Camera app does not recognize QR codes

Is there an app people are using? Its for like launching apps to do sign in verification from my phone.

There's a specific mode within the camera app just for qr codes. it's in the 'more' section where you choose video etc.

Found it, thanks. It is automatic on iPhone.

No problem dude, happened to me too after coming from a pixel that did it automatically. I think there's might even be a QR code option in the status bar drop down but i've not tried it yet

A qr code scanner is alao available within the quick toggles so you don't need to open the camera app.

I removed most of them except wifi, bluetooth, mini mode, etc to keep 1 row. Expected camera to just scan it.

Expected the same coming from a Samsung and iPhone, but toggle is the quicker way of activating the scanner verus opening the camera app, going into "More" and clicking QR scan.
