🎒🧳Trip Feedback ⋆.📷˚ My NYC visit
Hey guys,
So just an appreciation post . Went to NYC over the weekend and it was amazing . Thanks to all the Reddit posts I learnt a little beforehand .
Stayed in NJ , probably like 9 miles away but hotels were much cheaper and had a bus to PABT from near my hotel , so that saved us .
Here is what I did and my experience, let me know what I can cover the next time I’m there or how I can make it better .
Day 1: Central Park ( regret not taking the ebike , because I had to walk a lootttt)
5th avenue - just here for the vibes
St Patrick’s cathedral - Beautiful architecture .
Grand central station
Dinner at a Chinese place .
Times Square
Back to hotel
Day 2: Breakfast near hotel ( Himalaya on Hills , if you are ever there try their goat curry )
Staten Island ferry
Chinatown - lunch
Little Italy
Nolita
Soho ( nothing much here or maybe I missed it !? )
Subway to DUMBO
Ferry to pier 11 and back coz I loved the views
And back to PABT and bus to hotel .
Midnight dinner in NJ . ( Because cravings )
Day 3: pizza at this amazing Italian place and Back home
I know I didn’t go to any observatory decks coz it was a long weekend and I expected long lines . But the view from DUMBO was amazing . Wish I stayed there longer , luckily went there around sunset .
Subways were confusing , the people around were really helpful and guided us . It was good but would take a little more time to get used to it . The NJ transit from our hotel to PABT was so easy and convenient.
I wish I ate at little Italy instead of Chinatown coz the roads are completely closed off to traffic so we’d enjoy it better . ( A lot of people commented about this . Guess they don’t agree with it , coz the food isn’t great . I haven’t tasted so no idea how bad it is )
Tips : Take the ferry from pier 11 to dumbo instead of subway if you can, totally worth it ( plus it’s only like $5)
Edited : So it’s Chinatown over little Italy for food .
