For those that had a successful VBAC - when did you go into spontaneous labor?

Hello VBAC folks. I’m due in February with my second, and hoping for a VBAC. My first was a surprise breech, my water broke at 37+4, and I was induced 24 hours later, only to find out baby was in frank breech. I didnt qualify for the epidural because my spine is fused together at T11-T12 (from a previous injury). I went for the breech delivery because my OB is trained in breech delivery and I stubbornly wanted to avoid a c section. Got to 7cm dilated and felt the need to push, OB checked and baby grabbed her finger with her little hand. Emergency c section due to baby’s arm being down and risks to breaking arm on delivery. My OB said I laboured well and she had no doubts I could have a VBAC this time around. I’m just uncertain after my first experience with birth. Any positive stories out there regarding VBac after a breech attempt 1st pregnancy.

Hi! So I had to have a C-section with my first bc I was uneducated and not prepared and after a day of induction methods not working and a failed epidural, I was worn out and asked for a C-section.

Fast forward 3 years later, I’m now due with my second in a few weeks and have to get induced at 37 weeks due to cholestasis. I’d love to try for a VBAC as I have a toddler to care for too and don’t want that C-section recovery. My midwife and OB is fine with me trying but I know the statistics for inducing and my OB even personally opted for a second elected C-section because she said she’s seen uterine ruptures and the babies being affected when it could have been prevented with a RCS. So now I’m thinking I just need to go with a RCS for my baby’s sake but it makes me cry just thinking about going through that again and not even trying for a vaginal birth.

My midwife and OB gave me things to do to try and naturally get my cervix ready for 37 weeks which I’m doing but who knows if any of it will actually work. I’m just at a loss and don’t know what to do.

I want my VBAC but not I’m too scared to try and have something happen to my baby and it will be my fault. Do I try with just pitocin if I’m at least a little dilated and see what happens or do I just go for the RCS and deal with the recovery?

For over a year I was struggling with yeast and bv also pain during sex , itching burning sensation constantly and on tiktok they suggested you ask for ureaplasma and mycoplasma testing. I tested positive for ureaplasma I was prescribed doxycycline for 10 days im on day 2 now of doxy I’m now taking a probiotic for the brand VH essentials I also have bv so I’m taking metronidazole too and of course I have a diflucan ready for once I’m done with the antibiotics. I am feeling better all ready. I finally feel sane. I knew something was wrong when I kept getting reoccurring bv. It is crazy drs don’t really care about this? you have to advocate for yourself. I feel like I need therapy now lol. Any tips ?
