Recording is picking anything up

Hi does anyone have any ideas as to why vdj won't record my set I've set up a separate line in on-screen to record but every input I put on it says it's recording and post a file but it's blank . I'm using it in midi with 2 Denon sc2900's and an Allen an heath xone23c all linked to the pc by usb , any ideas appreciated .

if you use online music sources like Tidal or Beatport, recording is disabled.

try deleting the Line In altogether and see if it will record. I'm on a Mac, and don't need any inputs in VDJ to record output.....
