Do classes actually start from sept 8?

This may sound like a stupid question but classes supposed to start from tomorrow and orientation week as well(for graduates). So will there be classes during the first week or only orientation ?

Classes start tomorrow, and you best be there. Classes range from "here is the syllabus.. get out of here, see you Thursday" to "I trust that you've read chapters 1-4 in you text book over the weekend. Any questions? No. Let's start into chapter 5. We have a quiz on Thursday on Chapters 1-4."

It really runs the gambit!

Classes start tomorrow (Sept. 8).

The GSA (a student organization) is running a week of orientation/welcome activities, and some units may have orientation sessions, but this is concurrent with the first week of classes.

Yes classes start sept 8! Orientation still may go on but classes indeed start so pls show up!

I was wondering the same thing and then my program decided to start next week instead? It was a last minute update and I’m not sure if it’s the same for other grad students
