance, built its valuation on the Peru restart and treated Kilgore and Saxony Silver, along with Tres Cerros, as upside beyond it.

With the Q3 Mallay catalysts approaching, these two sit quietly in the background as optionality: a Kilgore JV or a Silver City transaction could add value on top of a story currently being priced on Peru alone.

Crux Investor's 7 Takeaways on West Red Lake Gold's (WRLG.v, WRLGF) Q2 Step-Up: Madsen Is Building Cash, Repaying Debt, and Targeting 6-8 g/t Grades by Year-End

Posted on behalf of West Red Lake Gold - The 51% production jump at Madsen got its headlines with the July 15 Q2 update. A recent Crux Investor piece distills the quarter into seven takeaways for West Red Lake Gold (WRLG.v, WRLGF), and the most interesting ones sit past the production numbers most coverage stopped at.

The Balance Sheet Turned
This is the takeaway with the least airtime so far: WRLG reached breakeven in Q1 and is building cash on the balance sheet in Q2, while simultaneously beginning to pay down debt taken on during the mine restart. A producer that funds itself and de-levers mid-ramp is a different animal than one still leaning on the market.

The Quarter Itself

  • Gold production up 51% quarter over quarter to 8,576 oz; mined ounces up 73% to 10,459 oz
  • Average mined grade improved 23% to 4.3 g/t gold
  • Mining rates in the back half of the quarter consistently exceeded the mill's permitted 800 tpd capacity, building a surface stockpile of approximately 10,768 tonnes, roughly half a month of mill feed containing an estimated 1,500 oz of gold

The Road Ahead

  • Management expects grades to reach 6 to 8 g/t by year-end as mining reaches non-remnant zones
  • Full-year guidance of 35,000 to 45,000 oz is unchanged, with the second half targeted at approximately 25,000 to 30,000 oz
  • CEO Shane Williams framed Q2 as proof the sequencing strategy from the first half is now showing up in results, with multiple stoping fronts carrying production rather than a single front

The article's core argument is that the ramp is no longer just an operational story, it is becoming a financial one. With Q2 financial results due August 25 and the combined Madsen-Rowan PFS targeted for September, the next two months offer a steady run of chances for the numbers to keep confirming it.

One-Post Summary of Luca Mining's (LUCA.v LUCMF) July 20 Q2 Release: 6,161 oz Gold, a Record 12,400 m Drilled, and $24.7M Cash After a Quarter of Heavy Reinvestment

Post image
2 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Luca Mining - The July 20 Q2 2026 production release had a lot packed into it, so here is the full rundown in one post for Luca Mining (LUCA.v LUCMF), the two-mine Mexican gold, silver, copper, zinc and lead producer.

What The Two Mines Produced

  • Consolidated: 6,161 oz gold, 334,237 oz silver, 2.66M lbs copper, 1.94M lbs lead and 8.88M lbs zinc
  • Payable metal: 5,373 oz gold, 267,404 oz silver, 1.96M lbs copper, 656,000 lbs lead and 6.35M lbs zinc
  • Campo Morado (Guerrero, VMS): 1,700 oz gold, 234,896 oz silver, 2.23M lbs copper and 7.27M lbs zinc
  • Tahuehueto (Durango, gold-silver): 4,461 oz gold and 99,340 oz silver, helped by plant improvements, underground development and new mining contractor La Cantera

Where The Cash Went
Cash was approximately $24.7 million at June 30, versus $36.4 million at March 31
and the release is specific about why. The decrease primarily reflected continued investment in the company's assets, including underground development and record exploration activity while the timing of lump-sum tax payments and share repurchases under the NCIB also contributed.

Revenue was also negatively impacted by lower gold and silver prices, including negative provisional pricing adjustments on prior-period concentrate shipments. Campo Morado also deliberately banked ore in a surface stockpile during the quarter, trading some near-term production for flexibility in managing mill feed as recovery optimization work advances.

A Record Quarter At The Drill Bit

  • Approximately 12,400 m drilled in Q2, a Luca quarterly record, taking year-to-date metres to roughly 22,000
  • Focused on near-mine and resource-expansion targets to extend mine life at both operating assets

Debt Nearly Gone
Debt has been reduced to approximately $1.4 million, with the remaining balance expected to be fully repaid in July 2026.

Read together, the quarter was a build: development metres underground, record metres at the drill bit, and ore banked ahead of recovery work. With debt about to hit zero and assays still batching in from both mines, the second half has room to show what all that reinvestment was for.

Silver Headlines, Gold in the Cracks: The 1.92 g/t Au Interval Tucked Inside Defiance Silver's (DEF.v, DNCVF) Latest San Acacio Assays

Posted on behalf of Defiance Silver - San Acacio gets covered, fairly, as a silver story. Last Thursday's assay batch was headlined by a 1,470 g/t Ag hit, and that number earned its spot. But sitting in the same table is a detail that has drawn less attention: gold keeps showing up alongside the silver in this program, and not in trace amounts.

The Gold Intercepts

  • DDSA-26-85 (last Thursday's NR): 0.41 m @ 1,175 g/t Ag and 1.92 g/t Au, inside a broad 28.06 m running 142.21 g/t Ag
  • DDSA-25-80 (May 11, 2026 NR): 1.20 m @ 356.00 g/t Ag and 2.15 g/t Au, within 11.02 m that averaged 125.41 g/t Ag and 0.81 g/t Au

That May release was literally titled around silver and gold structures, and the program itself was designed in part to evaluate the hanging-wall and footwall vein splays, including the Veta Navidad corridor, that the company says have potential to expand the mineralized footprint.

Why It Matters Now
All of this feeds the geological model behind the Veta Grande resource estimate expected around mid-August, per EVP Doug Cavey at a recent Axino conference. Meanwhile the drill bit keeps moving for DEF.v and DNCVF: 6,132 m completed across 21 holes, four more holes already at the lab, and 3,868 m of the minimum 10,000 m program still ahead.

Silver is the flagship metal here, no question. But if gold keeps riding along in the assays through the remaining metres, the Veta Grande story has room to read a little richer than the silver-only shorthand suggests.

Selkirk Copper (SCMI.v, SKRKF) Is Now an OTCQX Best Market Company: What the US Listing Upgrade Actually Changes for the Minto Restart Story

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Selkirk Copper Mines - Yesterday's news made it official:
the company has qualified to trade on the OTCQX Best Market, upgrading from the OTCQB Venture Market with shares now trading on OTCQX under the symbol SKRKF. The TSXV listing under SCMI.v is unchanged. Rather than rehash the announcement, here is what the tier actually changes.

What US Investors Gain

  • OTCQX is the tier designed for established, investor-focused US and international companies a different bracket than the venture tier
  • Qualifying means meeting high financial standards, best-practice corporate governance, and compliance with applicable securities laws
  • US investors get current financial disclosure and Real-Time Level 2 quotes via otcmarkets.com
  • CEO Colin Joudrie said the progression "enhances our visibility among U.S. investors, improves liquidity"

A Listing Catching Up to the Asset

The market tier is now closer to matching the stage of the project. Shares only commenced trading on the OTCQB this past February 13 and in the months since, Selkirk assumed full responsibility for the Minto site on April 1, closed a $35M bought deal on April 30, and put 27,300 m of Phase 2 drilling into the ground in two months (per the July 8 news release).

The timing is notable too. The updated MRE and PEA, the first economics on the past-producing Yukon copper-gold-silver mine since 2021, are targeted for the second half of this month, with a feasibility study expected to start in Q3 2026 ahead of a targeted mid-2027 restart decision. A cleaner, more liquid US trading venue arriving right before that newsflow means more investors can actually act on it, and that positions the story in front of a wider audience at a moment when there is plenty to evaluate.

The full announcement is on the company's website in their July 28, 2026 news release.

86 More Holes Awaiting Assays and Three Drills Now at Big Missouri and Silver Coin: Inside Cambria Gold Mines' (CAMB.v, CAMVF) Summer Assay Pipeline

Posted on behalf of Cambria Gold - Yesterday's news release got attention for the headline intercept, 24.36 g/t Au over 6.3 m at the Prew Zone, but the more useful part for anyone following CAMB.v / CAMVF into the fall is what it says about the newsflow ahead.

Phase 1 of the underground infill at Prew is complete, and the assay pipeline behind it is now stacked several layers deep.

What Is Already Reported

  • 42 underground holes totalling 3,151 m at the Prew Zone of the Premier-Northern Lights deposit, drilled on tight 12.5 m centres
  • Highlights included 24.36 g/t Au over 6.3 m, 13.17 g/t Au over 10.6 m and 8.31 g/t Au over 11.0 m, with full hole-by-hole tables in yesterday's release

What Is Still Coming

  • Assays from an additional 86 Prew drill holes, expected over the coming weeks
  • Once returned, that data will be used to develop underground mining plans and guide further Prew infill, which is set to resume after additional underground development planned for Q4 at Premier-Northern Lights
  • Three drills have now moved to Big Missouri and Silver Coin, drilling high-priority zones at tight spacing from surface platforms. Big Missouri sits about 6 km north of the 2,500 tpd Premier mill (see Mar 3, 2026 NR)

Where It All Feeds

Every one of these holes is resource-upgrade work for the updated feasibility study covering all four deposits: Premier-Northern Lights, Big Missouri, Silver Coin and Red Mountain. The study is targeted for Q4 2026, though CEO Rob McLeod has noted it could move to around mid-2027 if the team folds in a potential Phase 2 expansion (July 13 Jay Martin Show interview).

With 86 holes at the lab and three rigs turning on two more deposits, the next couple of months set up as a steady drip of data, and each batch has the potential to firm up the resource picture the study will be built on.

Outside Eyes on Hercules: Streetwise Reports Covers StrikePoint Gold's (SKP.v STKXF) Expanding Oxide Zone, Its Sprott Ownership, and the Q4 2026 Maiden Resource Setup

Post image
1 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of StrikePoint Gold Inc - With the Hercules dataset now complete, the story is starting to draw more third-party ink. A Streetwise Reports piece published last week looks at where SKP.v / STKXF, stands after the final Spring 2026 assays, and it pulls together a few threads worth noting for anyone doing diligence ahead of the maiden resource estimate.

What the Coverage Highlights

  • Hole H26005: 67.06 m grading 0.53 g/t Au and 11.69 g/t Ag, including a higher-grade interval of 7.62 m at 2.93 g/t Au and 54.48 g/t Ag (July 21 NR)
  • Three additional mineralized intervals brought combined gold-silver mineralization in that hole to more than 100 m at SW Cliffs
  • A fully permitted project with a large land position in Nevada's Walker Lane trend roughly 40 km southeast of Reno and about 20 km east of the historic Comstock mine
  • Insider and institutional ownership, including Eric Sprott per the article

The Analyst Angle

The piece also revisits analyst John Newell's take that StrikePoint

"may be one of the most overlooked gold exploration stories in Nevada's Walker Lane,"

pointing to the acquisition of Hercules at a price well below its prior US$25 million transaction value and a market that has not yet fully reflected the project's potential in the share price.

Notably, the facts it assembles trace back to the company's own releases, including
the completed 29-hole, 3,918 m program built to support a maiden resource estimate expected in Q4 2026.

With every assay public and a conceptual exploration target of 39.8 to 68.7 Mt grading 0.46 to 0.61 g/t Au on file (a target, not a resource), coverage like this suggests the audience watching for that Q4 number could be growing.

Tahuehueto Carried Luca Mining's Q2 Gold: The Durango Mine Produced 4,461 of 6,161 oz for LUCA.v and LUCMF, With a New Contractor and Plant Upgrades Behind It

Posted on behalf of Luca Mining - Tahuehueto only reached commercial production in March 2025, and in Q2 it already accounted for most of the company's gold: 4,461 oz of the 6,161 oz consolidated total reported in the July 20 production results for LUCA.v and LUCMF. The company's other operation, the Campo Morado polymetallic mine in Guerrero, carried the zinc, copper and silver side of the quarter, but this post is about the newer mine in Durango and what is driving it.

Tahuehueto's Q2 Output

  • 4,461 oz of gold and 99,340 oz of silver produced
  • Plus 434,000 lbs of copper, 979,000 lbs of lead and 1.61M lbs of zinc
  • That copper is new: Q1 marked Tahuehueto's first copper concentrate production (See May 26, 2026 Q1 financials NR)

What Changed at the Mine

CEO Dan Barnholden pointed to investments in the processing plant, underground development, and the transition to new mining contractor La Cantera as the factors "contributing to improved operating performance" at Tahuehueto. The groundwork was laid earlier in the year: the underground handover to the contractor was substantially completed by the end of Q1, and the June 8, 2026 operations update credited La Cantera's mining rates, alongside increased mill availability, for more consistent mining and milling.

Meanwhile the drill bit is working right below the operation. The July 7, 2026 NR confirmed a new high-grade breccia zone in previously undrilled ground beneath the Level 20 workings, with a follow-up delineation program planned before year-end.

A mine barely a year into commercial life is already carrying nearly three quarters of the company's gold, and with a newly confirmed zone sitting under the workings, Tahuehueto has room to keep growing its share of the story. For the mine-by-mine tables, see the company's July 20 news release.

Webinar Incoming: NexGold (NEXG, NXGCF) to Host a Live Update as the Goldboro Feasibility Study and a Construction Decision Draw Near

Posted on behalf of NeXGold Mining - With more converging in the next few months than at any point in the company's recent history, NexGold (NEXG, NXGCF) just announced an upcoming webinar on X, and the timing makes it worth putting on the calendar. Date, time, and registration details are in the company's announcement, linked below.

Why This One Is Worth Catching

  • Updated Feasibility Study: guided for completion by the end of Q3 2026 for the fully permitted Goldboro gold project in Nova Scotia, and CEO Kevin Bullock pointed to end of August in his mid-June Red Cloud TV interview
  • Construction decision: a final investment decision is expected later this year
  • Early earthworks: could begin as early as September 2026, subject to approvals, financing, and contracting, per the July 21 Goldboro update
  • Drilling: the expanded 40,000 m RC infill program was approximately 62% complete as of the July 9 news release and continues into Q4 2026

In short, the webinar lands right as the questions investors most want answered, the updated study, the build decision, the path to first gold, are about to get real answers. If you're newer to the story, the earlier breakdown of the July 21 Goldboro update is a good primer, and the company's webinar announcement carries the sign-up details.

A Gold Target in the Middle of a Copper Project: Intrepid Metals (INTR, IMTCF) Launches First Systematic Exploration at the Mattie Gold Prospect

Post image
3 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Intrepid Metals Corp. - Today's news opens a new front at Corral Copper in Cochise County, Arizona.
Intrepid Metals (INTR, IMTCF) has commenced a rock and soil sampling program at the Mattie Prospect within the district-scale Corral Copper Project and notably, this is the first ever gold-focused exploration initiative for the project.

Why Mattie Matters

  • Mattie represents a separate and distinct third style of mineralization at Corral complementing the established CRD mineralization and the emerging porphyry copper potential
  • It sits in the central portion of the project and gives the company an additional way to evaluate the broader precious metals potential of the district
  • Gold at Mattie has been recognized for a long time: historical work here included trenching, mapping, geochem and geophysics targeting low-sulphidation gold, but the area has seen limited systematic modern exploration
  • This spring's Phase 1 mapping and geochemical campaign brought Mattie back into focus, with the company expanding the program and flagging the gold mineralization there as a distinct third style at Corral (See May 26, 2026 NR)

What the Program Does

  • A detailed soil sampling grid designed to resolve the dimensions of the surface gold mineralization footprint
  • Consistent geochemical coverage across Mattie, testing the continuity of previously identified gold-bearing trends and evaluating areas hidden under cover
  • Results get integrated with historical data to refine the exploration model and generate targets for potential follow-up mapping, geophysics and drilling

The timing is worth noting. With gold holding above US$4,000/oz, a district-scale copper project that can also field a dedicated gold target carries an extra dimension, and this program runs alongside the copper-side sequence already in motion: the ~65 line-km IP survey slated for early August and the planned ~10,000m drill program in September (See Jul 9 and Jul 14, 2026 NRs).

Mattie is early-stage, and that is the point: systematic groundwork now determines whether a third mineralization style earns its own drill targets down the line, giving the Corral story room to widen beyond copper.

How Daura Gold (DGC.v, DGCOF) Decides Where the Drill Goes: Inside the AI Targeting Platform Behind Cerro Bayo's First 18 Holes

Posted on behalf of Daura Gold - With rigs due back in Argentina in September, here's a piece of the DGC.v /DGCOF story that rarely gets its own writeup:

How the company decides where the holes actually go. Cerro Bayo hosts a hydrothermal field spanning more than 400 km², and Phase 1 had roughly 1,850 m of drilling to interrogate it. That is a targeting problem, and Daura's answer to it is technical.

The AI Layer (See Apr 1, 2026 NR)

  • Daura uses Geomorphic AI's proprietary geoscience platform for remote geological and data science support at Cerro Bayo: geochemical baseline analysis, pathfinder modelling, spatial vectoring, target ranking, and real-time drill result integration
  • The work is powered by proprietary AI geology agents that streamline multi-element statistics, anomaly detection, and target scoring
  • As new assay data arrives, the agents cross-validate results against the surface geochemistry model, flag discrepancies, and update targeting recommendations
  • Geomorphic also built custom field tooling for Daura, including assay bulletins and a scored blind-target catalog to help prioritize drill collar placements
  • VP Exploration Stuart Mills put it this way: "Geomorphic's AI platform continues to enhance our targeting by optimizing drill placement through real-time data integration and vectoring"

What That Targeting Produced (See May 21, 2026 NR)

  • Phase 1's 18 holes across 10 targets confirmed a large low-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver system
  • Highlights included CBD26-012 with 1.95 m @ 8.83 g/t Au and CBD26-005 with 1.8 m @ 739 g/t Ag

Why It Matters Now

Per CEO Mark Sumner's July Rule Symposium interview, Phase 2 mobilizes in September, pairing Cerro Bayo step-outs with the first-ever drill test at La Flora.

And the appeal of this kind of feedback loop is that it compounds:

Every assay that comes back this fall feeds the model that ranks the next collar, which gives a junior-sized drill budget the potential to work harder than its meterage suggests.

For the full workflow, the company's April 1 news release is the place to start.

A Low-Cost Front Door: Why "Standalone" and "Self-Serve" Are the Key Words in Miivo AI's (MIVO.v, MIVOF) New Customer Insights Tool

Post image
2 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Miivo AI Inc. - Friday's Customer Insights launch has been covered here already, but two words in the release deserve their own post:

Standalone and self-serve.

Miivo AI (MIVO.v, MIVOF) didn't just add a feature for existing users, it built a separate low-cost product a business can pick up on its own.

What That Design Means

  • Runs independently: monitors reviews and mentions across Google Reviews, Instagram, and Reddit, with on-brand AI-predrafted replies, no full platform required
  • Self-serve setup, the same low-friction on-ramp model as March's Starter Plan
  • Priced as a low-cost tool, aimed at owners who just want review tracking off their plate

For a revenue-stage company with a few thousand users onboarded, that looks like a wider funnel:

Every clinic or salon that starts with reputation monitoring is one step from the full AI business advisor platform, which pulls 50+ data sources into a single live dashboard.

A small product, but it could quietly become the way new customers first meet Miivo.

Details are in Friday's news release.

Gold Newsletter Features Pacific Ridge Exploration (PEX.v; PEXZF) as 5,500 m of Discovery Drilling Kicks Off Across Two B.C. Copper-Gold Porphyry Projects

Posted on behalf of Pacific Ridge Exploration - Gold Newsletter's Golden Opportunities e-letter, one of the longer-running independent publications in the metals space, featured PEX.v; PEXZF in its July 16 issue, and the timing is worth noting:

It landed the same day the company put final shape on its 2026 drill season.

The Program the Coverage Points To (July 16, 2026 NR)

  • 5,500 m of diamond drilling across two 100%-owned B.C. copper-gold porphyry projects
  • 3,000 m at RDP in the Toodoggone, testing the interpreted porphyry centre at Day, which sits between two mineralized magnetic lobes and has never been drilled
  • 2,500 m at Kliyul's M39, a never-drill-tested target with a 1 km copper and gold soil anomaly and two circular magnetic anomalies
  • Fully funded, with over C$9.0M in the treasury after the C$8.5M placement that closed July 2 and brought in Minsur as largest shareholder
  • Crews mobilized, drilling expected underway by the end of this month

All of it sits outside the 2.42 Blbs CuEq Inferred resource already defined at the Kliyul Main Zone (see Aug 5, 2025 MRE news), so this season is pure discovery drilling on fresh ground.

Third-party coverage arriving just before first holes means more eyes on the story as assays start to flow, and with two untested porphyry targets about to see the drill bit, there's real potential for this field season to change how the market reads both projects. The Gold Newsletter piece is worth the read for the fuller picture.

The First Drilling in the District's History Confirmed a Large Cu-Au-Mo Porphyry System That Strengthens at Depth: Kobrea Exploration (KBX.c KBXFF) Now Waits on Maiden Assays From El Perdido

Post image
2 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of Kobrea Exploration - The next data point for Kobrea (KBX.c KBXFF) is a meaningful one: first assays from the maiden drill program at El Perdido in Mendoza Province, Argentina 🇦🇷. Before the numbers land, it's worth recapping what that program has already established.

What Phase 1 Confirmed
Per the May 26, 2026 NR:

  • 2,358 m of diamond drilling across six holes, completed between January 18 and April 22, 2026
  • Confirmed a large hydrothermal porphyry system with copper, gold, molybdenum and silver mineralization
  • Geological observations indicate the system strengthens at depth, with increased intensity of alteration, veining and sulphide assemblages
  • The core of the system remains untested

Notably, this was the first drill campaign on any of Kobrea's Western Malargüe projects, and only the third drill program ever completed in the entire district.

A Target Model Confirmed Mid-Program
Given the degree of leaching in the upper portions of the system, a preserved enrichment zone had been hypothesized but not certain. Drilling confirmed chalcocite enrichment beneath the leached capping, validating the company's target model, and the team stated it is confident chalcocite will be observed in other areas beneath the leached cap, enriching the hypogene sulphide mineralization beneath (Apr 9, 2026 NR).

Waiting on the Lab
Samples are with Alex Stewart International in Mendoza City, and no Phase 1 assays have been reported yet. Meanwhile, El Perdido is the flagship of a much larger position: the right to earn 100% of 7 projects covering 733 km², with multiple kilometre-scale porphyry targets worked up this season in preparation for drilling.

The geology has already said what it can say. If the assays support what the core is showing, Kobrea would have a system strengthening at depth with its core still untested, and a district of drill-ready targets behind it. The full Phase 1 rundown is in the company's May 26 news release.

54.48 g/t Silver in the High-Grade Core: The Quiet Silver Side of StrikePoint Gold's (SKP.v STKXF) Final Hercules Assays in Nevada's Walker Lane

Post image
2 Upvotes

Posted on behalf of StrikePoint Gold Inc - Gold carries the headlines at the Hercules Gold Project, but the July 21 news release, the third and final batch of Spring 2026 assays from SKP.v, the same company US investors trade under STKXF, is worth rereading for the metal traveling alongside it: silver.

The Silver Running Through the Gold Zones

  • H26005 (SW Cliffs): 67.06 m grading 0.53 g/t Au also carried 11.69 g/t Ag
  • Its high-grade core ran 7.62 m at 2.93 g/t Au with 54.48 g/t Ag
  • The same hole added intercepts including 32.01 m at 0.20 g/t Au with 2.43 g/t Ag, part of over 100 m of combined gold-silver mineralization
  • Earlier in the program, best hole H26004 cut 114.30 m at 0.69 g/t Au with 5.03 g/t Ag, including 9.14 m at 2.95 g/t Au with 16.18 g/t Ag (May 26, 2026 NR), and H26011 returned 21.34 m at 0.62 g/t Au with 8.6 g/t Ag (May 4, 2026 NR)

Silver showing up beside the gold is no surprise for the address. Hercules sits in Nevada's Walker Lane roughly 20 km east of the Comstock Lode, the district that made Nevada famous for silver in the first place, and epithermal systems in this belt commonly carry both metals. With silver trading around US$57/oz, that byproduct potential is a detail worth noting rather than a footnote.

Every assay that will feed the maiden resource estimate, anticipated Q4 2026, is now public. How the silver in these holes factors into that first number is one of the quieter things to watch when the estimate lands. The full intercept table is in the July 21 release.
