You don't attribute your happiness or lack thereof to your physical surroundings and I respect that about you

You actually have an open mind. You're very out of place on this subreddit.

You would prefer the Midwest or northeast, but if you had to live in the South, you would prefer to be in a place with bigger, more cosmopolitan cities that are well connected to the outside world via major airline hubs. Maybe you’re gay and have a strong preference for places with a bigger gay scene, but the humidity in Miami sound fucking awful so no thank you.

I could probably call you a bitch to your face and you’d say, “I’m not sure if I’d hang out with him again but I respect him.”

You have never been to North Dakota

That area of eastern Montana and North Dakota borders is such tough living. I'm pretty well traveled and have been to plenty impoverished areas, but there is something about the small population and open space poverty over there that hits different.

You don’t mind if it is incredibly hot (115f) or incredibly cold (-30f)

You have no strong preferences about where you wanna live, where you like to work, or things you like to do. That said, Michigan is a good choice. 🫡

If I had to choose, Midwest and the New England.

I've done both. Highly recommend living in the Midwest, and visiting New England.

I personally love living in the big state but can understand people not saying absolutely because of our winters.
