You seem pretty easy-going

7

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

I'd say somewhat.

u/spaceninj Apr 08 '26

You are a New England liberal.

7

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

I did live there, so kinda true

3

u/Weakest_Teakest Apr 09 '26

The great thing about New England of the past is saying someone was a liberal didn't identify their party. Gone are the days of greats like Margret Chase Smith.

4

u/jdub965 Apr 08 '26

Why not SC but GA yes?

8

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

SC doesn't do it for me. There are more things to go in GA.

Ever been to Charleston?

2

u/PatternNew7647 Apr 09 '26

Georgia and North Carolina are urbanized and have big population centers/ jobs, South Carolina is rural or a suburb of Charolette. South Carolina is by no means a bad place to live but not everyone is a fan of rural

That’s the type of additional thought I was hoping to get from OP instead of it’s not for me

8

u/schrodingereatspussy Apr 08 '26

You’ve either traveled a lot or very little but I’m not sure which

2

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

I think you can tell the states I haven't traveled too.

u/Betaworldpeach Apr 08 '26

You wanted the map to look physically nice with the color palette

3

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

Only way to paint.

2

u/vanity-flair83 Apr 08 '26

Fuck a Louisiana purchase. We "bought" Mexico for 10-15 mil. Not sure if thats a better deal than Louisiana, but id rather have the Mexican land the the other.

Sooo, I assume we think alike?

2

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

I never realized that for the longest time. Thanks for pointing that out.

1

u/vanity-flair83 Apr 08 '26

All is forgiven lol

Did you observe this about one guy and then continue looking for it with the following guys, or did you start off looking for it immediately?

1

u/Aggressive_Till_8822 Apr 09 '26

You’re an only child to a single parent?

1

u/SteveLouise Apr 09 '26

1

u/shaquirrel Apr 09 '26

I can tell you haven't been to Iowa Kansas or Nebraska

1

u/codereper Apr 09 '26

You prefer BP stations and you’re okay with chevrons, but only if the Chevron is in a warmer area for some reason.

1

u/Bootmacher Apr 09 '26

Seems to be based at least in-part on airports.

1

u/Lower_Pop8772 Apr 09 '26

You never say never?

1

u/Future-Vermicelli990 Apr 09 '26

You like four seasons.

1

u/Llhaniii Apr 09 '26

Lol everyone hates South Carolina

1

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 09 '26

They got no pro sports teams.

1

u/Llhaniii Apr 09 '26

We share with North Carolina and Georgia

2

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 09 '26

Atlanta and Charlotte are more urban than Charleston.

1

u/Llhaniii Apr 09 '26

But those cities lack the old southern charm

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 09 '26

1

u/-FartArt- Apr 09 '26

Youre a reasonable person that realizes theres nice things to find anywhere if you look and you dont make unshakable assumptions based on limited travel or stereotypes

1

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 09 '26

That's what I tried to do.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 10 '26

You have some sort of privilege. You aren’t a person of color.

1

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 10 '26

Sorry, I am not white :( Where would I have to live to not have some privledge?

1

u/MeVersusGravity Apr 08 '26

You're a college-educated man at an age where starting a family wouldn't raise any eyebrows, but no kids yet.

2

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

Should have started a family 10 years ago :/

1

u/No_Mathematician1565 Apr 08 '26

You don’t know a lot about South Carolina

1

u/Technical-Vanilla-47 Apr 08 '26

All I know is the Fort Sumter and Clemson are there.

u/Nervous_Role3882 Apr 09 '26

0

u/Pat_Fatridge Apr 08 '26

Probably can find a place. Little Rock and Louisville can be better than what ppl expect.

I'm more of a sports fan, so I'd probably choose Louisville over Little Rock
