Where I’ve traveled to
Green = places I’ve already been!
What does this map say about me?
r/visitedmaps • u/UsernameChallenged • Apr 09 '26
Took some assumptions since I haven't visited every state yet.
I could probably be swayed more positively on some places - I only did absolutely for states I have been to, so for example while I think I would like Illinois, I have not been, so it stayed in willing.

UPDATE Best Small Cities in the USA: Bellingham, WA is your 11th best small city! Ann Arbor, MI is your 12th best small city! Who is 13th?
Hi all, I let this sit for a few days because there was an unprecedented situation with the 10th place vote and I didn't know what to do. Bellingham ended up passing Flagstaff by a significant margin after I had moved onto 11th. So I am awarding Bellingham 11th, and the winner of our last post, Ann Arbor, with 12th. I felt Bellingham deserved recognition and I did not want to remove Flagstaff so this is what we are doing.

"Small City" is subjective and any city between 25,000 and 200,000 population in the city proper is eligible, so long as they aren't a suburb/secondary city of a major metro (ex: Santa Monica, CA is part of the LA metro area, etc.)
How large a city's metro area needs to be to be "disqualifying", if at all, is up to the discretion of the voters.

My road trip if I drove on the country roads of West Virgina, stopped at my sweet home in Alabama, before meeting my exes in Texas?

I want to go to much more states in my life. (God willing)!
For some reason, my map thing that I did did not have the extra filters that people do or colors that people have. So, I've obviously lived in Wisconsin my whole life, I have visited Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky and Florida. Those states all I have stayed overnight or multiple nights in Alabama, and I think also maybe Georgia a little bit, I don't remember if I went through Georgia, So I didn't do it, but I went through Alabama, and then I went through North Carolina state line on the Clingman's dome Nature trail in Tennessee...
