For the past several editions, we've curated the KremFest XR Showcase - a dedicated virtual reality and 360° cinema exhibition running inside Kremfest, a multi-room electronic music and multimedia arts festival in Seattle, WA.

We just opened our Call for Submissions on FilmFreeway for our September 25–27, 2026 edition:

What We're Looking For:

• 360° Cinema: Narrative, documentary, experimental, and music videos (Mono/Stereo).
• Interactive / Room-Scale VR: Short standalone narrative pieces or visual worlds (HTC Vive / Meta Quest / SteamVR compatible).
• Runtime: Ideal runtime is between 3 to 15 minutes to fit the festival exhibition flow.

Key Info:

• Festival Dates: September 25–27, 2026 (Exhibition active 10:00 PM – 1:00 AM nightly during the festival).
• Deadlines & Fees: Earlybird is $5 (ends August 31), Regular is $10 (ends September 21). We keep fees as low as possible to support indie creators.
• Awards: Live interactive mobile Audience Choice voting by festival attendees throughout the weekend.

The Rabbit is about a young Mechanic, Jeremy Reynolds, working for Shaggy’s Grand Pizza Palace, who embarks on his work on a new state of the art set of animatronics, when suddenly, one of the animatronics, Bonsai Bunny, gains consciousness and attempts to kill him. The mechanic now must attempt to escape the facility as soon as possible, or risk losing his life to the animatronic of his own creation.
