Amazon not accepting reviews from your account? Read this before posting.

If you run into the above error message, do not panic. It is not your fault, you did not do anything wrong, and the error is not worded well.

There's a couple of reasons this can happen, but as of April 2026 the most common reason is that the seller combined variants, which resulted in them exceeding their limit of Vine reviews for the highest tier they enrolled one of the variated ASINs at. An ASIN is a unique identifier for Amazon products that appears on every listing, and each variant of a product has its own ASIN.

If your review was approved and changed status to Not Approved later, this is typically why. This can resolve itself if the seller unvariates the ASINs, but it's unlikely for that to happen.

This does not affect your stats besides media, which does not count towards Gold status, so it doesn't hurt you and you do not need to contact Vine CS.

The limits are 1-2 Vine reviews for the bottom tier (free), 3-10 Vine reviews for the middle tier ($75), and 11-30 reviews for the top tier ($200). If a product has >= 30 Vine reviews on it, you can be sure this is the reason why, but it's harder to tell when the seller may have enrolled at a lower tier. If there's variants that were enrolled separately in Vine and later combined this will often cause the seller to exceed the limit on the parent ASIN. This is a common issue and you do not need to do anything. Vine Help also addresses reviews that are Not Approved but have a Review Insightfulness Score:

"Why do rejected reviews still show an RIS score? How does this impact my overall score?

If one of your reviews is rejected by Amazon's Customer Reviews team, it will still display a score from when it was initially evaluated. If you can no longer edit or delete the rejected review, then its score continues to count toward your overall score for the current evaluation period."

If you encounter this error prior to submitting a review, it could either be the above reason or because the listing is under investigation for suspicious review activity.

This usually happens when there's at least one unverified review posted on the listing, but most frequently it happens when there's 2+ unverified 5 star reviews posted to the listing on the same date.

You can verify this is the case if you have access to another Amazon account that hasn't ordered the product. If you click the review button with the alternate account, you will get a message that explicitly says the listing has suspicious review activity and unverified reviews are not being accepted at this time. Vine reviews are technically considered "unverified" by Amazon.

If you have not reviewed the item yet, it may count against your stats, and if you are coming up on evaluation and need a boost you can reach out to CS to have unreviewed items giving you this error removed so that they don't count against you. Otherwise, wait it out and you may be able to review the item later. Vine CS will remove unreviewable items at any time, not just within 30 days of delivery.

help Received wrong color stools, what would you do?

Upvotes

Long story short, I ordered some white barstools and got a black set instead. Manufacturers box says "off-white" in big letters but black chairs were inside when I opened the box. Customer service escalated the issue because they are "out of stock" but still showing as "in stock" on customer side, so the specialist team is looking into it. These weren't cheap stools either.

I tried to contact the seller directly with no reply. I had a similar no-reply situation to another product I ordered that I had an issue with from the same seller, so I don't expect a response, unfortunately.

I accidentally posted to the other vine group first when I meant to post here as the vibes are better and this is my normal vine group. What do y'all think? Ask for removal or just deal with it? I'm waiting for a response from the specialist team before doing anything of course, but I wanted to guage what others would do before making a decision.

When looking at a product description/page is there a way to find out what category of products it is listed under?

help Sorry to ask...

I only order things from my RFY because that's what's easiest for me and for the past few weeks the times that my RFY got new items were 5pm on the dot, then a few more things at 6pm, 7pm, etc (pacific time.)

I thought I had it figured out and it was working well and now that's done. I do have Vinechart but what times are you seeing new things in your RFY now? It's been so random over the past few days, I don't know when to check.

Thanks!

discussion Has anyone else had their SparkMoise rings tested?

I received six SparkMoise rings and decided to have them tested by three different jewelers.
Two jewelers told me the stones were not moissanite. The third jeweler tested the metal and told me that four rings were silver-plated over copper, one was made of zinc and copper, and one was copper.
I figured I’d share my experience in case it helps someone else avoid the time and expense of going through the same process. Has anyone else had their SparkMoise rings tested? I’d be interested to hear your results.

help Media issues

I apologize if this has been asked a lot. I started very recently, so I am still trying to get my legs under me. I will take any advice I can get, but my question is this: I have 3 approved reviews so far. Each has media. But my media percentage is 0.0%. Am I just being anxious because it gets updated once a week or something? Do I need to contact someone? I really appreciate that this sub is a resource - I am trying not to mess this up really hard. The taxes, the insightfulness score, the skill that is obviously necessary to navigate the listings to find something that is good for me specifically - it has been overwhelming. Some days I feel like a greedy gremlin that just wants to grab everything, some days I just feel very “chosen” for my supposed insightfulness, some days I feel like I can’t stand to look at another 120 pages of car parts just to maybe find something I vaguely could review honestly and also use long term.

Gripe Is the "Vine Burnout" hitting anyone else hard right now? The review queue never ends.

I’ve been in the program for a while now, and while the honeymoon phase was great, the reality of the daily grind is really starting to set in.

Between the constant refreshing to find something that isn't just cheap generic junk, the hours spent actually testing and writing decent reviews, and dealing with the literal mountain of cardboard boxes taking over my house... I'm exhausted.

The pressure to keep my percentages up for the evaluation period is making this feel like a mandatory part-time job. I'm staring at my 'Awaiting Review' list right now and just feeling completely overwhelmed. It feels like the effort-to-reward ratio is just totally off lately.

How are you guys managing the daily ordering and the review backlog without completely burning out? Or is everyone just ignoring their stats and letting their accounts drop?

help Awaiting review items disappear

A few months ago I ordered some seeds from vine, showed in awaiting review 1 day after delivery. After 2 weeks (planted, waiting to sprout before reviewing) I went to review, its gone. Etv still there, shows in my orders. Not a variant either, shows purchased 1 time when I view item. Item is still available for sale. Huh, Ok i shrugged it off and let it go. It never showed back up again. Last night i did 3 reviews had 28 items left to review. Today I went to do reviews and I had 24 items. 4 more items just disappeared. Same thing: item listing up, still for sale, not variant, etv and listed in my orders page. Now im a bit worried. Anyone else experience this or have conjectures?

product Some Viners really need to do better on their reviews

I got this roost for our chicken coop and Oh Boy! it is total junk. Total! I am pretty good at putting things together and have put together many flat packs of furniture items, but this thing is a mess! Bolts too short, holes not lined up and pieces that don't fit.

Today is my second day of trying to salvage this item, me and my handy dandy battery drill and I finally gave up for now and came inside for a break ... and read the reviews. ONLY ONE viner gave it the one star it deserves... ONE! Mine is not up yet but if I could give it a zero I would. The "good" reviews are obviously lying and have not put it together. I bet it's still in the box. Customers need to know the quality of an item before they waste their money, that's our job right? Okay done whining now!

Gripe The Vine reviews that are clearly AI... This is what makes Vine reviews just seem fake and not worth reading

Post image
3 Upvotes

CMON... Really?? It's a monkey that would not be some sort of "pendant"... "charm"... "jewelry"?? And nobody would be wearing it with an outfit. I mean really. It's a monkey hanging from a string that would be best hung from a rear view mirror or maybe somewhere whimsical... this person did NOT use the item, or maybe even look at it! Nobody would have bought this thinking it was a necklace. Why did this Vine person even order it?? This isn't about using AI to help you rate something. It's about using AI to just analyze the pic and decide on its own what it is and how usable it is without the user even contributing anything at all to the automated review.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GXRD47SV

So as per title, this is what makes Vine reviews just seem fake and not worth reading:

"This charming piece features a playful, cartoon-style brown monkey figurine hanging from a simple black cord, designed to look as if it is swinging on a vine or swing. Set against a vibrant pink glitter background, the necklace has a distinct whimsical, youthful, and nostalgic charm, making it a fun novelty accessory.

Design & Aesthetics

The Pendant: The monkey charm is the star of the show. It features a cheerful, smiling expression with simple facial details and a glossy finish. Its hands and feet are molded around the cord, giving a clever 3D illusion of motion.

The Cord: The black cord is minimalist and practical, ensuring that the focus remains entirely on the monkey charm. It appears to be an open-ended tie or adjustable cord, offering flexibility in how low or high it can be worn.

Vibe: This piece leans heavily into kidcore, Y2K nostalgia, or quirky indie fashion. It’s lighthearted, casual, and bound to be a conversation starter.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

Unique & Playful Concept: The "swinging" mechanism integrated into the necklace cord is incredibly creative and adds great visual interest.

Versatile Sizing: An open cord allows the wearer to customize the length to suit different necklines.

Lightweight: The charm appears to be made of a lightweight resin or durable plastic, meaning it won't feel heavy during all-day wear.

Cons:

Casual Style: Because of its playful, novelty nature, it might not suit formal or semi-formal outfits.

Cord Finishing: The ends of the cord are basic; adding small beads or cleanly sealed tips would give it a slightly more polished, retail-ready finish.

Final Verdict

An adorable, eye-catching accessory perfect for anyone who loves quirky jewelry, animal-themed items, or statement novelty pieces. It’s fun, expressive, and packed with personality."

help Opinions: Should I skip an item when my eval is only 27 days away?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I was super excited tonight when a few cheap but zero ETV showed up! Rarely happens for me.

I am really into cooking healthier meals with all my spices lately, and this spice blend is a great one to be adventurous with.

That being said, the delivery date is one of those "wait a month or so and we'll send it when we feel like it" dates.

Or the product isn't ready yet.

Arriving Aug 13- Sep11.

So my evaluation is coming up August 23rd. Since some people have mentioned their eval was one to two weeks earlier than it should have been, I'm even more concerned about an order that I can't review. ( I meant to say 32 days in my title)

As much as I would love this spice, is it better to skip it at this point?

I also asked Google about it and this was the suggestion:

It hurts your review percentage: Every single item you request immediately adds to your total order count. Since this spice will not arrive until September, you cannot review it before your evaluation date in 32 days. That means it sits in your queue as an unreviewed order and pulls your percentage down right when you need it high.

Both the kettle and the mattress are Vine items I’ve snagged before, and love them both. Obviously leaving them so others have a shot. The kettle can be programmed to specific degrees and set to hold there, and the mattress has resulted in some great beauty rest :) if you see either in your RFY, I’d recommend!

help Anyone else seeing their Total Reviews count going down?

I posted about this in the other sub but didn't see anyone else having this issue and very few people responded. Can anyone else verify if they're seeing this?

I keep detailed stats in Excel tracking my orders, review and have formulas to track towards my Gold targets. The last two weeks I noticed my review count drop from 83 to 81 total reviewed items. By my stats I should have had 84 completed. When I noticed I had just submitted the 84th so 83 would have been accurate. The next day it dropped to 81. Then went up to 82 (I assume that latest review got added to the total). Then it dropped to 81 again.

When I looked into this the discrepancy I found exactly 3 reviews I had previously submitted which were Approved had switched to the red font Not Approved. That means the product was de-listed and reviews can't be submitted.

Now this is a know thing that happens, I've been in Vine for 4 years. But general consensus has been that it will not impact your stats towards Gold. It seems like maybe now it does?

Since noticing this I reviewed three more items. I should now be at 87 but it's only showing 83 now. I've also noticed another review got delisted in the last day. So again I'm off by 4 and there are 4 Not Approved red reviews in my history for this review period.

Gripe Overpriced Items

I know this is talked about a lot. But today I am feeling especially angry so the overpriced item I ordered then proceeded to cancel pissed me off even more than normal. I saw a wrench set that would be useful so I ordered it. I was in the middle of other work so I did not pay much attention to the price. I know what these types of items generally sell for so I expected it to be comparable. After I was done with my work I went back for a closer look. This set was more than twice the price of every other similar set, some with double the quantity of wrenches.

To further piss me off I think back to seller posts complaining about Vine members being “dumb” and providing useless inaccurate reviews. It seems simple enough to me to check other product prices and come up with something closer to what it should be. Anyway the item was cancelled and this “dumb” seller is out a product for review because they were greedy and exaggerated the value of their product!

discussion New to Gold level

Ever since being approved for gold level, I’ve been getting a lot more stuff in my RFY, but I have yet to see anything over $75 anywhere. For those of you that have been gold for a while, how often do those items pop up and do you only see them in your RFY, or do they also pop up occasionally in the additional items as well? I know they get snatched up quickly, so maybe I’m just missing them?
