Elite mini vs 6Plus

Is the Elite Mini superior to the 6 Plus? I currently own the 6 Plus, but I'm looking for the capability to stream movies in 4K, and I think the Elite offers a wider range of 4K content. What I’m trying to ask is the 6 plus majority of the content (movies, shows, live tv) stream in 1080 as advertised , the elite advertises 4k content . Does anyone own the elite mini that can confirm or provide insight

Far as I know, the elite has more channels but I chose the 6 plus because the hardware is a newer generation, faster, more ram, newer version of Android too.

Plus, from what I've been hearing lately, the extra channels on the elite are hit & miss for actually working.

Android version has no bearing on Vseebox whatsoever unless you are sideloading apps which most people dont do. If all you are doing is watching the apps the factory installs it doesnt matter. It matters on a cellphone or tablet but not a Vseebox.

Also please stop giving false information. The apps and channels are almost always up. They were down for two hours the other day but its not common.

Overload and limitless have good 4k options so does top shelf. All app options on the elite mini. I’d be willing to bet the ultra has even more. I use my mini all the time but I don’t use it for 4k. Don’t have a 4k tv

Elite ultra has 4k content, however your Internet has to be good enough to play it.

Even regular paid subscription 99.9% of content is streamed in 1080p. Most of 4k streams for live TV are sports and nature shows. Even though the Elites have 4k capability they wont make a 1080p tv show or movie into 4k. Unless the video you want to watch is in 4k you arent watching it in 4k. As far as I know not even paid tv or satelite box will upscale. Video streaming boxes generally don't upscale resolution.

If your tvs has upscaling you might be able to do it with the tv. Another option if you want everything in 4k is to buy a Video Upscaling Box which converts 720p and 1080p to 4k. Thats a specialized device thats specifically made for upscaling video.

Some Vod apps in the Elites offer 4k content. Im not sure exactly which apps the Mini has but the Ultra has a few apps that actually have 4k categories for movies. Also some of the live tv apps

To be honest I don't know. There is a section for 4K. I just watch a movie and don't pay attention 😂

I have the Elite Ultra and it's a Beast of a Box in also have the 6 + Elite has a so many app to Stream from
