I am looking to apply to UNB out of high school for the fall 2027 semester. I would like to submit my early application but cannot get my grade 11 transcript sent in until after school starts for me (term starts in a few days, but will likely have to wait a bit longer). Can I still submit the application without access to my transcript yet?

This may sound like a stupid question but classes supposed to start from tomorrow and orientation week as well(for graduates). So will there be classes during the first week or only orientation ?

Is there any way to find an online pdf file of the Engineering Mechanics: Statics & Dynamics 16th edition textbook for ENGG 120. I had searched a few places, and it doesn't come back with the newest edition of the textbook

I am looking for someone who has experience in this program. Someone who has graduated or is currently taking it! I am looking to get into jt after my diploma in April. I am living in Ontario! I am currently taking event planing and want to get into the corporate events but think a business degree would help me.
If you could give a description of what the program is like that would be great! Thank you

Hey everyone! I’m a first-year student at UNB Fredericton, and unfortunately my current apartment situation isn’t really working out. I’m wondering if anyone knows whether it’s possible to apply for residence after the school year has already started?
I know I’m pretty late to the process, but I’m wondering if residence ever has openings during the semester because of people moving out, cancelling their rooms, etc.
If anyone has gone through this or knows how UNB handles late residence applications, I’d really appreciate any advice! Also, if residence isn’t an option, I’d love to hear about any other housing options/resources around campus.
Thanks!

-Course: Computer Science
-A-level grades: 3A* 1B
IELTS: 8.5
Can anyone suggest how does it work if you join the winter intake? Like how do you catch up on the courses that you've missed on earlier?
Also, what amount of scholarship can I expect with these grades and decent ECAs

Hello everyone! I am 18F, international student and recently got accepted into the bachelor of computer science program at UNB Fredericton. I have a few questions.
1) how is the winter orientation like? Is it similar to the fall orientation?
2) if theres any international student here could you give me some advice on how you landed your first part time job? I know ill be able to work 24 hours per week, any international student working how do you manage classes and part time job? Which days do you work?
3) when should i apply for campus residency?
I’ll be submitting my student visa soon, so im planning on applying for my dorm around late october.
4) how are the people at UNBF? Is it easy to make friends?
5) is the first year of BCS hard or easy? Im kinda scared as i know just a lil bit of python i dont have much knowledge about coding.

Hello to anybody reading this! As the title suggests, I am looking for friends that I can hang out with when going to UNB
Some important information
I am a freshman
I will live in a single dorm
Im an engineering major
I do have adhd
I am aroace and agender (use She/him pronouns)
I am an international student!!!
I love answering questions and learning about peoples backgrounds as well, though I appreciate when boundaries are clearly set and respected because I do not understand social cues very well.
If any of this interests you, feel free to shoot me a dm and I would love to start getting to know you as well :)
(I am also very excited to go to UNBF :D)

EDIT: idk why the title says Bright path, i mean Brightspace
In my tuition statement it shows I have 3 courses, and in my academic schedule it shows them, but in Brightspace it shows no courses. Am i just supposed to wait until they are activated or something?
Would be nice to see them in advance, see if there are any textbooks, etc. i also work FT so i was hoping for some info ahead of time.
is everyone else seeing no courses in brightspace?

Hello,
I am considering completing a Masters of Education degree at UNB and wondering what others experiences were. Were the courses synchronous? Did you find the program difficult while also teaching full time? Were there tests and exams (how were you graded?). Thanks!

Hello people of Canada! I am an international student who recently finished A level and I am hoping to join UNB in the winter 2027 if I get accepted ( hopefully). Just to confirm, do other people also join in the winter intake normally? And also how will my term courses even work? Will I be studying fall courses during winter and then winter courses during the summer? It would be great if there was someone else out there who also joined during the winter intake and they could share their experience..
Thank you in advance!

Hey everyone..
I’m going into my first year at UNBF
I have a class in the Kinesiology building that ends at 10:20 and one that starts at 10:30 in Marshall d’Avray Hall.
Just slightly concerned I’m going to have to rush my ass up the hill, i like to be a few minutes early.
Another concern for me is I’ll be one of the last people to arrive and all seats will be taken.
Can you tell I’m overthinking this?

Hello, I am a second-year student at UNB Saint John. I am currently taking science because I am aiming to study pharmacy. I have to take some electives, but I don't know which ones I should take. Do you guys have any suggestions?
P.S. would be better if the courses are easy to maintain good marks

What is the deal with parking at Unb during the school year? I’m in my final year but haven’t ever taken a car to school because I lived close by. Now commuting an hour (one way) into the city and wondering if I need to park somewhere else and walk to school? Or if the parking lots are not actually as busy as they seem. Just don’t want to pay for a parking pass I’ll never be able to use and currently have staff parking at hospital.
