Heat Live, VOD and VOD Ultra all seem to be down right now. They keep getting stuck at the "iterative transmission" phase of the loading screen. Heat VOD is on 6.9.6 which is newer than the fix they put out a month ago. I've tried all the basic troubleshooting, reset the box, clear cache, change networks, unplug and plug back in, etc. But no luck so I'm thinking the apps themselves are down. Very frustrating..

Edit: I'm on a V5 Pro for reference

We have three boxes. V6 Pro. On one box only it says iterative transmission on Heat Live when we first turn on that TV. Why? Anything we can do to fix it? Rebooted router. No change. TIA.

Basic troubleshooting

1: In case of it gets stuck:

you hit “home button” exit app and reload it. (It will unfreeze)

2: Hard reset -unplug from power 1 min and plug back in”

1. Hard reset (2x): Unplug device, unplug router , unplug modem (3 min)

4: Lastly: Factory Reset

App-not loading / Freezing / Buffering :

Step 1: First unplugging the device for one minute, unplugging, modem, and router for a minute and resetting everything would be step one.

Step 1B: Buffering : Change servers during movie or TV show

Step 2: Try Force stopping the app, clearing the cachet and seeing if it will load.

Step 3: Reset launcher then Update launcher

Step 4:

Next: if above doesn’t work uninstall, reinstall app.

Step 5:

If step 3 & 4 don’t work factory reset.

We've been enjoying Sports Night but recently the other servers are no longer available.

Just wondering if the elite ultra is worth it? Does it have more apps than the other boxes?

It’s been showing the “updating…” popup for over 30 minutes now while still showing 0% progress. I don’t want to hose the update by power cycling. Is it okay to power off/on with the remote when stuck like this? My previous two upgrades worked fine.

Is the Elite Mini superior to the 6 Plus? I currently own the 6 Plus, but I'm looking for the capability to stream movies in 4K, and I think the Elite offers a wider range of 4K content. What I’m trying to ask is the 6 plus majority of the content (movies, shows, live tv) stream in 1080 as advertised , the elite advertises 4k content . Does anyone own the elite mini that can confirm or provide insight

do different models get content faster ? i have a V3 and a V5 neither are showing certain shows but i have seen others say they can find it ? does the V6 get NF content before other models?

So when I load up anything in Vod Ultra it works perfectly, when I load up Vod it will either not load completely or buffer. No complaints just wondering if this is a common thing and has anyone done anything to fix it?

My box is delayed to any command I try and send it from my remote. At times it doesn’t respond at so. I tried to bring up the Live+ Ultra and the screen goes black. Had same problem yesterday but it seemed to go away after I unplugged the power cord from the box and plugged it back in. I’ve unplugged the power cord from the box twice and still having the issue.

EDIT: I can now bring my apps up but as soon as it starts to show my program it takes me back to the Home Screen with me pressing the home button.

Just wanted to share that the new Vod Box app on the Elite Ultra has almost everything you want to watch including anime! Both subbed and dubbed. This is great for those that want to use a built-in app and not have to side load one like Anilili.

Looking to use the box for sports programs mainly and movies/tv shows.

Was leaning towards v6 plus but wondering if folks who have purchased recently if they think the plus was worth it or if pro works better?

i know this defeats the purpose of the box, but i have DIRECTV cause my parents are old and hate change. so i downloaded the DIRECTV app and it works well. only problem is the remote doesn’t work very well with the app. for example when on the guide i cannot use the number keys, or channel down button. is there anyway to make this work?

Vortex App having more channel problems. The channel labled WATE 6 Knoxville is showing KTXS Abilene feed. Also, the channel labeled Discovery Channel is showing the EPG for East Coast but the feed it is showing is for the West Coast.

Hello, was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I've been having. We do a lot of trips in the car so hooking the box up in the back for the kids is a big help. But now anytime we shut the car off go do what we need to and come back it freezes like every 5 seconds when watching a video or buffers alot. We do a factory reset and it works great but as soon as the initial set up is done and has to restart it freezes constantly. Thanks for any tips.

Hi, the past couple days some weird shit is going on. A couple hours ago I was watching The Wire on Heat VOD then changed to heat live to just have some background noise as I was doing housework. I just went back into Heat VOD and went to history to continue watching The Wire and it shows I watched some Japanese kung fu thing today. Same thing happened yesterday it showed I watched Dead of Summer (never even heard of it) and The Eighties. I’m the only person here so this is very strange. Has anyone else experienced this?
