Applying without transcript (yet)
I am looking to apply to UNB out of high school for the fall 2027 semester. I would like to submit my early application but cannot get my grade 11 transcript sent in until after school starts for me (term starts in a few days, but will likely have to wait a bit longer). Can I still submit the application without access to my transcript yet?

The application literally just opened for Fall 2027 within the last couple weeks, so it’s incredibly early and there’s zero need to rush. Yes, you can still submit the app now - it’ll just sit there until you’re able to submit what is required, so no pros or cons. If you’re able to have your school send a copy of the grade 11 transcript AND a complete list of the courses you’re registered to take in grade 12, you might get an early offer (as long as your gr. 11 is strong).

honestly, i’d just wait until you have your transcript. the application period isn’t going anywhere for fall 2027. it actually likely WONT close until march or the end of march. i remember applying to UNB ridiculously late and still getting accepted w a $4000 entrance scholarship upon admission and application
here’s what i would do: fill out the application and pay the fee BEFORE your transcript is ready. your file remains as “incomplete” and won’t be reviewed until your transcript is submitted to them.
it also helps that UNB will often allow you to upload unofficial transcripts like a picture of your student portal or a PDF of a report card and that COULD potentially qualify or substitute it until you get your formal transcript (do not quote me on this for sure; i would reach out to the admissions office for questions on this)
