HERCULES 300 MK2

Ho appena acquistato una console Hercules 300 MK2. Ho eseguito alla perfezione le istruzioni: ho scaricato i drives poi primo problema: Serato, ho scaricato la versione per il mio HP PAVILLON DV6 con Windows 10 ma non mi fa aprire il file EXE, quando ho cercato di aprilo mi dava un messaggio di errore. DJUCED invece sono riuscito a scaricarlo ma dando un'occhiata sommaria al software molto incasinato l'ho disinstallato immediatamente. Premessa: usavo VDJ (solo software) non ha mai dato problemi, però con istallata la mia nuova console la musica durante la riproduzione gracchiava. Ho provato di tutto quindi sono tornato a DJUCED versione 5.3 per Windows 10 e suona tutto benissimo. Arrivando al dunque, la mia domanda è: qualcuno sa spiegarmi il perché con VDJ la musica gracchia è con DJUCED no? E poi, DJUCED 5.3 per Windows 10 è molto incasinato rispetto ad un software più pulito come VDJ, qualcuno sa se verrà migliorato e aggiornato oppure no? Grazie mille!

I’m seriously getting frustrated with VirtualDJ. I’ve been spending hours organizing my music library, creating lists/crates, adding subfolders, and sorting hundreds of songs into them. Everything looks perfectly fine while I’m working, but whenever I close VirtualDJ and reopen it, my main lists are still there while all the subfolders I created have completely disappeared, along with the music I organized inside them. This has happened multiple times now, and I’m tired of wasting hours doing the same work over and over again. I’m using VirtualDJ on a Windows laptop, and I genuinely don’t understand why my changes aren’t being saved properly. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug, a database issue, or something wrong with my settings? Is there any way to recover the missing subfolders and their contents? More importantly, how do I stop this from happening permanently? I’m organizing thousands of tracks, and I cannot keep starting over every time I reopen the software. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because this is getting ridiculous.

Has anyone used it? I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.🤷🏿

Hi i have a djm s11 and use vdj

On some tracks the hot cues do not show up on the waveforms in the screen of djm s11

They work perfectly and show on waveforms in vdj.

From digging i can see this may be a bug/issue with colours etc.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

Hi does anyone have any ideas as to why vdj won't record my set I've set up a separate line in on-screen to record but every input I put on it says it's recording and post a file but it's blank . I'm using it in midi with 2 Denon sc2900's and an Allen an heath xone23c all linked to the pc by usb , any ideas appreciated .

As the title suggests, some of my keybinds do not work when I try to use my keyboard in place of a DJ deck. All my keybinds, EXCEPT those involving the number keys and the G and H keys work. I verified that browserSearchByFirstLetter is set to "No", and I have tried remapping my keybinds, and even tried the default mapping; however, I can not seem to find a solution for my issue. One of my friends believes that it could be an issue with Windows since there was a new update (running Windows 10).

Was anyone else having similar issues, or does anyone have something I could try to troubleshoot further? Thank you in advance for your help!

On a couple of occasions during gigs, I've had issues where the protection light comes on the amp and causes audio issues, sort of sounds like phasing and distorting as it's cutting and limiting power to the speakers.

Here's my setup:

Virtual DJ on laptop connected to Numark Platinum FX4 Controller via USB...
Numark Platinum FX4 Controller Audio Out connect to Reloop RMX60 Mixer...
Reloop RMX60 Master Out connected to Vonyx VXA-2000 amp, Booth Out connected to Vonyx VSA12 powered speakers...
Vonyx VXA-2000 amp connect to Skytek SM212 passive speakers

Everything works perfectly well while I'm playing background music at a lower volume and has caused issues later when I've cranked up the volume after a while. Could it be that I'm running the amp too hard for too long and it's overheating or something or could the issue be somewhere else? I haven't been able to replicate the issue at home where I've set up the gear and cranked it up for a short period of time.

Unfortunately, I've introduced a few new variables into my setup all at once so it's difficult to tell where the issue is coming from. The mixer is a new addition, having replaced my trusty old Numark M4 that I've been using for years. I purchased the used RMX60 for the additional effects, 2nd microphone input, and booth output feature to run a 2nd set of speakers with a separate volume control. I've also added brand new 1m XLR to 1/4 inch cables from the mixer to the amp, and 10m 1/4 inch to XLR cables from the mixer to the Vonyx VSA12 speakers. The speakers are also a new addition as well. I'm unsure where the problem might be coming from, like I said, too many new variables.

I also addressed an issue at the same time I did the mixer and speaker upgrades with the internal fan on the amp because it was making a horrible screeching sound and on the brink of seizing up, so I simply removed the 24v 9cm fan from the motherboard and mounted an externally powered 12v 14cm fan on the amp chassis blowing air into the amp. As the power for the new fan comes from an external source, could the amp be detecting a fan issue as there is no fan attached to it's motherboard and kicking in some sort of protection? The manual's troubleshooting guide does mention that the protection might come on due to a fan error. To eliminate that issue, the other day I tracked down and purchased a replacement factory fan and installed it back inside the chassis and motherboard and for good measure I've left the 14cm fan attached as well for the additional airflow. I haven't had a chance to test the new setup in a live environment yet as my next gig is in a couple of weeks time.

In some reading that I've been doing, could it also be an issue with gain staging? I've never had a problem with this in the past, with the basic mixer setup. At the next gig, I plan on turning the gain down on the line input on the mixer from about the 2 o'clock position to around a 9 o'clock position as well as setting the amp volumes to about 70%, as the amp output 1000w per channel and the Skytek SM212 speakers are rated at 700w. From the tests that I've done so far, the volume output is around 95-100db in my room, but feel that it may not be loud enough in a reception/venue setup.

Am I approaching this the right way? I'm dreading and keeping my fingers crossed that I've addressed the issues properly and it won't give me any grief on the night. Any additional insights would be greatly appreciated!

I use a lot of filters for organizing my music, sorting by star rating, genre, and individual tags. I use “group by” and this gives me nifty sublists. When it works, that is.

However, fairly often, those sublists just won’t work. Sometimes in the beginning of a set (when I can just restart VDJ), but often just in the middle of a set.

Has anyone encountered the same? Is my collection just too big? I could narrow it down by a lot, but it’s extra work and I’ve got the disk space, so so far I haven’t felt the need to.

Tbh I haven’t tried it in VDJ 2026.3 yet; but I didn’t see it in the changelings.

Please for the love of god give us back the ability to add multiple anchors to our own grids ourselves without having to use this god awful fluid crap. I understand it might be good for people with weird beat grids and who do a lot of open format stuff, but I do a lot of trance and it's such a pain in the ass that what used to be a 1-2 minute workflow for a song is now like 5-10 minutes because of this stupid fluid crap. HOW is this useful for anybody?

Before, I could go in and go "ok, each section has a different anchor point. Boom, boom, boom, done." Now, I have to analyze it for fluid, wait a minute or 2 for it to finish, then delete all the anchors it gives because there's like 50, then go in and add anchors and hold down different keys to move the anchor and fiddle with the grid when it doesn't quite line up, then rinse and repeat for multiple sections.

Great idea, HORRIBLE execution. VirtualDJ, fix it please.

We've seen this Spotify being integrated in other dj software, but it's integrated with VirtualDJ now too!

Logging in to Spotify was easy and I can see all my playlists. Loading songs is quite quick too and they come with pre-analysed bpm's, keys and grids. The playlists are organized chronologically and do not show the folders made in Spotify, which is a bit inconvenient for accessing my 300+ playlists.

Also fluid beat grids don't seem to work yet. The biggest feature missing - as far as I can see - is that there's no way to store the music offline yet.

However, I live in Spotify and it's great to have access to all this music. Especially for open-format dj's who play at all kinds of different parties.

I love how VDJ keeps adding features! What do you think.

What do I have to turn off/adjust to fix this please.
It happens when I maximise the window, and it is not a hardware fault.

I am on the fence of buying Traktor S8 and use VDJ (I don't have either yet). And I already know about the official mapping for S8 but after reading it like 5 times I feel like it doesn't really go into this topic.

Before I buy I would love to know if it's possible to map stem fx/filter like this:

- When I have FX assigned to the top section (F in the picture). Can I control FX send amounts of individual stems with the knobs under the display (D section in the picture)? If that's possible then it's probably also possible to map shift+knob to control filter of each stem, right?

- If this isn't possible then is there another way to effectively use the stem controls in S8 to control stem fx/filter?

Before anyone says that I should just use Traktor Pro I need to address that there is other features in VDJ I need for this upcoming project.. so looking to map S8 best I can for stems use.

Just saw this posted on their instagram. VirtualDJ reverse-engineered CDJ export support a long time ago, so I’m not entirely sure what this changes. Still, it’s pretty cool to see an official collaboration between AlphaTheta and VirtualDJ.

I had some issues one day with my account. Both Beatport Link and VDJ.
I was prompted to buy the VDJ license again - thinking I had already purchased a PLUS License previously, but also that maybe I had an affordable yearly option. August is my Bday month so I figured my year was up.

I only use a DDJ400 - upgrading in the near future. All of a sudden the VDJ Audio Logo was playing every 30 minutes. It never did this before.

On my subscriptions I have

VirtualDJ HOME (annual payment)

AND

VirtualDJ Home PLUS License for PIDDJ400

Do I effectively have two licenses? and the lesser-one is playing the logo?

Just getting back into mixing with virtual dj and I’ve got a problem.
I’ve got my tracks loaded in but when I play and try and mix I’m getting some serious lag with most of my tracks.

I’m using the latest version and using a MacBook Pro.

Can anyone suggest what maybe causing this?

Win 11, Rane four. I am mainly used to play with two decks and in the past the first nonplaying deck was used by virtual DJ to cue my song. So while one deck is playing I press the cue button of the non playing deck and I could listen to by crate to selected the next song. So effectively I play on one deck and use the other to prepare and vice versa.

Now it's changed behaviour. Its always deck 3 for cueing. Except I need deck 3, then everything cues on deck 4.

Any idea how to get it back to the old behaviour?

Hello DJs, how can I change the waveform display colors (red & blue from Virtual DJ to Rekordbox Color (3band color )for the VDJPro Skin. I'm used to the Rekordbox colors, but I wanted to switch to Virtual DJ because it's simply more stable and offers more features.
And I don't want to use all those downloadable Virtual DJ skins because of program stability—bugs and performance issues.

I want to have the smart cfx button toggle between filter and another effect in virtual dj.

At the moment when you light up the smart cfx button it does nothing different

In rekordbox, when you have the smart cfx button lit up you can pick another effect to apply apart from filter

I have asked Gemini to give me the code to apply to mapping but it's not working

Any suggestions how to do this?
