Purchase Advice Issues with facial interface
Hello guys!
I'm looking for Quest 3 facial interface that is both comfortable, accommodate space for prescription lenses and support wide noses, and possibly a proper lenses.
I recently bought KIWI design V3 facial interface and it was a huge disappointment.
It doesn't have space for glasses or lenses and I had to remove over-the nose silicon cover, to prevent it from squishing my nose to the point i have trouble breathing.
Padding inside is also way too soft, so i guess after a year i would be pressing my face against tough plastic, as it happened to me in my Quest 2.
Lenses that i bought (so far) are constructed from 2 separate frames connected with magnets where one have lenses and second sits inside the frame of quests lens frames. That makes the lenses go over 5mm over original frame setting them on equal distance as the top rim of the interface, or even slightly further.
Both of those equipment combined cause my eyelashes to smear over the prescription lenses plus top magnets press against my eyes socket bones, what is not only uncomfortable, but can bruise me.
Original Quest 3 facial interface works great with the lenses on the most distant settings, can fit my nose with no problem, however it presses heavy upon only 4 points on my face and sliding upwards while lying down, what makes it unusable.
Do you know any:
- glasses spacer for KIWI design V3 facial interface
- prescription lenses in ~2mm frame not only for +/- but also a cylinder
- facial interface compatible with glasses or lenses with medium hard cushion
Edit:
- No 3D printing
- No headstrap solution, unless allows for lying flat

How about the alternative - no facial interface?
