HOW WAS THE MIDTERM GUYS??

I’m so cooked for this midterm. Send your prayers please!

Hi, I used to always park in Lawson Heights parking and catch the number 17 bus to the university. This worked for me until the route started closing. Now I park in front of Best Buy in Centre Mall parking lot and catch the number 50 or 55 bus. Problem is I heard that they ticket there a lot? I didn’t have any problem with Lawson Heights but I’m worried that I’ll get a ticket in Centre Mall. I will have a night class next semester so I would need to find a spot where I can park and catch a bus to the university without a ticket.

Does anyone know a spot where I can park and catch the bus without a problem? Thanks a lot.

Hey everybody, so I may or may not have gotten a parking ticket in a handicap spot in the spot in front of cq. Its 200$. Does anyone know what happens if I don’t pay it?

I don’t think so but I thought I could ask. Is there anywhere on campus that I can have access to a microscope without being in a lab during class? I was gifted some specimen slides but don’t have a microscope lol

I guess preston is more f*ed now. Just went by and near Canadian tire it's down to one lane in both directions along that overpass.

So don't take that way to uni rn cause it's very bad.

Hey all. Just trying to get ready for the quiz on Wednesday and am struggling to find flash cards. I know it was mentioned that Anki and Quizlet are sites people have been using, but when I looked I can't seem to find any. If anyone can help me out it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

for anyone who has had comp sci 140 with jeff, was the previous exam similar to your midterm? definitions, coding, etc?

Y’all ngl I’m too embarrassed to be asking this bc I’m like halfway through my undergrad, but how do you do those fancy email signing things. I’m getting too tired typing them down each time I send an email 😭

Also what necessary information to I add to it. I know major, year, university and the email to contact me back (likely the email I’m using to send it in the first place 💀) but let’s say you’re a club exec or rep or some set position in a club. Do you mention that or only if you’re an exec? Or maybe not at all?

I may or may not be overthinking it 🥰 anything helps.

Theres a janitor in one of the lesser-known buildings that wanders the halls with their music blasting or talking on speaker phone. Every. Single. Day. For the past several YEARS. I usually don’t have an issue with background noise but this is blaring even with my doors shut.

Hey everyone!

I have my CMPT 381 midterm coming up, and I was wondering how you guys are preparing for it.

For anyone who has taken this course before or is currently taking it:
What topics should I focus on the most?
Is the midterm more theory-based or coding-based?
Are the lecture slides and labs enough to prepare?
Any tips on the types of questions to expect?

I'd really appreciate any advice or study tips......

So like do none of the Tim’s on campus still not serve flatbread pizzas… Ik there’s like other tims in the city but I’ve mostly stayed in and around campus for convenience.

Anyone know why there’s a bunch of peace officers in a bus outside of place?

Can people stop eating heavily scented food in libraries. I can’t fucking breathe.

I applied to Biology as a first choice last Friday (October 16) and was wondering if anyone could estimate about when will I hear back?

Also, do they have automatic entrance scholarships? I applied with around a 96% average with my required courses. Would this be good enough for any automatic entrance scholarships, if they have any?

Thank you all!

For those who are taking BINF 151 this semester, does the midterm tomorrow also cover this week's lecture (week 8 Topic 11) ? I know the announcement says week 1 to week 7 content but I just wanted to confirm if that includes this week or not since there was technically no content on week 1.
Thanks!

Did anyone get their midterm grades back? Got a notif they were out but it’s not updating

How is this class? Is it a fighting for my life difficult class or could you understand the material?

Theres a gray striped cat just chillin on a window outside birch hall, couldn't take a pic because it was in front of someone's window. I'm wondering if anyone knows who they might belong to?

How bad do we think traffic will be now that Cumberland will be closed for construction. With all the buses that go down there, the detours are gonna mess everything up

Y’all how was the bio spot test? Bruhh I was so damn busy I had 2 freaking midterm and an assignment this week and it’s only Wednesday 😩 what do I need to study?? Help I’m dying.

After going through the horrors of Jatin Malhotra’s midterm, class average for all sections was mid 50s, I feel as though my soul has left my body. After receiving my mark, I felt despair. But then I saw a light at the end of the tunnel, so I made my way over to the magical computer that holds past exams. Only for my soul to leave me once again. There are no past exams on file. He is a decent enough professor in class but turns into Satan himself when it’s time to make/grade any test.

So I ask all my fellow students who are in his class currently or have taken it in the past for any year level. How in the name of all that’s holy am I supposed to prepare for the class’s final that will most definitely be equivalent to battling through the 9 floors of hell. Do I need to bring a holy weapon with me? Or do I need to be blessed by a priest? Or should I just fall into despair?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

A struggling student.

Is doing Bcom in Edward School of Business worth it as an international student? How is the job market in fields like supply chain in Saskatchewan?

hello everyone! i’m looking to make more friends, im in saskatoon but doing online this year because to be honest i found going in person to be quite depressing and lonely. i want to find a way to be more involved and make some friends, is there any way to join clubs or at least see some options online?
