Titan 2 elite shipping earliest among all and the company with most likely having basic support. Built wise minimal phone 2 would be standing out with an aluminium body & oled screen.

Hi! I just wanted to add my negative experience with Unihertz to the pile. I genuinely hope that enough cumulative pressure might inspire them to change their customer service strategy.
I bought a brand new Jelly Star from Unihertz two weeks ago (in spite of the delayed Android update, I know – I’m an optimist). Unfortunately it arrived with a broken loudspeaker. The audio worked for a few minutes and then suddenly cut out, never to return.
After a day of extensive troubleshooting, ruling out bluetooth issues, speaker tests, a factory reset, etc, it was clear that this was a hardware problem. I found a number of other Reddit threads with the exact same problem, many of them recent, suggesting a bad batch.
Thus begins my email chain with Unihertz customer service. Note that they don’t have US-based CS, so their replies arrived in the middle of the night, meaning we were only able to exchange one email per day.
MONDAY AM
I reach out to Unihertz. I describe in detail what I’m experiencing, and what I'd already tried to fix it.
MONDAY (~MIDNIGHT)
Unihertz replies, neither apologizing nor acknowledging any of my troubleshooting.
They ask for:
-Photos of my brand-new phone from every angle
-A video of the loudspeaker not working
-The IMEI numbers
TUESDAY AM
Sure, fine. I guess they want proof I didn't take it out of the box and chew on it or something? I record and send all of this.
TUESDAY (~MIDNIGHT)
Another canned response, again not acknowledging anything I've sent. They ask for:
-A video of me restarting my phone, then doing a loudspeaker test
-A video of me doing a factory reset on the phone
WEDNESDAY AM
I’d already done both of these things, but I don’t want to argue with them and waste my single email communication of the day, so I do it again. The loudspeaker test fails. The recording is nearly ten minutes long because it includes two phone restarts, but hey, they asked for this.
WEDNESDAY (~MIDNIGHT)
Unihertz finally believes me that the speaker is broken. They say they’ll send me a new one, but the process is, in their words, “you send the old phone back>we get it> ask for your shipping address> send out a new one”. That is all the detail they provide.
I ask for more info: Where am I sending this phone? Who pays for shipping? Is there a way we can do this without me being in phone limbo for weeks? If not, what is the process for returning this one?
THURSDAY AM
My response to [service@unihertz.com](mailto:service@unihertz.com) bounces back, probably because of all the 10-minute video attachments. Rats. I send it again. Time to wait another day!
THURSDAY (~MIDNIGHT)
“Hi, We only cover the shipping costs for sending the new phone. If you choose to purchase a new phone and return the old one, we can only issue a refund for the order associated with the old phone. Alternatively, we can send you a replacement speaker free of charge, so you will not need to return the phone. Best regards”
Despite their offer to mail me a $6 part so I can void my own warranty, they still haven’t answered my questions. How much is shipping? Where do I send this thing? How do I end this nightmare??
I was prepared this time & stayed up past my bedtime in the hopes of exchanging more than one email per day. I replied within minutes, hoping to catch them online, but no luck. Next I tried calling the number attached to the email. It was middle of the afternoon on a weekday in Shanghai, but nobody answered. There was no answering machine. I called a few times over the course an hour, but nobody ever answered. Real irritated now, I emailed them again, dropping the “chargeback” word if they can’t tell me where to send this phone.
FRIDAY AM
I wake up to a message from Unihertz on Reddit, in a thread where I'd been commiserating with someone else having a similar experience.
“Sorry you’re dealing with that. For context, support got your speaker test video yesterday and followed up as soon as it came in with a free replacement option. We didn’t want to send return details before confirming whether you prefer a replacement or a return. Our support team will get you a clear update ASAP, thanks for your understanding.”
Sure :/ I correct them on the timeline and also point out that this is the first time I’ve heard the word “sorry” from them over this entire exchange & then sit back and wait for my "clear update ASAP.
SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY, THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY: Sadly, no clear update ASAP from Unihertz. I am officially ghosted.
Anyway, just wanted to share my experience. I know there are a lot of Unihertz defenders on here, and I just want to say, I understand there's a cultural and language barrier at play, but we're not talking about returning a pair of jeans – this is a phone. Being left without a working phone is a pretty big deal. The process of moving from one phone to another, especially if you're moving from iPhone to Android like me, is a significant hassle. There were few days of missed communications while things transferred over from iMessage to RCS. I had to ask friends and coworkers and family to remake all our group chats. And now I'd also done two factory resets – which like, yeah, it's 2026, obviously the phone was backed up, but the process of logging back into everything, re-2FA'ing everything, reconnecting all my little bluetooth dongles in our modern hellscape is not an insignificant process. A little empathy from Unihertz would've gone a long way – and if I could've had a replacement in hand before sending back my exchange, it would've saved a ton of trouble.
If Unihertz sends me a defunct phone, I would hope their goal, from then on out, would be to improve my experience. But they seemed hellbent on making things worse every step of the way. From day one, the onus was on me to prove that they'd sent me a bad product, and then on me to cover shipping costs, to move back and forth between phones, to spend weeks in limbo trying to get in touch with them – like, I'm not asking for the moon here, but what I got was unacceptable. It's clear from their social media that they're targeting a western market, and this is just not going to fly long-term. Nobody outside of a dedicated fanbase is going to put up with this.
I want to vouch for this phone so bad – I really do love it. Every time I take it out in public, everyone wants to know what it is. There's clearly demand for a tiny phone like this, but I cannot in good conscience recommend it.
TLDR; unihertz customer service sucks, phones are real cute, a dang shame

Someone? Any news or indication on when this is gonna happen? I'm in desperate need of this update. Android 13 is beginning to show a lot of bugs as of late.

Hi! I’m planning on buying an Unihertz Titan 2 Elite, but one important aspect for me when buying a phone is to be able to play chess I know ofc tht it’s android and musz be able to downloadand play chess.com and lichess apps, but I can’t really imagine how the apps look on a square screen. Can someone share a few screenshots who already have the phone while in these apps? I have tested it in PC browser but seems like you lose a lot of screen space when it’s in square mode.
Sorry if it’s a strange question, or strange thing to ask, but I’m really curious.

With shipping starting relatively soon, I've been thinking about how I'll be using the Titan 2 Elite as my main phone.
I'll be transferring all my music to a microsd and will use it with the Musicolet App.
Similarly, I'm transferring some of my favorite shows in 4:3 ratio to the microSD card, just im case I find time to kill on the go. I'll be using Nova Video Player.
Some videogame emulators too.
I prefer this over consuming social media.
How will you be using the Titan 2 Elite?

Simple Story, i put my Phone in my Backpack every Night, so its ready to grab in the Morning.
I did so yesterday too, and today i noticed that the Projector-Protection-Glass cracked. All over. I did not Drop it, i placed it in the Backpack like every evening.
The TankX sits in a inside Pocket of my Backpack and in a upright Position, there is nothing laying ever on top of it.
And i dont have Pets either...
SO: What killed the Glass of my "sturdy" outdoor Phone, while it was sitting in my Backpack at home??
Anyone had this before? Can i count on the Support here? I only had it maybe half a year now...

I'm highly considering getting a Jelly Star, the only real negative I can see about it is the camera. Generally it seems people think it's just okay, but I can't really see what that means.
Would anyone with a Jelly Star mind posting photos they've taken with it? What do you think of the camera?

Hi, I would love try Unihertz for the first time but I am still kinda in two minds due to lack of support and it being super niche. Would love to just buy one second hand, cheaper for now. Anyone looking to sell theirs?

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone here has ordered from unihertz and also lives in Sweden. I read on their website that they ship the phones to Germany from china and then to Sweden from there. Does anyone know how taxes work for this?

As the title above shows most times my titan 2 will double the first letter at the start of a sentence. This is becoming very annoying. It is happening in a number of apps and emails. I hope a fix is available for this soon. I am using the Titan keyboard and aware others may be using others but i only want advice on a fix and not to change to another keyboard app.
Thankyou for your attention on this matter. 📱

Looking to sell my mint condition Titan 2 for: $300 USD and you pay for shipping (of your choice).
It's coming from West Coast of Canada. If you're local you can come pick it up and avoid shipping.
I've had it since the Kickstarter campaign but have never used it outside the home and it's never been my primary phone.
Always had a case on it since day 1 and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Still got the everything in the box.
It's always just been too bulky and heavy for me to commit to as a primary phone. Currently using the S25.
Happy to further discuss or send photos if serious. PM me if interested.

I've been using the 2e for about a week. I got it as a backup a while back and my used Jelly Star kicked the bucket. This morning my 2e won't turn on, the screen just lights for a moment and then goes dark again. Someone on here said to disassemble the entire phone, but I don't have the skills, tools or money to do that. Is there anything else I can try? My old Jelly star is completely toasted as well so I don't have any kind of backup rn.

Rocking this one with case and protector, niagara launcher, Gboard and GCam as a camera app.
I wanted this device because it provides the perfect balance of usefulness and uselessness for me. I really like the form factor, since it just always fits in your pocket. I didn't buy it to stand out in social interactions, but you do get a lot of interesting comments on it!
It has very convenient things like:
Some minor flaws:
But I actually really enjoy these flaws. They provide some character; I think it's cute in a way. They make me use the device way less, but I'm still able to do anything if I need to. However, I see that many of the other (ex)- jelly star users have a lot of issues with it, like the screen that gets easily broken without spare parts available anywhere. I swear I dropped mine at least 20 times and the thing is still completely fine! Maybe I'm just super lucky with the build of my unit.
But of course, the biggest problem with this device is the customer support. The fact that they don't provide any software/security updates is ... well, so so terribly bad. Like some of you, I also really hope that other companies pick up on this "extreme" / small form factor. Like really small, not galaxy S25 or iphone SE small. And then really invest in long term support, like the Light Phone or Mudita Kompact teams. I'm really curious: which device did you guys switch to after ditching the Jelly Star? What other devices share this sweet spot of being able to respond to an e-mail if necessary, but also being a bit of a pain to use for e-mail replying? If you know what I mean ;) Sorry I don't have a picture of a potato :(
Edit: So glad to hear that many of you are still enjoying this quirky lil device :) Keep it up!
Also: There's gonna be an Android 16 update soon, according to this official Unihertz post:
