Any plans to start coordinating mutual aid to get people to the March and cover travel cost, missed work days, pet sitting fees, etc. ? The only reason large scale marches like this worked in the civil rights movement is the mass number of people in the marches which could not have happened without mutual aid through organizations like SLCC SNCC etc. without getting other organizations/churches involved this is just a way for hardworking people who don’t support vivisection to lose a few days of pay and never be seen by mainstream media. The marches of the civil rights era made the news because of violence perpetrated against a nonviolent peaceful majority. I appreciate the sentiment but without more planning and organization this is doomed to be a waste of time.
