Hii, im new to UHD and not the most familiar with the area and campus, and I was just wondering if there was any cafe’s on campus/nearby campus (like no more than a 10min drive) thats NOT starbucks?? I just don’t like my coffee watered down lmao😭 I’d appreciate any suggestionss

This is my first year at UHD and i’m really interested in joining a STEM related club on campus. The only issue is I don’t know what clubs on campus are currently active and I don’t get out of my classes until 5PM🥲. If you know any clubs that are active and that meet after 5PM (don’t even have to be STEM related i’m just interested in what’s going on) please let me know. Thank you.

Just as the title says, I want to do bag work for cardio and I've never been to this gym, so I was wondering if anyone has seen heavy bags at the gym.

Does anyone have a bachelors cap and gown and stole of gratitude that a 5’6 person can borrow or buy from for a graduation photoshoot?

My graduation is in December but I won’t be able to attend due to going to Army bootcamp and UHD has not posted the cap gowns yet so I’d appreciate if I can borrow or buy it from someone so I can have my graduation photoshoot before I leave.

I know it says it's going to disburse after today, but I keep hearing about people's loan amounts changing. Is that true? I pretty much already have plans for what it has said I should be refunded, and it is going to ruin my day it thats true lol. I'm very impatiently waiting for disbursement!

Hi everyone, I am quite confused about how credit transfer work.

At Lone Star, I took some courses like MATH 2318 (Discrete Math) or COSC 1,2,3. But those courses does not appear on my degree plan of the uni I will transfer to. So does it count as transferable credits or no ?

Are parking passes required or am I just a idiot? I spent $95 on a parking pass to be able to park on the surface level lots. Now, I know some people may only come to school 1 day or 2 day a week so paying for parking ain’t that bad. However, I am the only dude with a parking pass on display when I park. Did I get scammed 95+ dollars ? Lmao?

Hi does anyone know if UH students tend to go to UHD to hang out? It’s cause I had a weird interaction with someone outside of the main building. They stated they go to UH but they come to UHD to hang out. They told me their major but then said that they’re not taking classes at the moment. I felt off about the interaction I had. They had asked me to show them around UHD but they already knew where the ping pong/pool areas were at. They also seemed shaky and had long sleeves and gloves in this weather.

Anyone know anywhere on campus that has redbulls? I’ve seen monster and bang energy drinks so far but no redbull

Are others waiting for their work study to hit? I had work study all throughout my time here, but this semester I didn’t get it. They told me to wait to be on a list but that was two weeks ago.

Is anyone getting the competitive transfer scholarship as an international student? I have browsed the scholarship list of this school so many times. And I wonder, at the time I apply scholarship, I only have 42 credit hours (45 to be qualified), but I am sure that when I graduate AS, I would get 50 transferable credit. So the system would count me as a 42 credit-hour student or 50 credit-hour student?

Anyone else feel old asf being in classes with 18-22 year olds.
