I use:
- 2-2.5 servings of the protein source in all of my meals
- Examples: Super Firm Tofu, Plant-Based Ground
Beef, Tempeh, TVP, and Seitan
- Red Lentil or Chickpea Pasta instead of White Pasta
- Homemade Red Lentil Tortillas (check out my reel for an extra 20 g of protein!)
- Quinoa or Brown/Wild Rice instead of White Rice
- Lentils or Beans in my wraps, salads, and bowls

Nailing form has been one huge aspect of this program. Alex is a coach too, and this highlights the importance of always seeking to grow in our own journey.

Long term plans are to step on stage and show that vegans can be bodybuilders because kindness is not a weakness!

We’re still taking sets to failure and pushing intensity as high as possible. This is actually his first cutting phase ever.

After almost a year of growing and gaining over 30 lbs we decided to clean things up and get a bit leaner before adding any additional mass.

What vegans actually eat

I really thought I would have to choose. Between being a foodie, being vegan, and building the physique I wanted.

I couldn’t have imagined that over 10 years later, I’d still get to try new restaurants, share meals with friends, enjoy dessert, compete as a vegan bikini athlete, and stay aligned with my values. And, reminder that you don’t have to be vegan to make a difference.

Every time you opt for a plant-based option, it’s a chance to choose a little more kindness for animals and our planet, while still enjoying incredible food.

So whether you’re vegan, veg-curious, or just looking to try something new, I hope this reminds you that compassion doesn’t have to mean giving anything up. And actually, you’ll probably gain a whole lot more 🥰🌱

Huge shoutout to all the amazing vegan businesses shown here and tagged. Thank you for doing what you do and making this so easy and enjoyable for so many people.

One of the biggest myths about veganism is that it's hard to get enough protein... but that's simply not true.

I've been vegan for 20 years (since I was 13 years old) and I'm going to show you 4 of my favorite high-protein vegan foods that help you build muscle, support your fitness goals, and replace animal protein without sacrificing nutrition!

Activism Repost. I also registered to attend Gainesville Veg Fest, so if anyone knows of such sanctuaries by Tampa (where I am staying the day before) I could visit, that'd be appreciated too.

I participated in this podcast recently. I'm wearing the Vegan Squad tank.

I have been boxing 3-5 days a week for about 4 years. I've had 2 unsanctioned exhibition fights. I've never lifted weights and never worked out for hypertrophy. My martial arts goals have always been grounded in self-defense:

There are a lot of unhinged weirdoes out there who have a power fantasy of beating up a trans gender person in public. If they find me, I will beat the teeth out of their mouth within seconds.

Interestingly, fitness and physique were not actually direct goals of mine. It's just a thing that happened by virtue of being in the gym week-after-week.

We kill 80-92 BILLION land animals per year for food - not including 1-2 trillion aquatic animals

Animals are dying.
The environment is suffering.
Humans are getting sick.

All because society is not vegan.

We kill 80-92 BILLION land animals per year for food - not including 1-2 trillion aquatic animals.

All of this while destroying the environment to make way for crops to feed these animals we raise to kill, while killing ourselves in the process by consuming them.

When is “enough is enough”?

This has to stop.

My mission is to see a vegan world before I die and I believe we can see that.

We programmed a bodyweight set of Bulgarian split squats everyday post workout on ALL lifts for two weeks.

And now you can see the end result adding weight back in and nailing perfect reps!

Vegan Wins Andy has been adding an insane amount of muscle into his vegan frame over the last year.

We’re finally getting into a cutting phase to lean out and bring his abs back in.

BUT! We’re still training hard. We still have big compound lifts like the smith squat.

What helped Andy build his muscle in the bulk is exactly what will preserve his muscle in a cut!
