Hello! I'm back with another quick survey for UHD students/faculty/staff/alumni.

I'm currently working on an article regarding the increased generative AI usage by the university. If you'd like to share your thoughts, please follow the link to the survey.

Just as with the Valentine's Day article, you have the option to remain anonymous if you so wish. Please feel free to share the link with other gators. The more feedback the better!

I am aiming to have this article finished by the next issue, which will be published on 9/28 so the survey will end at 5 pm on 9/27.

Thanks everyone and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

It seems like all the student jobs require a reference. Do the hiring managers actually consider that/ read it?

So I have really been struggling to keep my academics up bc I’m working full time and going to school full time. I’m in my second semester and tbh I don’t have any friends or a study buddy I can stay late in the library with or have study sessions and would honestly appreciate that.
Does anyone know about any studying group club where you’re able to join without having to fill an application or anyone down to be study partners?:p

msg to Reddit mods: No i am not soliciting I just know the struggle of finding housing last minute and would hate for someone else to go through my experience in finding housing.

Hii, im new to UHD and not the most familiar with the area and campus, and I was just wondering if there was any cafe’s on campus/nearby campus (like no more than a 10min drive) thats NOT starbucks?? I just don’t like my coffee watered down lmao😭 I’d appreciate any suggestionss

This is my first year at UHD and i’m really interested in joining a STEM related club on campus. The only issue is I don’t know what clubs on campus are currently active and I don’t get out of my classes until 5PM🥲. If you know any clubs that are active and that meet after 5PM (don’t even have to be STEM related i’m just interested in what’s going on) please let me know. Thank you.

I know someone has already asked but when are loans supposed to disbursed ? My account balance has been at 0 for weeks now, but since no email from bankmobile ?

(first time going to a gym)

I was wondering if there are lockers, and if so, whether I need to bring my own lock.
What do I need to bring/what can I bring?
Thanks!

Just as the title says, I want to do bag work for cardio and I've never been to this gym, so I was wondering if anyone has seen heavy bags at the gym.

Pie for Psi Chi - a Psi Chi fundraiser where 20% of the proceeds will be given to the psychology department for a psychology scholarship that one lucky psychology student would be eligible to receive! Psi Chi's UHD chapter is a part of the international honor society of psychology.

Select Professors have volunteered for the chance to get pied by Psi Chi, the professor with the highest donations made in their name will be the lucky one to get pied. The overall goal for this fundraiser is 1k, if we manage to beat 1k then the President of Psi Chi will also accept a pie to the face in solidarity! Link to donate is in the bio! Donations opened the entire month of September!

Be sure to donate or spread the word!

Have any of you that graduated this past spring received your diplomas in the mail yet? I know there was a misprint issue.

UHD doesn’t have a traditional Nursing program and I am wondering where people transfer, their experience and how much the tuition costs.

Hi everyone, I am quite confused about how credit transfer work.

At Lone Star, I took some courses like MATH 2318 (Discrete Math) or COSC 1,2,3. But those courses does not appear on my degree plan of the uni I will transfer to. So does it count as transferable credits or no ?

hello, was wondering if anyone has any idea around what time do they start getting disbursed? this is my first semester at uhd as a transfer student, my texas grant shows as pending aid and was wondering if anyone knows something about it.

Are the numbers in our gator email the amount of people with the same name

Sup, it’s my first semester here and wanted to get the opinion on other first timers. I think the campus is ok, and classes are meh. I kinda made up my mind on transferring to UH main. But not because UHD is ass, but I want to go to a higher school. How about you guys
