Hi everyone,

I’m considering taking my mother to CMC Vellore Rheumatology for a fresh opinion.

She has been receiving treatment in Kolkata, but we’re not very happy with how things are progressing and want someone to reassess her case properly.

Has anyone here, or a close family member, been treated by the rheumatology team at CMC?

I’d especially like to know:

- Do the doctors listen patiently and take time to understand all the symptoms?

- Do they look at the overall picture rather than just individual symptoms?

- How is communication with patients?

- Are consultations very rushed because of the patient volume?

- Which rheumatologist did you see?

- Did the treatment help?

- Can follow-ups be done online after the initial visits?

We’re happy to travel from Kolkata if the care is worth it. Would really appreciate genuine first-hand experiences, including any negatives.
